WitcheR’s history started back in 2010. The band was formed by Gere Karola (synths, vocal) and Neubauer Roland (guitars, drums, vocal) in order to perform atmospheric black metal music based on classical music elements and strong synths harmonies, following such bands’ heritage as Summoning or early Dimmu Borgir.
From the very beginning, catchy melodies and elevated mood took important parts in the music. The lyrics are mostly about witchcraft, Hungarian folklore, adherence to old values, and the maximum opposition to the modern world.
In the past years, next to several demos, split albums, full-length albums were born under the band’s flag (“Csendes domb” (2015); “A gyertyák csonkig égnek” (2019), “Lélekharang” (2022), “Boszorkányszimfóniák” (2024)), and a new dimension for WitcheR was opened in many aspects.
The witches of atmospheric black metal have returned: the Hungarian band WitcheR unveil their brand-new music video from the forthcoming fourth full-length album!
Inspired by mysticism, magic, and the timelessness of spiritual heritage, the track “Örökség” pays homage to legendary acts such as Summoning, early Dimmu Borgir, and Wolves in the Throne Room.
“We wanted to transport the listener into a world where music is not only heard, but also seen and deeply felt!” – WitcheR said.
Music for upcoming album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Vrag at Forest Studio in 2023-2025. All music and lyrics written by WitcheR, expect Piano Trio No. 2 – Andante con moto (by Franz Schubert). Cover artwork was done by Grafit & Hamu Artworks.
The new song serves as a prelude to the band’s upcoming album “Öröklét”, set for release on November 4, 2025. The record will be available on CD and cassette via Filosofem Records (pre-order) and on vinyl via Beveria Productions (pre-order).

When these distinctly dark souls, KRATON, released their second album in 2024, with the programmatic title “Monolith” to a humanity that had once again become overly decadent, their elegiac, engulfing POST-DOOM METAL was met with a multitude of equally intense reactions.
Now KRATON are following up with their brand new single “Spiritualité Sombre”, which adds another layer of darkness to the abysmal granite-saw sound of the five-piece band from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
• Directed, filmed & edited by Yannick Kohl • Video production by Kraton & Martine Ludwig • Filmed at Espace H2O in Oberkorn • Music recorded, mixed and mastered by Tom Gatti at Unison Studios
LYRICS It only hurts when I breathe What good is a voice when there are no words I speak into the silence To bridge unbearable distance
Tell me about the light For I know nothing about it Tell me about the light It speaks in tongues I cannot follow
Farewell But I am far from being well My words dissolve like smoke And I will disappear with them
You said you missed the fire While I was burning bright You said you missed the fire While I was burning out
KRATON reveal: “With ‘Spiritualité Sombre‘, we open a door to a world of shadows, spirituality, and cathartic force. The song unfolds like a ritual – rising slowly, layer by layer, dark and depressing, carried by heavy riffs and deep soundscapes. A harmonious, calm middle section briefly opens up a moment of pause before the piece culminates in a brutal finale that uncompromisingly tears everything down.
The video, produced by the band in collaboration with Martine Ludwig and visually realized with camera and editing by Yannick Kohl, translates this essence into powerful, sparsely lit images. Symbolic scenes unfold in the darkness, oscillating between decay and transcendence – a balancing act between despair and elevation.
In doing so, we create not just a music video, but an audiovisual experience that draws the listener into the depths of existential emotions. ‘Spiritualité Sombre‘ is a manifesto of modern doom – painful, sublime, and uncompromising.”
Founded in 2011, KRATON channel raw emotions through a sonic blend of Post, Doom, and Extreme Metal influences. The lyrics deal with the dark aspects of human existence, marked by the constant hardships of (inter)human life. The consistent five-piece has already played with many local and international bands on small and large stages … [ … learn more here ]

