“Attractive Forces” is a deeply emotional and stylistic journey—a sonic time capsule filled with memories and personal reflections. Influenced by bands like Unexpect and Cynic, the track features MIDI guitars instead of real instruments and a central section that pays tribute to ’90s platform video game soundtracks, rich with fusion and electronic colors.

Waxwolf’s artistic vision is supported by two world-renowned musicians: Hannes Grossmann on drums (also serving as arranger and sound engineer) and Linus Klausenitzer on bass.
The artwork is curated by the visionary artist Helvetica Blanc.

This single is a first taste of the upcoming EP “Magic Madness Sadness”, which will feature five instrumental tracks exploring uncharted sonic and conceptual territories.

GLENN HUGHES: “Ozzy was a working class kind man”

The Metal Voice recently spoke to Singer / Bassist Glenn Hughes about his new up and coming solo album CHOSEN which will be released September 5, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Hughes also spoke about the passing of former Black Sabbath Sabbath singer and friend Ozzy Osbourne.

Glenn Hughes told The Metal Voice,” The band Black Sabbath and I have been my friends since 1970. We grew up in the same city really.  I have known those guys from the very beginning. I feel for every single person for the loss of Ozzy  but for me he was my friend. It’s very different when you lose someone close to you. Underneath all the crazy stuff on TV, he genuinely was a real kind good man.  A lot of the stuff was produced on TV and it was all funny and it was great. But underneath it all he was a very working class kind man. “

Tipped as 2025’s rock-band-to-watch, Return to Dust have released their new project Speak Like The Dead via Lava/Republic – listen to the new EP and order the ‘iridescent smoke’ vinyl HERE. The band—Matty Bielawski [guitar, vocals], Graham Stanush [bass, vocals], Sebastian Gonzalez [guitar], and London Hudson [drums]—recorded the project with frequent collaborator and producer Jim Kaufman out of his L.A. studio.

2024 saw the band unveil their independent self-titled full-length debut, Return To Dust, including standout single “Belly Up” which rose through the Active Rock chart and was praised by Distorted Sound as “a grungy, punky thrill ride,” while Revolver applauded the group’s “Alice In Chains-inspired form of modern-day grunge.”

Just this year, Return to Dust toured alongside Billy Corgan and The Machines of God, Pop Evil, and Dorothy. . In August they will tour alongside Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace with festival performances at Louder Than Life, Aftershock and more. International black metal band GJALLARHORN’S WRATH unveiled “A Silent Scream” – the second single taken from their haunting debut album “The Silver Key” to be released on September 5th, 2025 via Non Serviam Records.
 
The band state: “‘A Silent Scream’ is the second single from Gjallarhorn’s Wrath’s upcoming album ‘The Silver Key’. Rising pop rock trailblazers ALLBROOK STATION have officially released their bold new single, “SHARPSHOOTER,” available now on all streaming platforms via SAMSA/Create Music Group. The explosive track is from the band’s highly anticipated album All We Have Is Pain, set for release in 2026.

“I wrote ‘Sharpshooter’ at a point where I was finally done romanticizing a relationship that had already done enough damage. There’s that phase after a breakup where you start questioning everything—did I mess up, do they miss me, should I have fought harder? This song came after all that. It’s when the fog clears and you realize, “Wait, no. I actually don’t miss you anymore,” shares Burke Louis.

He adds, “By the time I finished this song, I didn’t care who they were with now or what version of themselves they were trying to be. It was like—cool, go be someone else’s problem. I wasn’t gonna reload, rewind, or relive any of it. ‘Sharpshooter’ is just me finally saying—you weren’t worth my time then, you’re certainly not worth my future now.”

“SHARPSHOOTER” showcases ALLBROOK STATION’s signature genre-blurring sound, blending pop sensibilities with high-octane rock energy and emotionally-charged lyricism. The track sets a fiery tone for what fans can expect from the band’s upcoming full-length release.

Allbrook Station is a genre-bending pop rock band from Salt Lake City known for their explosive live shows, anthemic hooks, and cinematic production. Legendary rock pianist/keyboardist and longtime Guns N’ Roses member Dizzy F’n Reed has just dropped his brand-new single, “Earn It 2 Burn It,” via 50q records. The track is the third single off his upcoming full length solo album Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me, which will see its physical vinyl release on August 22, 2025, with the digital full-length album release following on September 5, 2025.

Dizzy shares, “The song is about working our asses off and never actually seeing any money at all. And starting off our lives with incomprehensible debt from the cost of our education to do something else altogether while being pummeled with information about what we should like, want and need. The music was born from my love of metal and my hero John Lord. Thank you Johnny Kelly, Mike Duda and Jason for making it like it needed to be.”

He was inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012 as a member of G N’ R, and fronts side project Hookers and Blow on lead vocals and keys.
