Italian action rockers MAD DOGS are further fueling excitement for their upcoming album “The Future Is Now“, set to be released on September 5 via Go Down Records. Following the electrifying single releases of “No More Lies” and “Black Sheep“, MAD DOGS are now dropping the official music video for the album’s title track.

The video, directed by Valentina Lucahe, is now available for streaming here:

Says the band: “The title track encapsulates the album’s concept – No time to waste again, no space to leave blank, it’s an opportunity, don’t wait! The future is now! We aimed to convey a message about experiencing life to the fullest, free of regrets, through the energetic sound of the music. It is both incisive and melodic, blending the fierce spirit of Scandinavian High-energy Rock ‘n’ Roll with the raw edge of Australian Proto-punk progressions. Let your passions ignite, and never let them fade away!“

Tracklist:

  1. The Future Is Now
  2. Go Ahead (Don’t Give Up)
  3. It’s Not Late Tonight
  4. Stoker
  5. Black Sheep
  6. No Way To Come Back
  7. Don’t Bend Over
  8. Nothing To Lose
  9. Be Your Number
  10. No More Lies
  11. Switch Up My Time

Set for release on September 5, MAD DOGS’ new album, “The Future Is Now”, is a high-voltage blast – a rock’n’roll manifesto forged from a raw fusion of Garage Rock, Action Rock, and Proto-punk. It’s a bold and intentional work where searing guitars, the thunderous rhythm section, and catchy melodies collide across eleven adrenaline-fueled tracks that channel the band’s unmistakable grit, passion, and defiant spirit. The cover art – a ‘cosmic valve’ vision that straddles retro-futurism and 60s pulp art – visually echoes the sonic detonation within. The Future Is Nowisn’t just a title; it’s a declaration – a rallying cry to live unapologetically, seize the moment, and shape your identity on your own terms.

“The Future Is Now” will be coming out via Go Down Records and is available for pre-order at
THIS LOCATION. Digital pre-save is available HERE

PETROLBREATH Release New Single ‘Tallboy’

Photographer: Tero Tarvainen

Petrolbreath is a power trio from East Vantaa, embarking on their journey to the core of rock ‘n’ roll in 2019. The band consists of bassist-vocalist Joni Tammenpää, guitarist Ville Panhelainen, and drummer Tuomas Patanen. Drawing influence from 1980s hard rock and heavy metal bands, the sound of Motörhead in particular echoes strongly in their music.

The track leans on heavy riffing, an organic sound, and an unapologetic attitude — just the way it’s meant to be.

Tallboy is part of a fully analog recording session, captured under the guidance of Anssi Kippo at Astia Studio in February 2025. The track’s gritty and vibrant sound is the result of reel-to-reel tape and handcrafted production — music that breathes.

“Tallboy is a manifesto of confidence. It doesn’t make excuses — it stands on its own and looks you straight in the eye.” — Petrolbreath

BABYLON A.D. Sign with Kivel Records for Release of New Album “When The World Stops”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 11, 2025

BABYLON A.D. isn’t sitting back on the success of their last album “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day”, they spent early 2025 in the studio recording their follow up album WHEN THE WORLD STOPS and are now excited to announce they signed a deal with Kivel Records for the release of the new album before the end of 2025.

Derek Davis, lead singer, spoke about the new album and signing with Kivel Records, “We are so excited about this release, WHEN THE WORLD STOPS! This album is gonna blow peoples minds, there are so many different types of Babylon A.D. songs on this one and signing with Kivel Records we think is going to help us with the promotion structure and backing that we need for the album. The excitement and professionalism that the owner John Kivel has shown us, along with his belief in the band really sold us on signing with his label.  Our last album “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day” really helped put the band back on the map. All the fan support, radio play and reviews we received from the album were so amazing. It really feels good to know… We Are Truly Back!

The first Single/Video “When The World Stops’ will be released the first week of August in conjunction with our first show at the “Whisky A Go Go” on August 8th! We then play a couple shows the following weekend in Denver and Salt Lake City and the band is very exited to take our Power of Music to the U.K and Greece in September.

The band is firing on all cylinders and we can’t wait to share this album on the road and the shows we have lined up this year are gonna be a blast for the band and the fans.”

John Kivel, President of Kivel Records, “I couldn’t be happier with this marriage of band and label. We have always prided ourselves here as being fans of the genre first and foremost. BABYLON A.D. has been a  favorite band of mine since day 01.  In fact, sometimes things are just meant to be. Back in the day as a young photographer, I photographed the band on tour. Years later, some of those  photos made it into the bands first live cd. Years (decades!) later we are working together. How serendipitous if you ask me.

