Following the release of her 2024 live CD and DVD album 20 Years of Blues Rock!, and her critically acclaimed 2025 studio album Smell The Roses, internationally acclaimed guitarist, and singer songwriter Erja Lyytinen is pleased to announce three UK concerts in November 2025 – Bridgewater, Bar Brunell (Nov 13), Tenby Blues Festival (Nov 14), and London, The Half Moon Putney (Nov 18). To coincide with the news of her UK concerts, Erja has just released a fantastic music video for “Going To Hell,” – the latest single taken from her Smell The Roses album. The music video is available to watch on YouTube, below.

“Going to Hell is one of my favourite songs from Smell The Roses,” says Erja. “We decided to shoot a music video for the song where a dashing devil wreathed in flame amps up the passion. We had never used fire as an element in our music videos, and that made the video shoot especially thrilling!”

Continues Erja, “The core message of the song comes to life in a visual format. The blues was once thought of as the devil’s music, and that notion is contrasted with the truth of the matter, that no one is superior or inferior to their fellow human beings, even if they’ve managed to convince themselves that they are.”

ERJA LYYTINEN – BIOGRAPHY

Erja Lyytinen is one of the leading blues-rock guitarists on the international touring circuit. During a recording career spanning more than 20 years, the high-flying Finn has released thirteen studio albums as well as several live albums. Lyytinen’s musical pallet is vast, encompassing the very best of contemporary blues-rock whilst inspired and influenced by the blues greats of yore.

Lyytinen is known for her stellar and energetic live performances. Live album, Diamonds on the Road (2023) received magnificent reviews in global music media. She celebrated her 20 years long career by releasing CD/DVD 20 Years of Blues Rock! that was recorded on the show at legendary Tavastia Club in Helsinki in 2023. For this spectacular event she brought the rhythm sections from her studio albums to this date and other guest artists.

Lyytinen has been acknowledged for her work by her fans, peers, and the industry alike with a treasure trove of accolades. This includes being ranked #2 on Total Guitar Magazine’s “10 Best Guitarists Now” poll as well as being awarded “Best Guitarist” at the 2017 European Blues Awards. Erja made history by becoming the first Finnish artist to be nominated for “BB King International Artist of the Year” at the Maple Blues Awards in Canada in 2022.


She has played alongside with world-famous guitarists like Carlos Santana, Sonny Landreth and Jennifer Batten.

The artist’s last studio album Smell The Roses was released in March 2025 and was ranked #6 on the UK’s IBBA April Charts. This riff-heavy laden album has lots of Lyytinen´s mesmerizing slide and epic solos, and she is further expanding her repertoire by honouring the hard rock band sounds of 60´s and 70´s. Smell The Roses – album has received rave reviews around the globe and has lifted Lyytinen among the best modern blues rock artists of our time.

WOLFSKULL Unleash New High-Voltage Video for ‘Netherworld In Flames’

German heavy and dark rock powerhouse WOLFSKULL have released a new video for the song “Netherworld In Flames,” taken from their current album Midnite Masters, that is out on Metalapolis Records / SPV!

The track itself is a full-throttle anthem, written with the spirit of classic heavy metal in mind and executed with the band’s unmistakable bite. “Our fourth video single ‘Netherworld In Flames’ is pure adrenaline – a no-compromise banger that hits straight from the start. That’s why we paired it with a Live In The Raw video that captures our raw energy in its purest form,” says guitarist Bjørn Fehl. “When writing the song, we drew some inspiration from the vibes of classic DIO tracks like Night People or I Speed At Night, but of course with our unmistakable WOLFSKULL DNA. This track is all about fun: we want to see banging heads and raised fists in the front rows!”

The video delivers exactly that: a raw, unfiltered stage performance caught on camera, translating the band’s firepower into pure visuals. Today, the legendary band STRYPER are pleased to announce their long-awaited Christmas album, ‘The Greatest Gift of All,’ due out on November 21st via Frontiers Music Srl. To celebrate the announcement, the band also shares their new single, “Winter Wonderland,” accompanied by a lyric video, available below.

Former HADES Guitarist Ed Fuhrman Releases “The Ultimate Guitar Practice Guide” Book

Guitarist Ed Fuhrman played on HADES If At First You Don’t Succeed released in 1988 and Hades Live on Location in 1992. Ed toured both Europe and America with Hades. Fuhrman also played lead guitar on all three Metal Blade releases from 1999-2001 culminating in the band’s well received Wacken performance in 2000. Watch the video below.
