High-octane Finnish industrial metal masters TURMION KÄTILÖT have officially announced their highly anticipated 12th studio album, Resodance, scheduled for global release on October 23, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.
Produced by Mikko Tegelman alongside the band, the upcoming record perfectly captures the ferocious, raw energy of the band’s legendary live performances. Musically and lyrically, Resodance dives deep into sonic experimentation, exploring dark, interconnected themes of universal cycles, resonance, and personal transformation.
To celebrate the announcement, the band has unleashed the album’s fierce first single, “Raivotarjonta,” accompanied by a high-octane, sweaty, fast-paced music video. The track serves as a perfect blueprint for the album’s overall direction: crushing guitar riffs meet pulsating electronic beats, while aggressive vocal deliveries collide head-on with unforgettable melodic hooks.
The album comes in following formats: CD jewelcase, 1 LP sleeve red & black marbled vinyl, 1 LP sleeve transparent red & black marbled vinyl
Vocalist Shag-U comments on the single: “ The lyrics started from the saying, “It can’t really hurt if it doesn’t even draw blood,” which took on a life of its own as I watched the strange world of social media and the way people speak to one another. The idea that words can’t destroy someone is absurd. Most of us know, at the very least, of someone who ended up doing something irreversible because of them. From there, the story began to take shape around a person who finally snaps. Rage boils over from beneath despair as the situation hurtles towards its inevitable breaking point. Pain doesn’t need a face. All you have to do is look in the mirror. Add a touch of personal experience, the title Raivotarjonta suggested by MC Raaka Pee, and there it was.”
MC Raaka Pee adds: “Raivotarjonta doesn’t move forward – it breathes. Driven by restless rhythms and stripped-back harmonies, it draws inspiration from the cold, uncompromising machine music of the late ’90s and early 2000s, where simplicity becomes overwhelming through tension, contrast and sheer weight.”

The track marks the second single from the forthcoming release and arrives alongside an official live video, available below.
Recorded at Fållan in Stockholm in 2022, ‘A Beast To Praise’ captures DARK FUNERAL‘s devastating live performance in support of their acclaimed album ‘We Are The Apocalypse.’ Spanning 13 tracks and nearly 70 minutes, the release showcases the band’s relentless stage presence while celebrating an album that entered the charts across Europe upon it’s 2022 release, including #6 in Germany, #13 in Finland, #28 in Switzerland, #29 in Austria, and #31 in Sweden.
DARK FUNERAL’s Lord Ahriman comments on ‘A Beast To Praise’:
“‘A Beast To Praise’ (Live at Fållan, Stockholm) captures a very important moment in the history of DARK FUNERAL — not only the live release ritual for ‘We Are The Apocalypse,’ but also our return to the stage after years of silence during the pandemic. That night at Fållan was intense in every possible way. The energy in the room, the fire, the audience and the atmosphere all came together into something far beyond an ordinary concert. This release is the immortal document of that night. With the release of this live album and the upcoming European touring cycle in the fall of 2026, we now close the chapter surrounding ‘We Are The Apocalypse.’ At the same time, we are already deeply focused on the next era of DARK FUNERAL and hard at work creating new material for what will become our next studio album, planned for release in 2027. And as one chapter closes, a new one is already taking shape — bigger, darker and more epic than ever before…”

Swedish rockers Degreed are excited to unveil a powerful rendition of Thin Lizzy’s “Still In Love With You”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
Vocalist Robin Eriksson commented: “We’ve been playing this song live a few times at an event called “King’s Call” in Stockholm. It’s a tribute concert to Phil Lynott, held every year. We’ve had great response every time we’ve played it. This year it’s 40 years ago since Phil Lynott passed and we felt that it’s the right time to record the song. This is our tribute to the man, the myth, the legend himself.”
Degreed have been releasing critically acclaimed music since the start of their career with their first album “Life, Love, Loss” in 2010. Over the course of their career, the band has gone from strength to strength with every release, touring and gaining fans all over the world. Their sound mixes classic melodic and hard rock sounds with more contemporary influences, offering the fans a very personal, fresh and exciting mix of great rock music.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band wasn’t able to tour on the heels of the release of the album “Lost Generation” in 2019. The band released the song “The World We Knew”, their musical summation of the year 2020 (the song became “Track of the Week” at Classic Rock Magazine’s website a week after its release) and then in 2021, Degreed began working on what would ultimately become “Are You Ready”, released in 2022.
Degreed released “Public Address” in July 2023, followed by the EP “The Leftovers – Volume I”, in July 2025, diving deep into their vault of unreleased gems.
Their latest album “Curtain Calls”, was released last April, proving that Degreed remains fully true to their established sound while refining it with precision: a powerful, contemporary production, technically solid performances, and – most importantly – an outstanding sense of melody and accessibility.

Deko Entertainment is proud to announce the release of Trapeze, the self-titled debut album from legendary British rock band Trapeze, arriving this October on 180-gram blue vinyl and limited to just 500 copies worldwide.
Originally released in 1970 and produced by John Lodge of The Moody Blues, Trapeze captured the band’s early psychedelic and progressive rock sound before they evolved into the hard-rock powerhouse that would go on to influence generations of musicians.
Formed in 1969, Trapeze originally featured former The Montanas members John Jones (trumpet, vocals) and Terry Rowley (keyboards), alongside former Finders Keepers members Glenn Hughes (bass, vocals, piano), Mel Galley (guitar, vocals), and Dave Holland (drums). Following the release of their debut album, Jones and Rowley departed the group, leaving Hughes, Galley, and Holland to continue as a trio.
The band’s legacy extends far beyond this groundbreaking debut. Glenn Hughes would go on to join Deep Purple and later be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the legendary group. Mel Galley would become a member of Whitesnake, while Dave Holland would achieve international success with Judas Priest.
Fans can listen to the original version of “Send Me No More Letters” here:
Making this release even more special, Trapeze has not been available on vinyl since its original 1970 pressing. This newly remastered edition is presented on 180-gram blue vinyl and includes a beautifully designed inner sleeve, with only 500 copies being pressed worldwide.

