“Chronicles of Despair” is a powerful and visceral concept album that explores, track by track, the darkest tensions of the human soul and contemporary society. In a world marked by war, corruption, media manipulation, and existential crisis, the album unfolds a journey that moves from despair to inner awakening, tackling pressing themes with raw, direct, and emotionally charged language.

The journey begins with “Flask N’ Bone”, an intense narrative of self-destruction and remorse, portraying a corrupt lawyer haunted by guilt—a symbol of a conscience that finds no peace. From there, the album expands into a collective dimension with “Madness”, a denunciation of nuclear war insanity, and “Shut The Fuck Up”, a rebellious track targeting disinformation and the dominance of media power.

“Violent Fist” gives voice to the blind rage that fuels conflict, while “Visions” pulls the listener into the haunting realm of sleep paralysis—a metaphor for the unconscious fears triggered by global tension. The inner journey turns more intimate with “Memories”, a melancholic instrumental that evokes childhood recollections and lost innocence.

“Awake-4” marks a turning point: a painful awakening from nostalgia, necessary to confront harsh reality. The final chapter, “The Sleepwalker”, closes the album with a powerful allegory of insecurity and illusion, culminating in a clear and resonant message:

“Awake from the lies, pursue the good, and never surrender.”

“Chronicles of Despair” is a scream, a reflection, and a call for awareness. An emotional chronicle of the afflictions of our time, but also an invitation to inner resistance.

SLYTHER is a young thrash/crossover band hailing from Pescara, Italy, and active since 2020. Formed by musicians born between 2005 and 2007, the group delivers a direct, high-energy sound rooted in modern thrash with strong crossover influences.

Since 2022, SLYTHER has been active on the live circuit, performing at major events such as the Day 0 of Frantic Fest 2023 and sharing the stage with well-known names in the Italian underground like Game Over and Fingernails. Among their first releases is the single “Shut The Fuck Up” (July 2023), which has surpassed 10,000 streams and offers a taste of the debut album currently in the works.

ROBIN RED Shares New Single + Visualizer for ‘When Nobody’s Watching Us’

Swedish vocalist Robin Red (Degreed) is pleased share his new single and official visualizer, “When Nobody’s Watching Us”.

Along with “Don’t Leave Me (Summer Version)” and “Hammer Of The Gods”, these three unreleased tracks are available digitally now via Frontiers Music Srl.

Robin said: “In my opinion, this song is a straight up punk rock anthem. The lyrics are about two people lighting that special spark, behind closed doors, where no one else can see. It’s that forbidden love. It’s their secret. That kind of thing. Sexy stuff!”

Robin Red is Swedish singer Robin Eriksson’s alter ego. Robin is known for being one of the founding members of melodic hard rockers Degreed. Since then, he has toured all over Europe in support of seven well received studio albums from the band. Additionally, Robin also participated in the Swedish version of American Idol in 2008, finishing in the Top 10.

In 2021, Robin released his first solo album under the name Robin Red. He teamed up with Dave Dalone (H.E.A.T), as producer, guitarist and co-songwriter, to record the album.

“It’s always been a dream for me to be able to do this. Releasing my own album with the style of music that I love the most. Singing for the pure love of it. This is a dream come true for sure”, said Robin.

Today, Robin is doing his first live show ever under the name Robin Red. Together with the boys from Wildness, he will perform at Kopparbergs Festivalen in his hometown, Kopparberg, Sweden. Robin’s son Lennon will also join in for a couple of songs.

About DAVID REECE:
American singer David Reece first came to international prominence in the hard rock community joining Accept in 1987, replacing the iconic Udo Dirkschneider. With Accept he released the “Eat The Heat” album in 1989, a record that while somewhat divisive within Accepts more die-hard European fanbase, has no shortage of acclaim in equal measure from the wider hard rock and AOR community. David’s voice was a perfect fit for both the more streamlined American heavy rock direction the band wanted to pursue at the time and the Heavy Metal stylings that are still found in great abundance on the record. Thus, songs like Generation Clash and XTC fast became staples of late 80’s rock radio and fan favorites to the present day.

After departing Accept in 1990 David wasted no time in forming Bangalore Choir, a band that would showcase his immense vocal talents combined with first rate songwriting. Released via Giant Records in 1992, the bands debut album “On Target” has become an album held dear to lovers of melodic heavy rock the world over. Timing being everything, sadly the change of radio programming toward the then emerging Grunge movement halted a very promising young band from making the global impact it very well might have had if the album had arrived some years earlier.

David has gone on since to front many bands such as Bonfire, Wicked Sensation, EZ Livin’ and more recently Iron Allies, but he has always felt there was unfinished business with Bangalore Choir, revisiting the project with the occasional release….which brings us right up to date, the latest Bangalore Choir album … Its title a guarded secret at this stage. Needless to say, if you wanted more of what you loved about “On Target” this one will truly hit the mark.

VALLORCH’s New ‘Hellpath’ Live Video Ignites Ancient Myth

Vallorch continues their evolution through folk and symphonic metal with “Hellpath”, their brand-new single and official live video taken from the acclaimed album “The Circle” (out via Rockshots Records). Shot during the band’s 2025 Italian Tour at Obscene Valhalla, the performance captures Vallorch’s intense stage presence and emotional depth, directed and edited by Simone D’Addazio (@morksar) with additional camera work by Ivan Castelli (Ivan Lionsoul).

With its evocative mix of crushing riffs, folk instrumentation, and fierce, emotive vocals, “Hellpath” transforms ancient myth into a deeply personal reflection on life’s hardest questions. The track draws inspiration from the Cimbrian tale “The 99 Paths of Hell”, where a man must outwit the devil to save his soul — a tale Vallorch reimagines as a metaphor for life’s endless crossroads: regret, anxiety, identity, and the fear of being forgotten.

Lyrically and musically, the song is one of the band’s most introspective works to date. Harsh vocals embody the voice of the devil—or perhaps one’s inner demons—while solemn folk melodies evoke a dance through fire. Despite its darkness, the song offers resilience: a call to keep walking, even through flame, and to stay true to oneself in a world of uncertainty.

“Hellpath” shines as one of the most powerful moments on “The Circle“, an album that explores the many faces of the night: its solitude and celebration, its fears and freedoms. Vallorch’s unique blend of folk, symphonic, death, and power metal, along with their deep connection to Alpine mythology and Cimbrian heritage, sets them apart in the modern metal landscape.
