The release of THE MUGSHOTS‘ new album, “Gloomy, Eerie And Weird” is now just around the corner, scheduled for April 17th. Today, we present “The Empty Park”, the new single from the album, featuring special guests Trevor, the captivating voice of SADIST, and Fredrik Norrman, longtime guitarist of OCTOBER TIDE and ex KATATONIA.
Mickey E.Vil, the band’s charismatic leader, created the video, which is available on YouTube:
“Gloomy, Eerie And Weird” is an incredible work more than anything else for its sound, son of the guitarist Priest’s production and Dan Swanö’s mind-blowing mastering at Unisound Studio, then for the guests from all over the world who indelibly enrich the album (just a few names here: Mario “The Black” Di Donato with his last recordings, Gaye Advert, Enrico Ruggeri, Andy La Rocque, Sakis Tolis, Jim Mutilator, Trevor Sadist, Fredrik Norrman, Tommy Talamanca), and above all for the characteristics of the journey they do in this output which, between darkness, irony and vision, confirms a band with its own identity so unique in the international Rock scene to be incomparable.
The journey through darkness, irony, and vision is enriched with a new gem; prepare yourself for an extraordinary experience.
Italian death-grind veterans UNDERTAKERS have announced the release of their new album, “Global Dominion”, set to drop on July 10th, 2026 via Time To Kill Records. Representing a significant step forward for the band, the record is poised to surprise many with its sharpened identity and uncompromising vision.
This album marks the most mature chapter in the band’s history. It is where everything finally locks into place: grindcore violence, hardcore urgency, death metal weight and sharp black metal edges fused into a modern sound that never betrays its old-school DNA. No nostalgia trip, no trend-chasing—just experience, control, and intent.
The record is built on contrast: precision versus chaos, speed versus crushing mid-tempos, modern production versus a raw, uncompromising attitude. Every track serves a purpose, every riff hits with direction. This is a band that knows exactly who it is and has nothing left to prove.
Lyrically and conceptually, the album is both a denunciation and a reflection. “Global Dominion” is the core statement: a ruthless look at power, control, and submission in contemporary society, but also a mirror held up to human nature itself. This is not abstract politics, it’s about systems we live in, benefit from, and are crushed by at the same time.
Tracks like “Rise of the Resistance”, “Collapse Protocol”, and “Iron Regime” define the first impact: rebellion, systemic failure, and enforced order. “Plutocracy Era” sharpens the focus, exposing a world ruled by wealth and influence, while “Just Keep Fighting” stands as a blunt survival mantra. The album closes with “Global Dominion” and “United Front”, tying the narrative together: awareness without illusions, resistance without rhetoric.
This is a heavy record with something to say. Cold, aggressive, and direct. Modern in form, old-school in spirit. No compromises.
The first single and further details about the album will be revealed soon.

UNDERTAKERS – Hate Since 1991
Formed in late 1991, UNDERTAKERS are among the longest-running and most uncompromising bands of the Italian extreme underground.
Over the decades, they have shared the stage with an insane number of international acts, including Napalm Death, Suffocation, Malevolent Creation, Vader, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Fuzztones, Sinister, Dog Eat Dog, Krabathor, Disgorge, Pandemia, Ryker’s and many more far too many to list properly.
The band has completed three European tours and appeared multiple times at major festivals such as Brutal Assault and Dynamo Open Air, building a solid reputation as a relentless and unforgiving live act.
Originally rooted in classic death metal, UNDERTAKERS have constantly evolved their sound into a violent and unmistakable mix of grindcore, brutal death metal and hardcore. The result is a raw and aggressive hybrid best described as pure brutal-core.
UNDERTAKERS were personally selected by 99 Posse as representatives of the Italian extreme scene for a BMG-promoted tribute project celebrating ten years of activity of the Neapolitan collective. This collaboration resulted in a grindcore reworking of the iconic track “Ripetutamente”, a crossover experiment that perfectly reflects the band’s anarchic and uncompromising attitude.
Throughout their career, the band has appeared on numerous compilations, released a 7” produced by Kick Promotion, and featured on Rock TV with performances on Database, Sala Prove and Rock TV Tour.
Their discography includes the split “Chaos in Musica” (Massacro Records) and the experimental release “Revision Distortion X-Version” (Nocturnal Music), an electronic reinterpretation of “Vision Distortion Perversion” blending grind, jungle and techno—clear proof that UNDERTAKERS have never played it safe.
In 2020, the band returned with “Dictatorial Democracy”, released on October 30th by Time To Kill Records in three ultra-limited vinyl editions. The album is a brutal summary of the band’s entire career, featuring new and classic tracks alongside two essential covers: “Fascist Pig” (Suicidal Tendencies) and the grind version of “Ripetutamente”.
