Today, esteemed rock vocalist and guitarist MIKE TRAMP is pleased to announce the release of his new album, ‘Songs of White Lion — Vol. III,’ due out on September 19th via Frontiers Music Srl. To celebrate the announcement, the lead single “Cherokee” is out now, accompanied by a music video, available below.

Mike comments on the track:

“Revisiting ‘Cherokee,’ one of the first songs Vito Bratta and I wrote in 1983, was so amazing, I always loved that song, and the new version only confirms what a great song it still is.”

MIKE TRAMP, the unmistakable voice and principal songwriter of White Lion, concludes his heartfelt trilogy with ‘Songs of White Lion — Vol. III,’  a powerful and deeply personal tribute to one of the most iconic bands of the 1980s melodic hard rock scene.

Tramp speaks on how this series of recordings came together:

“For me, the point of re-recording the old classic White Lion songs was all about letting the audience know HOW the band would sound if they come to see us live. Bringing the sound up today and away from a world no more. When I started with ‘Vol. I’ I must admit, I never thought I’d do ‘Vol. II’ and now ‘Vol. III.’ But having done it all now, makes all the more sense to me. If I have to be active playing White Lion in 2025 and onward, there’s got to be a natural progression in every way. That is exactly what this Trilogy is all about.

In this final installment, TRAMP revisits and reimagines ten more essential songs from the White Lion catalog, bringing them back to life with the passion, perspective, and authenticity that only decades of experience can deliver.

Once again backed by his trusted bandmates — Marcus Nand (guitar), Claus Langeskov (bass), and Morten Hellborn(drums) — TRAMP offers fresh but respectful renditions of these classic tracks, capturing their spirit while elevating them with a more refined, seasoned sound.

From the raw defiance of “Fight To Survive,” to the cinematic power of “Warsong,” and the infectious rhythm of “Radar Love,” this album is both a celebration and a reawakening.

Standing as more than a simple re-recording project, ‘Songs of White Lion — Vol. III’ is the emotional conclusion of a trilogy — a journey through time, memory, and music that connects the past to the present with integrity and fire.

This is not just a tribute, it’s MIKE TRAMP reclaiming and honoring his legacy.

OF MICE AND MEN to Release New Album “Another Miracle” on November 14th, New Single ‘Wake Up’ Out Now

Few modern rock bands balance raw intimacy and explosive power like Of Mice & Men. Today, the Southern California quartet announces their ninth studio album, Another Miracle, out November 14 via Century Media Records.

Written, produced, and engineered entirely by the band, Another Miracle finds Of Mice & Men at their most personal—and most expansive. Frontman Aaron Pauley also mixed and mastered the album himself, eschewing the hiring of a big name producer for a more personal and intimate approach to their art. As a legion of devoted listeners worldwide has come to expect, the band poured their hearts into every note, creating a powerful reflection of their lived experiences.

Of Mice & Men say, ”we’re excited to be sharing our new album, Another Miracle, with you all. It’s been a long time in the making, and the cumulation of countless hours of collaboration and hard work. We hope that our fans, old and new, will really enjoy it since we’ve not only raised the bar on the melodic side, we’ve also doubled down on the heaviness all over the album and made what we feel is an incredibly strong and authentic representation of who Of Mice & Men is in 2025.  We want to thank our fans for the years of support. We’re incredibly proud of Another Miracle, and we hope you enjoy the album as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.”

Today OM&M also drop the album’s newest single, “Wake Up,” which captures the album’s spirit of fearless experimentation. It’s one of those rare moments where the “x factor” revealed itself early, channeling the urgency, vulnerability, and creative spark that drives Another Miracle from start to finish. The band says, “With ‘Wake Up’ we specifically aimed to pair the more delicate & almost shoegazey sounds of 90’s alternative acoustic classics with a sonically modern & heavier Of Mice & Men approach. Lyrically, it’s a call to consciousness and presence while juxtaposing the imperative to live in the here and now with dreamlike metaphoric imagery.” They once again teamed with director MIke Matsui for the video and further note, “Is this a music video or a transcendental experience?! We may never know, but visionary director Mike Matsui really brought out the divine majesty with this one.  We shot the video at an awesome location in San Francisco and Mike and his team were really able to capture the dreamlike aesthetic of the song. Also, we don’t think anyone’s ever played a breakdown in that church before, so we’re  pretty sure we made history!”

