German metal outfit Unprocessed have unveiled ‘Beyond Heaven’s Gate’, the powerfully emotive second single taken from their upcoming album Angel, due for release on Halloween 2025 (31st October).
Unprocessed comment on ‘Beyond Heaven’s Gate’: “We can believe in things beyond heavens gate – bats communicate with ultrasonic waves, dogs can smell diseases before they break out, cats can see in the night… so wouldn’t it be foolish to think that we can sense everything there is? This song represents a longing for something more than we can see, an answer to our internal questions about life and death. If you wish for it, you can be in touch with those who aren’t physically around anymore, and connect with a world ‘Beyond Heaven’s Gate’.
“Musically this may be our catchiest song on the album, with a more active rock approach while staying true to our progressive roots.”
‘Beyond Heaven’s Gate’ follows the single ‘Solara’ featuring Zelli of Paleface Swiss, a crushingly heavy track that combines an electronic approach with the signature Unprocessed downtuned riffage.
Unprocessed have also been announced as main support to Jinjer on their 2026 EU/UK headline tour, with Textures opening. Catch them on the following dates:

Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.
The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: “This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany – it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of “Angel” in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we’ve ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.”

The band’s previous album, …and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).
In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Their collaborative work with Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on …and everything in between highlighted the potential Unprocessed continues to exhibit amongst the scene’s most exciting guitar focused acts.
Central to Unprocessed’s identity is guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose playing has garnered international attention across online platforms and beyond. His partnership with Ibanez, including a signature model, and his ongoing guitar clinics around the world, reflect his growing status as one of the leading voices in modern metal guitar.
Unprocessed continue to push their sound forward with each release. Angel presents their most focused and dynamic material to date, offering a deeper look into the extremes of human experience without losing the technical foundations that first set them apart.

GUTTED SOULS started in 2004 when the members of the band NECROPEDOPHILE, after releasing their demo “Fetal Gore” (2002), started deviating from their proposed path of making death metal in the vein of Cannibal Corpse, Sinister, Morbid Angel and such. As the musicians started to become more proficient in their respective instruments, the musical direction changed to something more technical and progressive side of death metal.
The band suffered countless changes since then, with numerous line-up changes, and the sole remaining founding member is Iron (IncognoscI, ex-Anopsy, ex-Diisgraça). After joining forces with Wellington Ferrari, the band decided to focus on death metal with politically infused lyrics about psychopathy, mediatic manipulation, and the corruption of science and religion, culminating in both the “Unconscious Automaton” EP (2012), “The Illusion of Freedom” album (2017) and single “Organic Portal (2019).
Within all years of existence Gutted Souls had a pleasure to play at Extreme Hate Festival and as a support of such great bands as: Obituary, Master, Carach Angren, Unleashed, Apocalyptic Raids and Krisiun.
Right now, band is preparing to unleash to the wider audience their new masterpiece, second studio album titled “Portals To Chaosium” which consist of 8 brand new songs (+intro & outro) fully marking a change of direction towards a darker, faster and even more brutal death metal worship.
This is how band describes new album: “What is Portals to Chaosium? It’s brutal & technical death metal with the raw energy and nostalgia of 90’s and early 2000 , but with modern production. Songs contains almost progressive solo sections, contrasting with breakdowns and fast blasts, with old school mid tempo beats in between – there is something for all lovers of the different subgenres of death metal. Lyrics are about cosmic horror, parasocial decay, alchemical transformation, entropy, transhumanism, existential dread, woven together to create a dark, dystopian narrative“.
“Portals to Chaosium” was recorded (between June 2024-January 2025), mixed, mastered and produced by Victor Mendonça (ex-Lacerated and Carbonized). The guitars used were crafted specifically for this record by Carreiro Guitars. Cover artwork & layout was done by Aeon Artwork. Release date is set up on September 26, 2025 and will be released digitally and on CD by the Polish label Via Nocturna. CD could be purchased at official webstore (here).

With fists raised and amps cranked, MERIDIAN return today with their fifth studio album, a self-titled statement of intent and rebirth. “Meridian” is a no-frills celebration of classic heavy metal spirit, reconnecting with the raw energy, melodic power, and rebellious attitude of the genre’s golden era. From the first riff to the final scream, this is heavy metal the way it was meant to be: direct, honest, and electrifying.
Produced, mixed and mastered by guitarist Marco Angioni (Tygers Of Pan Tang, Steel Inferno) at Angioni Studios, “Meridian” was recorded with a live-first mindset and a stripped-down production ethos. Minimal studio tricks. Maximum impact. The album captures the tight interplay and raw stage energy that have long defined the band’s live shows.
This is not just another record – this is MERIDIAN. A bold restart. A love letter to heavy metal. And a reminder that the old school still rules.
“Meridian” is out today on LP (black vinyl, limited to 150 copies), CD and digital, via From The Vaults.
Formed in Denmark and active since 2013, Meridian have long stood at the crossroads of melodic metal, with flashes of AOR and progressive influences shaping their early records. But now, with a new frontman and a renewed sense of direction, the band strips everything back to essentials, delivering a hard-hitting, hook-filled album that proudly wears its ‘80s metal influences on its sleeve.
The shift in sound comes from two key moments: a conscious decision to sharpen their sonic identity, and the arrival of Søren Adamsen (ex-Artillery) as lead vocalist. His commanding presence and raw vocal style bring a harder edge to the band, perfectly suited to the record’s return-to-roots approach. The result is a collection of tightly crafted songs with thunderous riffs, melodic choruses, and blazing guitar solos, echoing the best of classic Maiden, Dio, and Saxon.
Lineup: Søren Adamsen – vocals Martin Jepsen Andersen – lead & rhythm guitars Marco Angioni – lead & rhythm guitars Klaus Agerbo – drums Peter Bruun – bass
Hamburg’s breakout metalcore/alt-rock act Lost in Hollywood are back with their hard-hitting new single ‘Pretty Skin’. Fusing raw emotion, modern pop sensibilities, and crushing heaviness, the track thrives on sharp contrasts that demand attention.
Fueled by Nikki Brumen’s ferocious vocals, razor-edged guitars and a hook that refuses to leave your head, this track delivers pure emotional chaos. At its core, it’s an emo-soaked anthem about a love so intoxicating it feels divine & destructive all at once, taboo, irresistible and worth burning for no matter the cost.