In 2024, UNDERTAKERS released a split 7” with Plakkaggio, delivering a death metal reinterpretation of the punk classic “Pet Sematary” by the Ramones once again twisting icons into something far more extreme.
French post-rock collective HANRY previously announced their debut album What Came From Silence, arriving 29th May via Pelagic Records. The band have now unveiled the second single, ‘Remains’, offering another glimpse into their carefully sculpted world.
The band comment: “‘Remains’ originated from a demo we had set aside for a long time. For months, the track resisted us, and we rewrote its opening several times without ever finding the right direction. It was only after all the album demos were completed that we returned to it one last time. At that point, something clicked in a clear, almost instinctive way, and the track finally revealed itself as it was meant to be. That was the moment ‘Remains’ truly came to life.
“The piece opens with an electronic and contemplative approach, written in the spirit of a post-rock track but entirely built from analog textures. The introduction unfolds through a series of raw, almost abrupt sections, with sharp transitions shaping the structure. You can hear influences from artists like Jon Hopkins, Boards of Canada, or Rival Consoles. Gradually, the band re-enters, led by a keyboard that opens a breach. Elements come together step by step until they converge into a powerful riff that suddenly shifts the track. Layers expand and the music moves into a more organic territory, somewhere between Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, and SUUNS. The track ends in a complete collapse, a massive wall of sound with no rhythmic anchor, a final wave where everything dissolves.
“‘Remains’ explores this constant tension between two states, a fragile balance that, after many transformations, eventually found its final form.”
Marking a defining moment in the band’s evolution, the new record captures HANRY at their most expansive and self assured, a sweeping, cinematic body of work where delicate restraint gradually gives way to towering crescendos and luminous emotional release.
Formed in 2022, HANRY have quickly developed a reputation for expansive compositions that balance atmosphere with weight. Built around patience, texture and carefully controlled crescendos, their music moves fluidly between fragile ambient passages and towering, emotionally charged climaxes.
Written during a particularly long winter in Brittany, debut album What Came From Silence carries an atmosphere of tension and introspection across its eight immersive tracks.
Across the record, HANRY lean further into the contrast that defines their sound. Clean guitar tones shimmer before dissolving into waves of saturated distortion. Ambient passages slowly evolve into powerful, widescreen moments. Even at their most delicate, there is motion, subtle pulses and shifting textures that push the music forward. When the band unleashes its full force, the sound remains articulate; each instrument retains its identity within the surge.
“Since the beginning of HANRY, cinematic imagery has been at the core of our artistic vision,” the band say. “We often compose from mental images, landscapes or scenes that could almost belong to a film. We wanted the album to feel like a continuous experience, something listeners can fully immerse themselves in and interpret in their own way.”
Initially composed by the core trio of Anthony Leliard (bass/guitar), Marc Mifune (keys) and Jean-Anaël Aubaux (J.A) (guitar), the album was then further developed with the full band in their own studio. With J.A. and drummer ClémentChampigny both working as sound engineers, HANRY produced and mixed the record themselves at DiscoCasino Studio, ensuring complete control over its identity. It was mastered by Chab at Chab Mastering.
‘Phantom Rush’, the closing track on the album features a stunning collaboration with pianist Mariposa, adding an additional layer of depth and emotional intensity to the record.
Artwork was created by French artist Aloïs Lecerf, who describes the piece as reflecting the same tension between stillness and eruption that runs through the record itself.
“It’s balanced between restraint and release. The cover evokes a presence that gradually emerges , something calm, dense, almost motionless, that eventually becomes vast and luminous. It seeks to capture that moment when silence begins to crack. Within a grainy, incandescent landscape, an immobile silhouette slowly fractures, allowing light to emerge.”
The album arrives at a pivotal moment for the band. A recent performance at the renowned Trans Musicales in Rennes was broadcast nationally to thousands, while a live session with KEXP signals growing international momentum.
With What Came From Silence, HANRY deliver a record that feels both expansive and deeply personal, a carefully constructed journey where silence, texture and atmosphere carry as much weight as the crescendos themselves.Catch the band live at Pelagic Fest in August, with more live dates to be announced soon.

RESTLESS SPIRIT present the final advance single, ‘Desolation’s Wake‘, taken from their forthcoming self-titled album. “Restless Spirit” is chalked up for release on May 8, 2026, via Magnetic Eye Records, available for pre-order atTHIS LOCATION
In further news, RESTLESS SPIRIT have announced a massive co-headling US-tour with GOZU to take place in May & June this year.