Alternative metal band ODC are pleased to share their new single, “Twisted Love”, title track of the upcoming album, out on October 31, 2025, via BLKIIBLK.
With “Twisted Love”, ODC deliver a bold crossover between modern rock, metalcore intensity, and rap flow. The track combines crushing 8-string riffs and infectious grooves with the striking vocal interplay of bassist/rapper Sonny’s razor-sharp verses and frontwoman Célia’s soaring melodic hooks. This dual energy makes the single both powerful and accessible, pushing the boundaries of today’s modern rock and metal.
Vocalist Célia Do described the track by saying: “Twisted Love” is about contradictions – attraction and destruction, sweetness and brutality. At the same time, it’s also the track that defines us best as a band. It captures our mindset: we don’t believe in rules or boxes, because ODC was never meant to fit in one”.
With its polished production and fearless genre-blending, “Twisted Love” brings ODC’s bold vision of modern alternative metal to life. The band’s motto, “Forget rules, forget boxes”, perfectly sums up this hybrid and liberated debut.
Commenting on the album, the band stated: “With “Twisted Love”, we wanted to show that metal can be both powerful and elegant – emotional, modern, and unafraid to break the rules. This album is about pushing boundaries by blending genres and influences while staying true to who we are: delivering heavy music that moves both body and soul”.
“Lyrically, “Twisted Love” explores the breaking points of human connection but also carries a message of hope: accepting our shadows to heal and rebuild. It’s for anyone drawn to heavy music that refuses to fit into categories”, they continued.
ODC is the soundtrack of a hybrid generation. A sonic uppercut, balancing raw power and elegance.
Born in Paris in 2017, ODC is the result of two worlds coming together: the world of Celia Do, a vocalist with a striking identity, and that of a composer driven by the same fire – the desire to create an alternative metal project that breaks free from conventions: bold, modern, and uncompromising. From this spark, a true sonic and visual odyssey emerged.
ODC – named after Celia’s stage name acronym – became a totally creative space, where heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and contemporary electronic textures collide in a unique blend of raw energy and polished aesthetic. ODC is a bold blend of metal, modern rock and immersive electronic atmospheres.
Inspired by artists such as Devin Townsend, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park and BMTH, ODC doesn’t fit in any box. The band asserts its own voice — powerful, hybrid, sharp and emotional. Their songs are modern mantras, telling stories of freedom, downfall, and resilience. Music that hits hard — and hits deep. A constant dialogue between introspection and explosion.
The band is built around four distinct artistic personalities: Celia Do (lead singer, founder and producer, the rock frontwoman of the band), Sonny, a.k.a. MX MNK (a bassist with roots in hardcore and black metal, and a rapper with visceral energy). Then, Raphaël (an 8-string guitarist blending classic rock, hard rock, and atmospheric textures), and Hector (a drummer forged in the death metal scene, delivering explosive rhythmic power).
After a well-received debut EP in 2019 (“Ending The Boredom”), ODC carved their path through a series of powerful singles between 2020 and 2023, asserting their hybrid identity and ability to break genre boundaries. In 2024, the project took a major leap forward: writing their first full-length album, produced in Nashville by Kellen McGregor (Memphis May Fire).
“Twisted Love” Tracklist:
1. My Only Fan (Feat. SUN) 2. Love, I Tore It Apart 3. Twisted Love 4. Follower (Feat. SUN) 5. The Beauty Of The Beast 6. My Name Is Gold 7. I Need To Breathe 8. If I’d Tried 9. Raise Your Hands Up 10. Despechá (Rosalía Cover)

Edmonton instrumental rock guitarist Jon Harris has unveiled the playthrough video for If You Wouldn’t, from his album Parallel Heart (Epictronic). With every note, he pulls you deeper into his world, where soulful riffs, graceful solos, and rich guitar and keyboard layers create a sound that is both intimate and vast.
“‘If You Wouldn’t’ started as a test riff for my new Telecaster. I bought the guitar for recording the album and absolutely fell in love with it,” stated Jon. “A friend of mine asked what my new Telecaster sounded like, so I quickly kicked out this riff, thinking not much of it. Next thing I knew it was 3am and my wife was asking me to come to bed. A few weeks later we had an opener for the album. There’s a kind of emotional depth in the track that even I have a hard time putting into words. I spent a lot of time trying to rewrite parts of it later, but nothing ever felt as honest as that first version. What you hear on the record is exactly how it needed to be.”
The album is a vivid showcase of Harris’s multi-instrumental skills and compositional vision. While completely instrumental, Parallel Heart conveys stories of tension and release, exploring the space between connection and chaos, creative ambition and everyday demands. From the pulsing energy of Togetherness to the shimmering retro feel of 97BPM, each track builds its own emotional narrative. Harris, who performed guitar, drums, bass, piano, and production on the record, proves himself not only a guitarist to watch but a full-scale sonic architect. His sound bridges blues-soaked rock, synth-driven textures, and funk grooves with cinematic flair — think Jeff Beck meets Prince with a modern rock edge.
LACUNA COIL have released a brand-new lyric video for “In Nomine Patris”, taken from their latest album “Sleepless Empire.” Created by 12Inch Media, the video brings to life the striking artwork of Roberto Toderico, capturing the song’s themes of fear, faith, and facing forces larger than ourselves.
Vocalist Andrea Ferro explains: “It’s a song about confronting what feels sacred and overwhelming, things we think we’re not ready to face. Day by day, step by step… it takes time to build an empire.”
Following this release, Lacuna Coil are set for a massive run of international shows, closing 2025 with a packed European and festival schedule, before returning to the Middle East, Australia, and Asia in early 2026.
