Jeremy Harry Harris & the Treachery Of Ravens Forced to Postpone European Tour

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the inevitable postponement of the “Walking With My Darkness” Oct – Nov 2025 European Tour.

Whilst we remain committed to the eventual touring of Europe, unfortunately, we’ve been forced to postpone until further notice due to illness within Jeremy’s immediate family.

As you might be aware, a few months back, Jeremy Harry Harris raised $6,000 of much-needed funds to support the AGCF (Aust Gynaecological Cancer Foundation), his charity of choice given his wife’s recent stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

Whilst the outcome of that endeavour was indeed a positive one, the outcome of recent tests for his wife have not been as positive, with the need for some pretty invasive and complex surgery being required immediately.

Whilst we are devastated at not being able to come to Europe this October, we are confident that everyone will understand that our families come first, even before music. She’s in the fight for her life right now, and after careful consideration, much discussion, and a lot of “should I go, or should I stay now” (Thank you, The Clash!), we’ve made the call, not to proceed at this time.
We’re aiming to sort this surgery out, kick cancer’s arse, and be back on the road for a European Summer tour in May / June 2026.

Whilst this is a really disappointing thing to have to do, we know we can count on all our supporters to be understanding and respect our decision.

A lot of time, effort, and planning has gone into this so far, especially from our Tour Booker….We extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to Damir Marijan of Stage2stage – Concert Booking & Promotion, who has worked tirelessly to bring this tour to life. We are so sorry to him right now, as we know just how hard it is to book shows throughout Europe only to have the band pull out. Please accept our sincerest apologies for this, and our genuine thanks for your efforts to date.

Please stay tuned for new summer dates being announced as soon as we can finalise it all.

SOWULO Premiere New Album “NIHT”, Out Now

For the past 15 years, Faber Horbach has traced our connection with the sun through the music of Sowulo, but his new album  journeys into darkness. Written while grieving the loss of both his father and stepfather, NIHT descends into the death of one’s ego, only to reach renewal.

“Each note responds to the previous one, and all seem driven by the same desire”, writes Act Infernalis, “to guide our minds along this sometimes theatrical path that allows us to contemplate the dreamlike swirls that populate the compositions, as well as the intoxicating vocals”

NIHT was released, Friday, August 29 on Season of Mist, and you can hear all 13 haunting songs by listening to the full album stream on the Season of Mist YouTube channel.

Order the album: https://orcd.co/sowuloniht

With NIHT, Sowulo steps away from the light. But the rising Nordic folk star doesn’t embraces darkness as a form of destruction so much as a path toward transformation. Lead single “Āsteorfan” (To Die) joins ancient instruments with modern production in offering a moment of surrender that echoes far beyond the self. “Sōl ond Māni” (Sun and Moon) uses a broken instrument to give death a voice, while vocalist Micky Huijsmans honors the sacred rhythm of the menstrual cycle on  “Mōnaþblōd” (Moonblood).

Deep with mystifying atmosphere and backed by ritualistic force, NIHT emerges as a spiritual act of surrender and remembrance.

Tracklist:
1. Niwe Mōna (1:03)
2. Seolfren Sicol (3:43)
3. Āsteorfan (4:00) [WATCH]
4. Sōl ond Māni (5:24) [WATCH]
5. Full Mōna (4:18)
6. Miċele Steorran (4:33)
7. Mōnaþblōd (4:12)
8. Nihtēagan (4:04)
9. Carnyx (3:46)
10. Eald Mōna (5:22)
11. Swefnian (4:14)
12. Heolstor Sċeadu (4:04)
13. Genihtian (1:35)
Full runtime: 50:18

Sowulo is the evocative musical work of Faber Horbach, blending the spiritual philosophy of ancient Northern Europe with the continuous cycles of the universe.

Through the use of a wide array of historical instruments, melancholic melodies, and philosophical lyrics in Anglo-Saxon, Sowulo crafts an immersive sonic landscape that invites listeners to embark on an inner journey.