RESTLESS SPIRIT comment: “We’re beyond excited to take the new songs on the road after working so hard to create what we feel is our best album to date“, vocalist and guitarist Paul Aloisio states. “We’re already curating a setlist that will cater to fans of all eras of the band, both old and new. By joining forces with Gozu there will be an abundance of heaviness each night and that we know for a fact!“
RESTLESS SPIRIT comment on the new single: “With ‘Desolation’s Wake’ we present the fastest song our new record“, Paul Aloisio writes on behalf of the band. “This track is pure energy and fury, and it comes with one of my favorite choruses that we’ve ever written. Interestingly, ‘Desolation’s Wake’ was pretty difficult to nail despite it being one of our simpler tracks – at least , we thought it was that! Everyone will be able to hear it live on the upcoming US tour that we’re co-headlining with Gozu.“
Tracklist 1. The Burning Need 2. Hallowed 3. Red in Tooth and Claw 4. Desire Lines 5. Desolation’s Wake 6. Ember 7. Time and Distance 8. Phantom Pain
With their self-titled full-length, RESTLESS SPIRIT have reached a point in their career where the band of friends from Long Island, New York knows exactly who they are and where they stand. As the eight tracks on “Restless Spirit” are the most distilled version of what the trio is about, they saw no need for further explanation in the title.
So, what are RESTLESS SPIRIT about? Pure metal, no more, no less. Born from the steel mills of Birmingham this musical style has deep English working class roots that the East Coast outfit translates into an American sonic slang with elements from desert and stoner metal and even the occasional progressive flourish. As a result, they seamlessly merge classic heavy solos with roaring guitars and a pinch of psychedelic fuzz.
RESTLESS SPIRIT also share a down to earth outlook with the British pioneers that values honesty and a no-nonsense approach to songwriting and lyrics. “Restless Spirit” mainly deals with the idea of perseverance through hardship, of pushing through and starting over when everything seems bleak. This makes the album a companion piece to its predecessor “Afterimage”, which revolved around descending into and giving in to growing despair.
RESTLESS SPIRIT grew out of childhood friendship. Frontman Paul Aloisio and bass player Marc Morello first met back in the summer before Kindergarten and grew up discovering music together. Influenced by such greats as BLACK SABBATH, TYPE O NEGATIVE, and THE SWORD, RESTLESS SPIRIT officially started out in 2019 when their album debut “Lord of the New Depression” was released. At the time, their sound fit equally well into the stoner, doom, and sludge moulds. On the following “Blood of the Old Gods” (2021), the three-piece evolved stylistically into a more varied, melodic approach with added complexities.
With the stated mission of never wanting to sound exactly like before, RESTLESS SPIRIT resorted to shorter, sharpened shocks that hit straight home on their acclaimed third album, “Afterimage”, in 2024. This album was driven by tragedy and personal loss with singer and guitarist Paul Aloisio putting his heart and soul into it.
In hindsight, the massive punch to the gut delivered by “Afterimage” set the trio onto a course that led directly to “Restless Spirit”. Trimming away all sonic fat, focusing on the essentials, and refining their sound and songwriting down to its heaviest core has yielded a record that promises to be timeless.
RESTLESS SPIRIT are throwing out a rescue rope to all headbangers and particularly those dealing with all the cruelty that life can bring. “Restless Spirit” is a call to persevere in the face of others not understanding or even outright rejection. This album is about living on one’s own terms, which was and is the essence of metal.

MUDSLINGER is a breath of fresh air on the Polish metal scene. The group was formed by the Sacharczuk brothers (Cezary – vocals/guitar, Jakub – drums) based in the Warmian-Masurian town of Susz. The duo was completed by Michał Kwaśniak (guitar) and Łukasz Kleszczyński (bass). From the very beginning, the band had a clear goal: powerful sound, honest songs, and playing live without regard for current trends. They combine massive riffs, expressive rhythm, and uncompromising energy, creating music that works equally well on stage and in speakers.
Cezary “Czarol” Sacharczuk is an endorser of the Fryta Guitars brand, while Michał “Kwahu” Kwaśniak collaborates with Merlinka Pickups.
Following the release of the EP “Rogue” (2024), the singles “Wide Awake“, “Bleed,” and “Way Down” the band presenting powerful hit in the form of the single “In Vain” which was edited, mixed and mastered by Łukasz “Dzvon” Cyndzer (Truism, ex-Acid Drinkers).
Mudslinger already released brand new song. “In Vain” is one of the strongest and most uncompromising songs in the band’s catalog to date. Composed by the Sacharczuk brothers, it’s striking not only for its weighty sound, but above all for its message.