With that said, we couldn’t be more excited, as this album is a call to arms for the band and will certainly please fans of the band’s  unique sound. A perfect blend of the first album and the more recent “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day”.  A band that has walked a fine line of balance between maintaining their signature sound while expanding on it. However, not becoming something they are not. Undoubtedly no easy task, but most definitely a fantastic reward of music.

BABYLON A.D. is a welcome addition to the Kivel Records family.  We are planning to accomplish a lot together, and we have no plans of slowing down.  Well, not until…  “The World Stops””

Praise for the Babylon A.D. last album “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day”:

“All these years later they still “Bang The Bells”. – Max Volume / 105.7 KOZZ Reno’s Classic Rock

“Derek Davis and his Babylonians deliver the cornerstone of their catalog. Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day is a gem-riddled roof of songs that sits firmly atop the Babylon A.D. empire that has been under construction for more than three decades.” – Scott Itter Dr. Music/All Music Magazine

“The new Babylon A.D. album… might just be the comeback that 80’s Rock fans have been waiting for… If you love 80’s Hard Rock this is an essential purchase.” – The Rock Pit

Babylon A.D. is excited to bring the WHEN THE WORLD STOPS tour to Europe this September.

THE COSMIK DEBRIS BAND is a project born in Dublin, the Irish city where Mauro Angeletta, the Italian mastermind behind the band, has been living for years. The band, founded by guitarist Angeletta and harmonicist Arthur Guillon, brings together a lineup of skilled and experienced professional musicians under one name. Just a few weeks ago, they announced their signing with Volcano Records, officially kicking off the collaboration today with the release of ‘Living On A Dying Planet’, now available on all digital platforms.

The track blends diverse influences with style and personality, drawing from classic rock giants like Thin Lizzy and progressive legends like Rush, while also venturing into the psychedelic realms of Pink Floyd, with subtle nods to icons like Bowie and Zappa. Living On A Dying Planet is the opening track of an upcoming concept album titled Tales From The Moon, a musical narrative chronicling the adventures of Will Fargo and his journey to save humankind as it flees a ravaged Earth where nature and community have been annihilated by unchecked technological advancement and extreme industrial pollution.

Iranian AMIN & TARA Dive Into the Obsessive Loop of Perfectionism on Debut Single ‘Hole’ (Feat. Meshcut)

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 11, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: AMIN & TARA. Leave a comment

Based in Tehran, Amin & Tara make an eerie entrance into the experimental industrial scene with their debut single, “Hole.” Featuring Meshcut, the track captures the invisible trap of effort and expectation. The relentless pursuit of achieving enough.

Stream/Download the song here: https://fanlink.tv/at-hole

“It’s not failure that haunts you,” the artists explain, “but the impossibility of ever arriving at enough. Like a silent hunter, the hole waits for the moment your foot slips and forces you to start over relentlessly.”

Opening with a repetitive beat and the robotic chant “do it again,” “Hole” immediately immerses listeners in an anxious mindscape based around overachievement. The monotony of the song mirrors a high-speed work session that is driven, mechanical, and subtly self-destructive. As the song unfolds, this mechanical surface cracks. It reveals emotional vulnerability beneath. A noticeable shift occurs, it’s as if reasoned awareness pushes back against the perfectionist mindset. It’s the sound of consciousness healing itself.
Amin & Tara showcase genre-blending sophistication in this track. Rooted in electronic and industrial textures, “Hole” also incorporates elements of alternative rock, building an atmosphere that is both hypnotic as well as unsettling. With “Hole”, Amin & Tara don’t just start out, they make an explosive entrance into the experimental scene, declaring themselves artists willing to go to dark, obsessive depths to shine light on the human condition.

Amin & Tara bio:

Amin & Tara is a collaborative and independent project by longtime creative partners Tara and Amin. After years of playing in different bands—Tara as a drummer, Amin as a guitarist—they began developing their own solo work. Eventually, they decided to merge their visions into a single shared project, officially formed in 2024 in Tehran, Iran.

The inspiration behind their music comes from raw, personal experiences—daily life, emotional exhaustion, darkness, and resistance. Their sound is experimental and unbound, moving fluidly between industrial, alternative rock, and electronic. There are no rules, no fixed genres, no language limitations. Each track is built on instinct, emotion, and the unique story it needs to tell.

They chose to release music under their own names—Amin & Tara—to preserve the honesty and purity at the core of their work. The project is open to collaborations with vocalists, musicians, or producers, but Tara and Amin remain the core creative force, joined by Nima Ramezan as co-producer.

Amin & Tara is not just a music project—it’s a multidisciplinary artistic platform. While rooted in sound, the project extends far beyond audio into visual storytelling, fashion, performance, choreography, and design.

Rather than fitting into an existing genre or style, Amin & Tara explores raw experience through whatever medium feels necessary—whether it’s a track, a garment, a photograph, or a live performance. The goal is not to create music alone, but to build an entire world around it.
