HELLFOX Unveil Second Single ‘Atlas’ from Upcoming Album

Following the haunting release of “Seaweed Braids“, Italian all-female melodic death metal band Hellfox returns with a powerful new chapter: “Atlas,” the second single from their upcoming album “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity“, due out via Rockshots Records.

Combining heavy melodic death metal foundations with modern textures and acidic synths, “Atlas” is a crushing and introspective anthem. Lyrically, the song draws on the myth of the Titan condemned to bear the weight of the sky — a metaphor for the emotional burdens we carry and the silent expectations imposed by society. “We have no control over what happens around us,” the band explains, “but letting go of that weight may be the most liberating act of all.”

Hellfox’s music thrives on contrast: dual female vocals (melodic and growled), distorted layers, and atmospheric electronics merge into an emotional and immersive sound. With influences ranging from Amorphis and In Flames to Dark Tranquillity, the band has forged a distinctive identity that breaks away from traditional tropes, embracing vulnerability, rage, beauty, and discomfort in equal measure.

“The Spectrum of Human Gravity” is a conceptual journey into the depths of the human psyche. It explores difficult yet universal emotions—loneliness, self-doubt, alienation—through allegorical storytelling and striking visual metaphors. Each song gives voice to a different “face of the self,” capturing the chaos and coherence that define our inner worlds.

With “Atlas“, Hellfox once again demonstrates their ability to balance emotional weight with sonic power, delivering a track that is as crushing as it is cathartic.

ABOUT:

HELLFOX is an ALL FEMALE alternative metal (alt-metal) band with melodic death tendencies. Despite the four completely different musical backgrounds, we share a common inspiration to Amorphis, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity as far as composition is concerned, while for the choice of sounds we intended to move away from the Symphonic, recognizably feminine scenario to include acid and distorted synths so that we could create modern atmospheres that more closely met our tastes and better married the pop timbre of the melodic vocals. The dualism of HELLFOX is not meant to be understood on a conflicting level, it is instead the result of different voices within the human soul, different faces if you will, that mingle and generate the person itself, in its entirety, that although they seem to struggle, they coexist and create harmony and balance. We don’t use masks to conform to a mass, nor do we want to stand out at all costs, we just want to be ourselves in a society where normality is only a surface, the abyss instead is made up of so many facets of personality, both for the group and especially for the individual human being. Ours is a message within everyone’s reach, in which one can recognize oneself: that little voice in the head that either draws you in or drives you away… Because for us, nothing is normal, nothing is different.

Nearly three decades after its original release, METALLICA’s Load returns on June 13, 2025 in a remastered version. The album, once polarizing among fans and critics alike, is now seen as a bold and defining moment in the band’s evolution.

To mark the occasion, the band has shared several videos that revisit the Load era – both musically and visually.

For fans of the mid-’90s Load tour, the newly released live footage of “2 x 4”, filmed in Montréal in 1995, is a real treat. It’s joined by two brand-new lyric videos that reintroduce classic singles in a fresh visual style,

In the official unboxing video, Kirk Hammett gives fans a first look at the deluxe edition of Load (Remastered), fittingly titled “The Whole Kitchen Sink”. Weighing in at over ten pounds, the set offers a deep dive into one of Metallica’s most experimental eras.

The box includes:

  • 6 vinyl LPs
  • 15 CDs
  • 4 DVDs
  • A 128-page hardcover book
  • Reproduced memorabilia (tour passes, flyers, posters & more)

The Load remaster will be available on June 13, 2025 in multiple formats:

  • Ltd. Poor Twisted Orange – 2 Colored LP
  • Standard CD
  • 3CD Expanded Edition
  • Deluxe Box Set

Whether you’re a long-time fan, collector, or discovering Load for the first time – pre-orders are now live.

In addition, Metallica’s M72 World Tour shows no signs of slowing down – and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Europe’s getting another round of Metallica shows in 2026, featuring their now-iconic “No Repeat Weekends” and some powerful support acts.

Tickets for all listed dates will be available starting Friday, May 30, 2025. The Metallica Fan Club pre-sale begins as early as Tuesday, May 27.

Metallica will return with a total of sixteen shows across Europe. Fans in the DACH region can look forward to concerts in Zurich and Berlin, plus a “No Repeat” weekend in Frankfurt – where the band will play two completely different setlists on back-to-back nights, with no repeated songs. Support acts for each date are listed below.

For the “One Night Only” shows, Gojira and Knocked Loose will warm up the crowd with a heavy-hitting mix of death metal and hardcore.

On May 9, 2025, Primal Fear hit the stage at Rock in Rautheim Festival near Braunschweig, Germany, playing their very first show with a partially renewed line-up.

New faces included:

  • Thalìa Bellazecca (Angus McSix, formerly Frozen Crown)
  • André Hilgers (Axxis, Rage, Silent Force, Sinner, Bonfire) on drums
  • Swedish guitarist Magnus Karlsson

But the most emotional moment of the night came with the long-awaited comeback of founding member Mat Sinner, who returned to the stage after a five-year health-related break.

Just days before the show, Sinner posted this on social media:

“Five years ago i played my last show with  Alice Coope in Berlin. Shortly after this show i was declared dead, but doctors brought me back to life. As i was lying paralyzed in my bed one of my 3 targets was that one day i want to be back rocking on a stage again. Now 5 years later i‘m 75% recovered, 5 years sober and i will play a show with my beloved Primal Feal again on Friday evening, supported by some of the best guys i can imagine. Don‘t expect me jumping around like a young guy but for sure i will give 200% and can you imagine my feelings when we will play our classic songs again? Keep your fingers crossed and have a great new week !”

After the show, Sinner followed up with this message:

“I had a dream, it’s been a long road but finally I’ve made it. Believe in miracles, fight to make it happen. I can only thank my band mates, my family, our crew, Frank & Bodo for being there for me!”

Fans were treated to a powerful setlist full of classics like “Final Embrace”, “Nuclear Fire” and “Chainbreaker”, as well as the live debut of “The Hunter”, which will appear on the upcoming album Domination.

Watch a  fan-filmed footage of the performance here:

The Setlist:

  1.  Final Embrace
  2.  Nuclear Fire
  3.  Angel in Black
  4.  The Hunter (Live debut)
  5.  King of Madness
  6.  Hounds of Justice
  7.  The End Is Near
  8.  Fighting the Darkness
  9.  Chainbreaker
  10.  Metal Is Forever
  11.  Running in the Dust

Primal Fear’s brand-new studio album Domination will be released on September 9, featuring 13 all-new tracks – including high-speed bangers like the single “Far Away,” powerful midtempo anthems, and even a pure instrumental.

Founding members Mat Sinner (bass, vocals) and Ralf Scheepers (vocals) lead the charge on what might be Primal Fear’s strongest and most dynamic record yet.

Domination will be available on CD, limited edition vinyl, and as Earbook.