The band comments new song: “In Vain is a bitter and provocative reflection on contemporary spirituality and the moral condition of humanity. The lyrical “I” adopts the perspective of God—a being deeply disappointed with his followers. Instead of genuine repentance and humility, he sees falsehood, hypocrisy, and moral convenience. Prayer ceases to be a spiritual act—it becomes a mechanical ritual, a quick “purification” that allows for the repetition of the same mistakes without consequence. In the world depicted in the song, concepts such as regret, penance, and atonement lose their meaning. Religiosity is reduced to a superficial gesture, and the relationship with God to a purely utilitarian one. “In Vain” raises uncomfortable questions about the sincerity of faith and the meaning of repetitive rituals, creating an image of spirituality devoid of depth and responsibility“.
GYPSY PISTOLEROS release their third single ‘King Of Almost Everything’, out now, new album ‘Dark Faerie Tales‘ out 17th April via The New Church Records.
The third single from the album, “King of Almost Everything” arrives with a brand-new video — a savage, cinematic takedown of false idols, hollow power, and blind devotion. A rallying cry for the disillusioned, the track cuts deep into the mythology of modern authority:
“We crown the wrong kings and call it salvation, Follow wolves in borrowed halos straight into damnation…” Dark. Defiant. Unapologetically confrontational.
This is Gypsy Pistoleros at their most dangerous — pulling crowns from heads and setting fire to the throne.
In 2026, while much of rock music plays it safe, Gypsy Pistoleros are burning the rulebook. The world’s only Glam Punk Goth ’n’ Roll outlaws return with their most dangerous, theatrical, and uncompromising record yet — Dark Faerie Tales: A Fairytale for the Damned, released 17th April 2026 on The New Church Records Label. This is not nostalgia. This is not cosplay. This is feral, glitter-streaked, gothic punk rock with teeth.
Drawing openly from the bloodlines of The Damned, Hanoi Rocks, Killing Joke, The Cult, and the modern defiance of YUNGBLUD, Gypsy Pistoleros don’t imitate — they mutate. The result is an album that feels lived-in, earned, and gloriously unhinged.
Produced and co-written by long-time sonic conspirator Dave Draper(Michael Monroe, Ginger Wildheart, The Wildhearts, Therapy?, Elvana), Dark Faerie Tales fuses glam-soaked punk energy with gothic grandeur, raw fire, and apocalyptic swagger — a record for outsiders, believers, romantics, and beautiful misfits.
As Overdrive declares: “A love letter to the beautiful and broken, a twisted hymn for the strange of heart, and proof that rock ’n’ roll still has room for danger, drama and glitter in the dark.”
Available worldwide & instore on three-colour vinyl, digipak CD, and digital: Neon Purple & Black Splatter Vinyl Neon Green & Black Splatter Vinyl Deluxe 4-panel Digisleeve CD
Following the success of Church of the Pistoleros — hailed as one of 2025’s most fearless and eclectic rock albums — the Pistoleros have conjured something even bolder: a dark fairytale for the damned, a love letter to the beautiful and broken, and a twisted hymn for the strange of heart.
Born from the fires of their own mythology, ‘Dark Faerie Tales’ drifts through haunted woods and neon dreams — where sleaze-drenched punk anthems meet gothic grandeur, and glam swagger burns with outlaw soul. Produced and co-written once again by sonic alchemist Dave Draper (Michael Monroe, Ginger Wildheart, The Wildhearts, Ryan Hamilton, Elvana, Therapy, etc), it’s a record that breathes rebellion and myth.
Track Listing: Dark Faerie Tales My One Desire, Burn It Up King of Almost Everything She’s Getting Stranger Take My Hand to Nightmare Land Behind The Mask Prince of the Damned Rattling I Whisper Goodbye The Ghost of Baby Strange
To support the release, Gypsy Pistoleros will embark on the Dark Faerie Tales U.K. Tour, with additional festival and European dates to be announced.

Gypsy Pistoleros’ live shows are gothic theatre, glam-punk ritual, and unmissable rock spectacle. From Rebellion to Planet Rockstock, they’re ready for their biggest UK headline run yet.
Expect: Sleaze-drenched punk anthems & gothic theatrics For fans of Alice Cooper, YUNGBLUD, GHOST, The Cult, The Damned, Hanoi Rocks, Killing Joke A wild, theatrical experience — part gothic carnival, part rock ’n’ roll ritual
‘Dark Faerie Tales’ – From Myth to Magic Once upon a twisted dusk, in a desert where gods had lost their names, stood the Church of the Pistoleros — built from shattered guitars, broken hearts, and outlaw fire. It burned… but from the ashes rose a new cult, born of chaos and dreaming in half-remembered hymns. Now, Gypsy Pistoleros sing under starlight in tangled woods where belief is rhythm, glitter, and spell work — legends in apocalyptic fur, crowned in scars, howling at the dark.