Italian melodic death doom masters SHORES OF NULL unveil “Son of the Tide”, the second preview from their forthcoming album “Homesick”, due out on October 16, 2026 via Dusktone.
The new track further explores the band’s singular balance between towering heaviness and profound emotional depth, weaving mournful melodies and a subtle sense of tension into a richly layered composition.
With their new album “Homesick”, SHORES OF NULL continue to broaden the expressive range of their sound, moving beyond genre boundaries while preserving the melancholic intensity and refined songwriting that have become the hallmark of one of the most distinctive voices in today’s melodic death doom landscape.
“‘Son Of The Tide’ immediately stood out as one of the most powerful and dramatic songs on the album. The contrast between the crushing, growl-driven verses and the huge, soaring chorus perfectly captures the emotional tension at the heart of the track. Lyrically, the song explores themes of solitude, fate and belonging through imagery deeply connected to the sea, an element that has always fascinated us and found its way into our music in different forms over the years. The protagonist inhabits a place he didn’t choose but inherited, while the tide becomes a metaphor for his journey through life: a force that constantly pushes and pulls, confronting him with fear, acceptance, anguish and peace in equal measure. Loneliness is a companion throughout the song, but never a permanent condition. The waves, the wind and the moon all suggest a cycle that endlessly repeats itself, reminding us that life moves in rhythms larger than ourselves. In this personal odyssey, the protagonist eventually stops fighting the tide and learns to move with it instead, finding a fragile sense of peace in the inevitability of his own destiny. The song is accompanied by a lyric video illustrated by our longtime friend Davide Mancini, aka Dartworks, who also designed the Shores Of Null logo back in the day, and brought to life through the animation work of Davide Billia”.
Following the acclaimed “The Loss Of Beauty”, SHORES OF NULL continue to expand their emotional and sonic universe with a record that combines their trademark melancholy with a renewed sense of identity and purpose. “Homesick” represents the band at their most mature, featuring ten songs where every composition carries its own unique character, supported by refined arrangements, streamlined structures and a wealth of subtle details waiting to reveal themselves over repeated listens.
The album features the best production in the history of SHORES OF NULL, giving the band’s music an unprecedented level of depth and impact. The clarity and power of the sound enhance the contrast at the core of their style: music that can be deeply melancholic and decadent, yet capable of delivering moments of energy, intensity and emotional elevation. “Homesick” is a testament to a band that has fully consolidated its position within the melodic death doom scene while continuing to evolve.
Frontman Davide Straccione comments: “Those who have followed Shores Of Null from the very beginning know that our influences touch many genres, but I think those who loved ‘The Loss Of Beauty’ won’t be disappointed. I think ‘Homesick’ brings something fresh to the band, without compromising our sound. So I truly hope it will be well received by those who already love Shores Of Null and by potentially new fans.”
Conceived as a complete listening experience rather than a simple collection of individual songs, “Homesick” moves through a wide range of emotional states: longing, loss, anger, vulnerability and the search for a place to belong. Each track offers its own identity and emotional weight, but the full picture only emerges when the album is experienced from beginning to end.
“I think ‘Homesick’ is meant to be experienced as a whole rather than as a collection of separate songs. It is a record that moves through different emotional states and explores feelings that are deeply personal but also universal,” explains Straccione. “We wanted it to feel immersive, with songs that can hit hard in the moment but also reveal more of themselves over repeated listens.”
The album’s lyrical themes revolve around nostalgia, absence and the many meanings attached to the concept of “home”. For Straccione, home is not simply a physical place, but something far more complex: a memory, a person, a wound, or even a version of ourselves that no longer exists.
“I’m fascinated by themes such as nostalgia, loss, belonging, and the ways in which the past continues to shape who we are. Sometimes inspiration simply comes from observing the world around me. Other times it starts with a question I can’t answer, and writing becomes a way to explore it. With ‘Homesick’, I found myself reflecting on the idea of ‘home’ as something much deeper than a place. Many of the lyrics revolve around that tension between longing and pain, between the desire to return and the fear of what might still be waiting for us there.”
The ten songs featured on “Homesick” were selected from a wider pool of ideas developed during the writing process. SHORES OF NULL allowed the material to evolve naturally, reshaping and reworking songs whenever necessary in order to create the strongest and most cohesive album possible. Producer Marco “Cinghio” Mastrobuono played a crucial role in pushing the band’s vision further, guiding the pre-production process and helping refine every detail.
“For both this album and our previous split, ‘Latitudes Of Sorrow’, we made a conscious decision to devote more time to pre-production with Marco ‘Cinghio’ Mastrobuono. Having someone involved who knows our sound so deeply gave us a valuable outside perspective and led to ideas, details and solutions we might not have reached on our own.”
Recorded at Bloom Recording Studios after an extensive pre-production phase, “Homesick” also features two special guest appearances: Natalie Koskinen of Shape Of Despair on “The Numbing Void”, and Shaun MacGowan of My Dying Bride, whose violin can be heard on “Dreaming Of A Scar” and “The Numbing Void”.
The vinyl edition will include a short intro created specifically for the format, designed to enhance the Side A / Side B listening experience without altering the essence of the album.
With “Homesick”, SHORES OF NULL deliver one of the strongest statements of their career: a deeply emotional, carefully crafted and immersive record that confirms their place among the leading forces of melodic death doom.