Listen/share “Wake Up” here and watch the video here.

Fans can pre-order Another Miracle vinyl and merch bundles or pre-save on their favorite DSP here.

Earlier this year Of Mice & Men released Another Miracle’s title track which marked their first new music since 2023’s Tether and their first since signing to new label Century Media Records. The band are playing songs off the upcoming album as well as fan favorites this summer at festival appearances including Summer Daze Festival in Elko, NV, Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA and Orlando, FL, and Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY.  They will also embark on a headline run in The UK and European run with dates kicking off November 27 and concluding December 14.  North American headline dates will be announced soon.  All shows are listed below and tickets are available at ofmicetickets.com.

Fans can now check in with Micespace, a new online community launched by Of Mice & Men. The band will be sharing unreleased music and demos, behind-the-scenes footage from all nine album eras, early access to tour tickets, and tons of exclusive content and fan perks.

Since their debut in 2010, gold-awarded Of Mice & Men have built a devoted global fanbase through relentless touring, powerful live shows, and a string of acclaimed albums. The band’s core lineup—Aaron Pauley, Phil Manansala, Alan Ashby, and Tino Arteaga—has remained solid since 2016, fostering a deep creative chemistry. Their music frequently explores themes of resilience, mental health, and human connection, striking a deep chord with listeners. With numerous charting singles, award wins, and the new partnership with Century Media Records, Of Mice & Men continue to evolve while staying rooted in the authenticity that defines their sound.

PARADISE LOST Reveal New Single And Video ‘Serpent On The Cross’

Icons of goth and doom, PARADISE LOST have revealed the second single, ‘Serpent on the Cross,’ from their long-awaited, 17th album Ascension that’s out September 19th from Nuclear Blast Records.

Commenting on the song, vocalist Nick Holmes says:
“The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away.”

Pre-order Ascension: https://paradiselost.bfan.link/ascension

PARADISE LOST’s first album in 5 years, following 2020’s critically acclaimed Obsidian, was produced by guitarist Gregor Mackintosh and mixed/mastered by Lawrence Mackrory. Ascension is a testament to the band’s longevity and relevance over their 35+ year career, encompassing their signature styles of gothic, death and doom fans have cherished along the way.

Ascension’s album cover fittingly features the painting The Court of Death (1870-1902) by renowned British artist George Frederic Watts, which hangs in the Tate Gallery in London. The painting depicts Death as an enthroned angel flanked by allegorical figures of Silence and Mystery guarding sunrise and the star of hope, while a warrior surrenders his sword and a duke his coronet, showing that worldly status offers no protection. The painting’s bleak, prophetic vision embodies Ascension’s dark, tormented soundscapes as mournful verses collide with dire, foreboding riffs.

Commenting on the record, Holmes states:
“Ascension is a cavalcade of molten misery, a vigorous sorrow filled stroll through a wicked world of glorious triumph and pitiful tragedy.”

PARADISE LOST are currently performing at festivals across Europe and will embark on the first leg of the “Ascension of Europe” tour this fall. Tickets are available at https://paradiselost.co.uk/tour-dates/.

Eivør’s home, the Faroe Islands, is a small island country in the North Atlantic, which was populated by Scandinavians in the Viking Age. It is a land of extremes, full of contrasts, with heavy, dark winters, and bright, joyful summers. Eivøris deeply inspired by the unique Faroese landscape and its vibrant traditional folk music. Despite centuries of foreign rule, the Faroese folk culture has persevered, especially through communal singing and dancing. This cultural resilience in the face of a harsh nature and foreign dominance strongly informs Eivør’s music: “A very strong part of Faroese culture is singing together—anywhere people gather, there will be singing,” Eivør explains. “When you listen to old Faroese traditional music, it’s sung acapella and takes you back to its Renaissance roots. It’s pure, expressive, and untamed.”

