Golden Robot Records is proud to announce the release of ‘Worry‘, the powerful new single from Kurt Frohlich, available worldwide on May 30. The track marks the first release from Frohlich’s upcoming full-length album ‘1987′, the highly anticipated follow-up to his debut EP 1977.
‘Worry’ introduces listeners to the evocative world of ‘1987′, a record that blends the brooding synth textures of ‘80s UK new wave with cutting-edge modern rock. Frohlich’s signature style – drenched in emotional urgency, driving guitar hooks, and cinematic synth layers – is on full display in this compelling new single.
1987 explores themes of mental health, mortality, love, and human fragility through a retro-modern sonic lens. Across 10 tracks, Frohlich delves deep into personal struggles and cathartic realizations, creating music that feels both timeless and immediate. ‘Worry’ sets the tone – a darkly melodic anthem with heart-on-sleeve lyrics and a pulse that beats with both nostalgia and urgency.
For fans of Depeche Mode, The Cure, and modern rock acts that push genre boundaries, ‘Worry’ is a perfect bridge between past and present – a haunting yet hopeful opening chapter in the 1987 story.
‘Worry’ is available on all major streaming platforms May 30 via Golden Robot Records. Stay tuned for more details on the full 1987 album release coming soon.

Finland’s classic metal torchbearers Wishing Well have released a new war-themed song called “War Cry”. The new track is slow and energetic metal song, which features cowbell and band’s trademark, Arto Teppo‘s Hammond organ.
The song is full of powerful wishingwellish guitar riffs and the strong lead melody and lyrics tell the always current, too well known story about man and war. The song was recorded last autumn in Magnusborg studios, in Porvoo. The video was filmed by Jussi Koskinen and it was edited by Jussi Koskinen together with David Bagaric (Morbid Film Studios).
“This song goes way back but we rewrote most parts of it, through many trials and errors. At the end of the day it became exactly what we wanted it to be, now it sounds just like us and as a bonus it’s great to play it live.”, says Anssi Korkiakoski, the guitar player and bandleader of Wishing Well.
At the moment the band is working on their fifth album, due to be released in the spring of 2026. “We have very strong material in the works now and we feel it will be our strongest album so far”, says Korkiakoski.
In June Wishing Well will support Graham Bonnet Band on their tour in Finland. In November the band supports Girlschool and Alcatrazz as they tour Finland.
Finnish progressive death metal band Sargassus is set to release their debut album ‘Vitruvian Rays’, out in June 13th 2025 via Inverse Records.
The third and last single ‘Pahat Veräjät’ is unleashed today and it’s available on all essential streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/sargassus-pahat
Composed by Teemu Leskinen, Matias Rokio & Matias Stenman
Lyrics by Matias Stenman
ISRC: FI3FC2591605
Vocal Production by Raging Cannon
Mix & Master by Joona Muistola @ HAW Studios
Cover art by Matias Stenman
The Band Comments: “”Pahat Veräjät’ is the third and final single before the release of the ‘Vitruvian Rays’ album. The song is both a departure from the band’s usual modus operandi, as it is sung in Finnish, as well as a return to the roots, featuring long atmospheric passages with progressive chord structures. As the song kicks off with ultra-fast blast beats, there is a definite nod towards extreme metal as well. ‘Pahat Veräjät’ (‘The Bad Gates’ in english) references the gates of Tuonela, the cold underworld of Finnish mythology. It tells the story of a journey through the wilderness between the living and the dead, asking the listener if a life’s worth can (or should) be measured in wealth, as all material possession will eventually be left behind”
ESCAPE TO THE ROOF return today with a new single titled “Back Again (edit)”, now available on all digital platforms via Volcano Records & Promotion.
The mysterious Italian progressive rock project, still keeping the identities of its members secret, delivers a powerful and layered track that blends experimental sounds with introspective atmospheres in a deep, emotional sonic journey.
“Back Again” tells the story of someone who steps away from the world, from societal norms and conventional logic, only to return with disillusionment and awareness. The protagonist is a “returner”, an outsider whose gaze now pierces through the illusion. There is no triumph in his return — only the burning clarity of truth. With sharp lyrics and a bold sonic texture, the song invites listeners into a mental space where music becomes thought, urgency, and revelation. This special edit version of the original long-form suite retains its essence while condensing its intensity into just under eight minutes. The result is a vivid experience where aggressive rock energy meets atmospheric and psychedelic detours, proving once again that Escape to the Roof are willing to go beyond genre boundaries to tell complex emotional and conceptual stories.
Listen to “Back Again (edit)” now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.
An intense, symbolic official video accompanies the single and is now available on YouTube:
