Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own.

Orbit Culture’s 2023 album Descent and their subsequent EP release The Forgotten topped many year-end lists in 2023, including Metal Hammer who described the album as: “a formidable entwining of modern metal’s most effective and exciting strands into an impressive milestone.” Exhaustive worldwide touring and a steady stream of crowd-pummeling festival slots across the globe, have set the stage for something much larger.

Orbit Culture are a band poised. They are the sound of metal in the most modern sense.

OMNIUM GATHERUM Drop First Single ‘The Last Hero’ from Upcoming Album “May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way”

One of Finland’s most active metal exports, OMNIUM GATHERUM, are thrilled to present you “The Last Hero”, their latest single and video that is also the first from their upcoming album, “May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way”, which is due for a release later this year. The video was directed by their long-time partner Jari Heino with some footage filmed by Brendan McGowan.

Markus Vanhala (guitar): “‘The Last Hero’ gives a great preview of the new album, promising more force and groove than the previous one. It’s a powerful OG anthem about an old-school street hero who never gives up and who keeps on fighting for the sake of fighting. This relentless attitude, while admirable, also means missing out on seeing and solving situations beyond the immediate fight. A theme that is easily reflected in our modern lives.”

Jukka Pelkonen (vocals): “’The Last Hero’ is a fast-paced, straightforward, melodic, and aggressive song with a catchy chorus. It’s a powerful track that really packs a punch. Lyrically, it tells the story of a person who, for better or worse, never gives up.”

The dedicated road dogs recently finalized a successful Australian tour alongside Insomnium and already have their next European tour scheduled for February and March of 2026. Support will come from US progressive death metal outfit Fallujah and Swedish melodic death metal band In Mourning.

AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS are pleased to announce their signing to Century Media. To mark the news, the band have returned with a brand new single, ‘SET IN FLOW’.

Listen to “SET IN FLOW” here

Speaking of ‘SET IN FLOW’, front woman Charlie Rolfe says, “this song was written directly from the perspective of a replicant/non-human, starting off at the beginning of the song being told who/what they are: a carbon copy of another. Eventually we follow them wanting to distance themselves from what they were, slowly becoming confident and comfortable in their uniqueness learning how to be human, even reflecting on their previous existence in anger, being kept in the dark about their unique consciousness.”

Ignoring traditional genre boundaries with their distinctive sound, As Everything Unfolds have aspired to create a unique listening experience, combining a multitude of genres within the alternative realm and beyond. With over 30 million streams of their catalogue to date, their craft does not go unnoticed.

As Everything Unfolds have been nominated for three Heavy Music Awards, including Best Album in 2024, and have appeared at iconic European festivals including Download Festival, Graspop, Rock For People, Resurrection and Wacken. They have also toured extensively alongside bands including Electric Callboy, Enter Shikari, Skindred, Bury Tomorrow, Holding Absence and many more.

With new music and the signing to Century Media, 2025 promises to be a huge year for the band showcasing their new era across numerous tours and festivals.

MALEVOLENCE Celebrate Release of New “Where Only The Truth Is Spoken” Album with Video for ‘So Help Me God’

Fresh from their secret set at last weekend’s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL, Steel City Kings MALEVOLENCE have released a new single from their massively anticipated new album, ‘Where Only The Truth Is Spoken’, which is out now via MLVLTD in partnership with Nuclear Blast Records.

The video comes in response to a takedown of their previous single ‘Salt The Wound’, which was forcibly removed from Nuclear Blast’s YouTube channel after The National Trust threatened legal action.

Apparently pretending to play the guitar for a couple of hours on a public path that thousands of tourists walk up every single day is a criminal offence worth pursuing,” said the band in a statement.

“The video is a celebration of where we come from and we’re proud of what we made. Fortunately… Someone has anonymously uploaded a version back to YouTube” they continued.

New single ‘So Help Me God’ sees the band safely performing within the walls of the historic Abbeydale Picture House cinema in Sheffield.

“This song is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. This song is a raw exploration of my own resentment, and unresolved anger” comments frontman ALEX TAYLOR.

“For the video, we wanted to match the tone of the song and have a raw performance driven video full of energy and aggression.”

The band surprised revellers at DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL on Sunday, after days of speculation around this year’s secret act. During a stunning set in a packed out AVALANCHE stage, guitarist Konan Hall unveiled his brand new guitar – a one of a kind collaboration between Jackson® Guitars and Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft® (more details below)