Eivør has cultivated her distinct guttural singing technique under inspiration from beatboxing, throat-singing, and heavy metal growling to convey the untamed expressiveness inherent to traditional Faroese music and culture. It is a primal call to return to her roots in natural landscape of her birthplace.

Often considered to be one of the most prolific and unique Nordic artists of her generation, Eivør has released 11 studio albums to date, crossing musical genres and always pushing the bounds of the expected. Presented with two Icelandic Music Awards for her sophomore album and the Nordic Council Music Price in 2021, Eivør’s musical journey continues to fascinate.

Eivør is happy to be embraced by the metal community. She identifies a shared pagan sensibility in her television scores like The Last Kingdom. “I never felt I really fit into any box,” said Eivør. “I just have to do it my own way.”

LIV SIN Release New Single + Video ‘Run’ from Forthcoming Album

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: LIV SIN. Leave a comment

Swedish modern metal force LIV SIN have released their second single, ‘Run’, from forthcoming album, Close Your Eyes, due out 8th August via Seek & Strike. Inspired by the chilling true story of a Mexican cult, ‘Run’ channels its dark narrative into a fierce, adrenaline fuelled metal assault.

Fronted by the formidable Liv Jagrell (ex-Sister Sin), LIV SIN fuse aggressive riff-heavy intensity with soaring melodies, steadily forging their path on the global metal scene.

Pre-save the album here: https://orcd.co/livsincye

LIV SIN comments: “For this song, the word run kept popping back into my head, so I immediately started to write around that word. At that time, I (Liv) listened a lot to a podcast about different cults and I got inspired by a Mexican cult led by Silvia Meraz. She got arrested in 2012 for killing three people in her neighborhood, some of them only kids, as a human sacrifice to Santa Muerte. It is so hard to imagine how anyone can do such a horrible thing, but it does make a good story for a song. The riff and drum ideas started out from inspiration of a stompy and solid Rammstein groove, making it sound massive and groovy, so people want to jump around to it.

“The video for this song is a stylish performance clip with quick editing that hopefully induces a stressful feeling invoking a need to get up and RUN! We hope you enjoy it.”

A dynamic five-piece born from the ashes of Sister Sin, LIV SIN deliver a sound steeped in modern metal, melodic hooks and uncompromising intensity. Since their formation, the band has built a reputation for soul-stirring live shows and an authentic connection with fans.

Alongside Liv Jagrell (vocals) are Per Bjevoluk (drums), Daniel Skoglund (bass), Sonny Larsson (lead guitar) and Ante Mäkelä (rhythm guitar), each bringing unique musical influences and personal passions to the table, from painting and folk music to animal rescue, yoga and music education. Their collective energy is channeled into creating cathartic anthems for a global audience.

Rooted deeply in Swedish culture, several members of LIV SIN are dedicated to preserving the nation’s rich tradition of folk music, community art and craftsmanship. Sonny is an accomplished folk guitarist and painter, while Ante works in cultural education, championing the music and arts institutions that have helped define “the Swedish music wonder”. Their love for traditional sounds and storytelling often seeps into their songwriting and creative aesthetic.

The upcoming album began to reveal its dark heart last month with the release of the powerful title track, ‘Close Your Eyes’.  Confronting the grim realities of human trafficking, the track features a striking guest vocal performance from Lars Palmqvist of Scar Symmetry. Mixed by acclaimed producer Tue Madsen (Babymetal, Meshuggah), the album promises a heavy, unflinching sonic journey. Watch the video for ‘Close Your Eyes’ here.

Driven by purpose and powered by riffs, LIV SIN are not only forging new paths in heavy music, they’re carrying pieces of Sweden’s cultural soul with them along the way.

Track-list:
1. Praise The Winners
2. Run
3. Close Your Eyes
4. Louder
5. It’s Not Your Life
6. Above The Line
7. The Shadow March
8. Shades Of The Sun
9. Raven
10. I Refuse
11. The Mask
12. Hold It Together
