Celebrating their 30th anniversary, Thuringian extreme metal titans EISREGEN are bringing back their most infamous and cult-followed release. The band’s second full-length now re-emerges in a deluxe Digipak double CD and for the very first time on limited double vinyl LP, including rare live bonus recordings from WGT 2000.

With past albums storming the German Top 10 charts, EISREGEN have proven their unshakable cult status across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through relentless touring and unforgettable live shows.

This 2025 edition includes a reimagined version of one of Eisregen’s most notorious tracks: “Futter für die Schweine – Rezept 2025” – still 100% Eisregen, but this time vegan and politically correct, crafted with the band’s trademark dark humor.
 
Today EISREGEN release a music video for the title track “Krebskolonie”, breathing new life into one of the most iconic songs of German extreme metal. Expect grim atmospheres, haunting visuals, and the unmistakable Thuringian darkness that only Eisregen can conjure.

“Krebskolonie” has been brought back to life with the help of some of the most renowned names in German metal production. The album was produced by Andy Classen at Studio 1 / Bühne, whose long-standing collaboration with EISREGEN has shaped the band’s unmistakable sound. Classen also handled mixing and mastering together with the band, ensuring that every track retained its raw intensity while achieving a powerful modern edge.
 
For this reissue, the material was carefully remastered by Markus Stock at the legendary Klangschmiede Studio E, giving the cult record a new sonic brilliance while staying true to its dark essence.
 
The striking visual concept was created by Svartir Andar Graphix, providing a cover artwork which perfectly captures the atmosphere of “Krebskolonie” – grim, haunting, and timeless.
 
“Krebskolonie” is not just an album – it’s a cornerstone of German extreme metal history. With its long-awaited reissue, EISREGEN reclaims their throne and delivers the definitive edition of a cult masterpiece.

Wendy Dio, David Ellefson, and other music industry icons are all joining forces on a new Metal Hall of Fame (MHOF), Board of Directors. This marks a powerful new chapter in the nonprofit’s mission to honor and preserve the legacy of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal music, and to expand its global recognition even further.

Launched in 2016 by studio/touring drummer Pat Gesualdo the MHOF has become the ultimate institution celebrating the musicians, industry leaders, and cultural pioneers of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, whose contributions have defined generations of fans worldwide. Now, with the expanded Board of Directors, the Hall is poised to elevate its presence with larger events, expanded outreach, and more opportunities for global fan engagement.

The Hall’s expanded team unites an extraordinary lineup of music executives, artists, and innovators, Including:

  • Michael Sarna – Inmotion Entertainment Inc.
  • George Johnsen – MammothVision Studio

Current and near future projects will continue as part of the MHOF. This includes the Metal Across America Tour, featuring one-of-a-kind exhibits from Iron Maiden, Ronnie James Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Deep Purple, original Album Cover Artwork, the Metal Hall of Fame Tour Bus and much more. It is held at various festivals, concerts, and community events, throughout the U.S.

The tour also includes an outreach partnership with Monster Energy Supercross, which draws an average of 50,000 fans with major television coverage per race at major sports stadiums throughout the U.S. The exhibit appears at select stadiums during racing season.

Near future projects include the Metal Hall of Fame All Star Band, with fan favorite musicians, and the MHOF Podcast. The 10th Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala will be Hosted by Eddie Trunk and entertainment personality Cathy Rankin and will take place January 2026 in Anaheim California.

Elettra Storm has released a video for “Blue Phoenix”, first single taken from the new album “Evertale” to be released on October 24 by Scarlet Records.

One of the most aggressive track of the album that explodes in a powerful chorus and in epic guitar solos and leads, it’s a tale of revenge and rebirth: like the phoenix every man can rise from his own ashes. It doesn’t matter all the pain, the betrayals, the wounds that the world inflicts to you, you can always find a way to get your life back on track, if you are able to keep your inner flame alive, the spark at the core of your soul that gives you strength and purpose.

Elettra Storm took the power metal scene by… storm with the flawless 2024’s debut album “Powerlords”. Now they made a huge step forward, though, and the sound of “Evertale” is even more defined and cohesive.

Every band’s member had the chance to get the spotlight with his own style and personality, and the songs are more technical: some carry a proggy flavor, some other bring on the table the fury of speed power metal – but all of them are direct and catchy at the same time, with soaring melodies that will linger in the brain since the first spin and another stellar performance by charismatic frontwoman Crystal Emiliani.

RHYGOR Release Second Song ‘I’m Going Home’ from Upcoming EP

RHYGOR is a band from Olsztyn, formed in the autumn of 2024 by Grzegorz (guitar), Michał (drums) and Olgierd (vocals). Their music is a real conglomerate, oscillating around broadly understood progressive music (Tool, Soen, Leprous) with groove metal in the style of Pantera and Lamb Of God, aggression of Slipknot and elements of post-metal.

After revealing the first musical foretaste (“Relics” single)  of their debut release, the “Faded Relics” EP, it’s time for a new song!

At the turn of March and April 2025, the band recorded their first EP with three songs. When recording the material, the band worked with:

  • drums & guitars recorded by Michał Grabowski who is known from cooperation with such great bands as Christ Agony,Thy Worshiper and Towards Hellfire,
  • vocals recorded by Robert Wawro, who in the past cooperated with Asgaard and Exlibris.

All was mixed and mastered by Robert Wawro. The graphic design of the release and the logo design were entrusted to the famous graphic artist and musician Paweł “Miodek” Mioduchowski (Dopelord, Hydra, Taxi Caveman).

Band comments new single: “I’m Going Home is a story from the perspective of a mentally ill person who must grapple with fear, anxiety, and depression. From her perspective, a psychiatric hospital often becomes her second home, and her return to treatment becomes an allegory for returning home“.