Weaving together the sounds of instruments like the Carnyx, Nyckelharpa, Celtic Harp, Shaman drums, Blow horns, Irish Bouzouki, Taglharpa, Lyre, Viola and various traditional vocal techniques, Sowulo shapes its distinctive sound.

The name “Sowulo,” meaning “Sun” in Proto-Germanic, reflects the essence of the music. As we circle the sun, we feel the cyclical nature of life: day and night, the four seasons, birth and death, and the eternal dance between decay and renewal.

SLAVE KEEPER Present Video for First Single ‘Jak Feniks’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 30, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: SLAVE KEEPER. Leave a comment

SLAVE KEEPER moves musically along the border between hard rock and heavy metal. Catchy melodies, powerful and versatile vocals, juicy riffs, and soaring guitar harmonies—all undeniably inspired by the giants of the genre, yet delivered in the band’s own distinctive style.

Formed in 2014, Slave Keeper has performed on numerous stages across Poland, sharing the bill with acts such as Deep Purple, Nazareth, Jorn and Absolva. In 2022, the band released its debut album “Ślad” (en. Trace), featuring 12 diverse, original songs. The album was met with critical and audience acclaim, showcasing the band’s broad musical palette—from fast-paced heavy metal gallops and heartfelt ballads to richly arranged, multilayered compositions.

The band’s second album titled “Podwójna gra” (en. Double Game), is set to be released in October 2025. Stylistically, it continues the path paved by the debut, while delving deeper into its core theme: a musical journey through the human psyche, where primal forces of good and evil clash in a timeless inner conflict that defines the human condition.

Music for album “Podwójna gra” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Łukasz Suszko at Wesoła 24 Studio (Shadow Warrior, Toughness, Rusted Brain) who also played guest keyboard parts. Cover artwork was done by Piotr Szafraniec (Lost Soul, Trauma, Vader). The album is now available for pre-order on CD and vinyl (LP) – here.

Below you can watch video to the song “Jak Feniks” which was done by duo Karol Przednowek & Dominik Mokosiej.

Marta Biernacka – vocals
Piotr Miećko – guitar
Piotr Jakubowicz – guitar

ABRAHAM Release New Single ‘I am the Vessel and the Vessel Is Me’

Swiss post-metallers Abraham unveil their new single ‘I am the Vessel and the Vessel Is Me’, a complex, gargantuan effort that offers another glimpse into their new masterpiece’s kaleidoscopic chaos.

Their fifth studio album, the mighty idsungwüssä, will be released 26th September via Pelagic Records and is the third and final chapter to a series of concept albums of truly epic proportions.

Pre-order idsungwüssä here: https://orcd.co/abraham-idsungwussa

Still staged in the gritty atmosphere and philosophical weight of post-metal, sludge, and ambient noise, idsungwüssä sees Abraham march even further into dissonant and defiant territory.

“The three albums are clearly linked together thematically”, the band comment, “although, rather than an additional chapter, idsungwüssä is more like a parallel narrative to Débris de mondes perdus. The latter was a jump in time after Look, Here Comes the Dark!, whereas idsungwüssä is a jump in space, a journey away from earth. It should be the final piece of this little jolly ride.”

This album isn’t just heavy, it is absolutely drenched in delicious filth, and yet by embracing even more the melodic interludes and melancholic passages, they create a devastating contrast to the wall of power coming from stacked guitars, catastrophic drums and raging, sharp vocals – delivered in Swiss-German dialect.

“The album was recorded between November 2024 and February 2025, all while handling our day jobs and in a period that was, on a personal level, not the easiest for some of us. It is only in the last two weeks of the recording process, right before sending it out to mixing, that it sort of came together and started to feel like a coherent album, an album that we could be happy and proud about. For an album with change/transformation as an underlying theme, this is sort of performative!”

