Critically acclaimed American guitarist and vocalist Samantha Fish is pleased to confirm British slide guitarist Troy Redfern as  special guest at her upcoming UK concerts at Arts Club Liverpool (May 30), The Brook, Southampton (May 31), and O2 Academy Oxford (June 1), with the exception of Cheese & Grain, Frome (May 28), where her special guest are Kent rockers the Zac Schulze Gang.

Samantha was Grammy-nominated for “Contemporary Blues Album of the Year” for her collaboration with Jesse Dayton on Death Wish Blues. Total Guitar voted Samantha as one of the “Top 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists” of all-time. In 2024, she joined Slash on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. US tour.

Samantha will play a selection of songs from her new album Paper Doll, plus tracks from her rich back catalogue of albums including Wild Heart, Chills & Fever, Belle of the West, Death Wish Blues, Faster, and Kill or Be Kind.

After launching her recording career in 2009, Samantha established herself as a rising star in the contemporary blues world. The charismatic singer-guitarist-songwriter has earned a reputation as a guitar hero and a powerful live performer, while releasing a series of acclaimed albums that have shown her restless creative spirit consistently pushing her in new, exciting, and often unexpected musical directions.

The New York Times called Fish, “An impressive blues guitarist who sings with sweet power,” and “One of the genre’s most promising young talents.” Her hometown paper, the Kansas City Star wrote: “Samantha Fish has kicked down the door of the patriarchal blues club and displays more imagination and creativity than some blues veterans exhibit over the course of their careers.”

Samantha believes her musical future is an open road. “I’m never going be a traditional blues artist, because that’s not who I am,” she says. “But it’s all the Blues for me. When Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf came out, what they were doing didn’t sound like anything that had been done in Blues before. You’ve got to keep that kind of fire and spirit. I’m never going to do Muddy Waters better than Muddy Waters, so I try to be who I am, and in doing that, I find my best voice.”

Time To Kill Records is proud to present “Mirrors”, the second single from Italian hardcore outfit RESPECT FOR ZERO’s upcoming EP “Overtime”, due out on June 30th, 2025.

“Mirrors” showcases a more brooding side of the band. Fusing razor-sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and emotionally-charged breakdowns, the track reflects on inner conflict and fractured identity without losing the raw aggression that defines RESPECT FOR ZERO’s sound. “Mirrors” reaffirms the band’s ability to evolve within hardcore’s framework, channeling both fury and vulnerability into a cohesive and hard-hitting anthem.

“The lyrics critique a dystopian society in which people—referred to as “dying brains”—are manipulated and controlled. They lead empty lives, blindly obeying and chasing unattainable dreams. The lyrics convey a sense of disillusionment and warn of the danger of losing one’s individuality”.

Danish virtuoso musician Nicklas Sonne shares his new single and accompanying lyric video “Helldivers Anthem”, taken from the upcoming studio album “Electric Dreams”, set for release on June 27th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Talking about the new single, Nicklas Sonne commented: “From one gamer to another – this is my tribute to the Helldivers. Loud riffs, big explosions, and just the right amount of sarcasm. Freedom never sleeps – and neither do we”.

Describing the album, he added: “This record is a deeply personal journey back to where it all began for me – to the raw energy and spirit of my earliest musical inspirations. It blends the soul of old school hard rock with the punch and clarity of a modern production, creating a soundscape that feels both nostalgic and new”.

Nicklas Sonne is a Danish musician, vocalist, guitarist, and producer known for his powerful presence in progressive and heavy metal. He began his musical experience as a drummer before moving onto the guitar and ultimately becoming a singer songwriter in an array of metal and hard rock projects, starting with Defecto, one of Denmark’s leading metal bands – created in 2010. 

In addition to Defecto, Nicklas is part of Aries Descendant along with Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze, Catalyst Crime). The dynamic duo released their debut album on Frontiers Music Srl on October 18th, 2024. It is a groundbreaking project that seamlessly fuses the evocative allure of film music with the raw power of heavy metal, creating an auditory experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.

A multi-instrumentalist from an early age, Nicklas honed his skills by playing along to Metallica and Dream Theater, later diving into songwriting and production. His talent quickly gained industry attention, leading to collaborations with renowned producers Jan Langhoff (Aqua) and Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica). This pivotal moment shaped his signature sound – progressive metal infused with orchestral and choral elements.

Other bands include Evil Masquerade, Theory, Hank Shermann, One Machine, Waving Memories, Section A, Metallica Jam, Wasted, Omvendt Korstog. His long career has included international tours in places such as Japan, and opening for Metal heavyweights including Metallica and Rammstein.

With a relentless work ethic and a passion for musical innovation, Nicklas Sonne continues to push the boundaries of modern metal, cementing his reputation as one of the most dynamic artists in the genre today. His solo album is a collection of songs that show the immense talent of this artist, that also took care of the production duties.