This urgency and duress bleeds into every song, an hour long journey that moves from the grim to sublime, from melancholy to raw destruction — evoking ruined civilisations and the last wails of fractured psyches. Yet there is something less bleakly human, more ethereal at moments, as if glimpsing beyond the constraints of the body and its wheel of flesh and death.

Strewn throughout the record are appearances of Farfisa Louvre organ – prominently featuring on an Abraham album for the first time. The band were also joined by Kevin Galland (Coilguns) who added additional Moog and piano parts.

The band continue: “Our approach to recording guitars was different than what we did before. Instead of having one guitar on the left playing a part and one on the right playing another part, we decided that left and right guitars were to play the same part, and the center guitar was to play another part. We just stacked more guitars whenever we needed. And oh did we use a lot of reverb, too!”

The structures and movements of the songs found within idsungwüssä are unique and fresh – a balancing of themes and emotions that is both intoxicating and unsettling, it is an immersive journey that rewards deep listening and challenges the boundaries of genre. From the patient grandeur of coming extinction, to the chaos and fevered urgency of the aftermath, in idsungwüssä Abraham move forward from prophetic lamentation to an elegiac visceral response. The emotional closure of this expression is felt, something final that will leave you speechless and with only one real option; listen to it again.

Tracklisting:

1. Fate of Man Lies in the Stars
2. I Am the Vessel and The Vessel Is Me
3. A Discomposite Shell
4. Naked in a Naked Sky
5. Suurwäut
6. En Tüüfus Tümpu
7. 06.00.40U
8. Home

Line-up:
Val DiCabillo – bass
Steven Margo Dita d’Oro – guitars
Dave Schlagmeister – drums, vocals
Jakkob Wierdmann – guitars

AEPHANEMER Announce New Studio Album “Utopie” + Unleash Blistering First Single & Video ‘La Règle du Jeu’

Following the roaring success of their latest album A Dream Of Wilderness (2021), Toulouse-based melodic death metal powerhouse AEPHANEMER strikes again with their fourth studio offering, Utopie, slated for a release on October 31, 2025 via Napalm Records.

Today, the trio has unleashed the opening single, “La Règle du Jeu”, a blistering ripper with frantic tempos, carnivorous growls from frontwoman Marion Bascoul, and an epic balance of death metal and classical influences!

The band comments:
“We’re really proud of La Règle du Jeu – it’s one of the most energetic and catchy songs on the album, and we feel it captures the balance we’ve been aiming for between our favorite melodic death metal influences and classical music arrangements. We hope listeners will like it!”

Blending ferocious melodic death metal with cinematic grandeur, Utopie sees the trio unleash an ambitious, razor-sharp assault of epic melodies, relentless speed, and philosophical depth, pushing their sound into bold new territory. Led by the commanding presence of Bascoul, the band delivers a fiercely technical and emotionally immersive record — lyrically exploring the uniquely mythic urgency of modern times.

In support of Utopie, the band will embark on a European tour in early November, with special guests VALHALORE, DARK OATH and WALDGEFLÜSTER. Find all upcoming live dates listed below!

With Utopie, AEPHANEMER recalibrates their formula, surging with heavier classical influences, blistering riffage, majestic orchestrations, and Slavic folk undertones — etching a sound equally ancient and futuristic.

“With Utopie, we set out to create a sound that brings together the elements we’ve always loved — the intensity of melodic death metal and the depth of classical music,” AEPHANEMER reveals. “We spent a lot of time shaping melodies, drawing inspiration from polyphonic writing, and building orchestral arrangements that feel both powerful and natural to us. It was a challenging but fulfilling process, and we sincerely hope listeners will connect with what we’ve crafted.”

Lyrically, the record engages with the concept of utopia not as escape, but as confrontation — dissecting philosophical ideals with their refined sonic scalpel, and pushing for a world of harmony between living beings.

Actively bucking genre conventions, AEPHANEMER continues to reinvent their path in the melodic death metal landscape. Utopie is more than just an album — it’s a storm of sound, an ideological reckoning, and a powerful new chapter from one of Europe’s most vital and visionary metal bands!
