SCARLET AURA Release ‘Laila’ – a Heavy Metal Anthem Rooted in Ancient Forests And Romanian Spirit

SCARLET AURA unveils today a powerful new single, “LAILA”, marking a unique moment in the band’s artistic journey. This song merges traditional Romanian lyricism with the raw intensity of heavy metal, delivering a fresh, bold expression of cultural identity and creative force.

“LAILA” is more than just a song – it is a musical manifesto, born from the band’s profound desire to explore the richness of their native language and the deep well of cultural heritage from which they draw. With lyrics inspired by Romanian folk poetry and brought to life through fierce guitar riffs, dramatic vocals, and epic metal soundscapes, “LAILA” is unmistakably Scarlet Aura.

“Since we started writing and performing in Romanian, we’ve realized just how much there is inside us waiting to be told. How much music lives in our roots, passed down through generations. ‘LAILA’ is a feeling, an emotion – and a promise that we’ve only just begun discovering who we truly are as artists,” shares vocalist Aura Dănciulescu.

The lyrics evoke vivid imagery from Romanian mythology and rural tradition – sacred woods, ancestral spirits, the wolf’s cry, longing hearts, the strong maiden and the fearless warrior – reimagined in a modern, metallic form. It’s a song about belonging, bravery, and unshakable roots; about a generation seeking truth through music and myth.

“For us, every album is a stepping stone. Every song – a mirror. And with full honesty, we feel that what lies ahead for Scarlet Aura is not a continuation… but a beginning.”

Dutch metal powerhouse Martyr has announced their brand new studio album, entitled “Dark Believer”, for an August 15th-release on ROAR! A video clip for the band’s first single, the colossal album title track, is now premiering below!

The album pre-order, available as CD, Vinyl and Digital formats, has just started at:
https://martyr.rpm.link/dbalbumPR

“The first single from our upcoming album Dark Believer is HERE. During the writing and recording process, this song evolved into something dark and mysterious,“ the band states. “Embracing the shadows—where demons lurk, witches chant, and lost souls are drawn into the unknown. Heaviness meets melody. Crushing riffs. Epic vocals. Relentless bass and drums. It’s pure MARTYR metal. Dark Believer is your first descent into the abyss we’ve carved on our new album. A taste of evil, despair, and hypocrisy that stains the soul of humanity.”

Stream the song now on https://martyr.rpm.link/dbsinglePR

Martyr is a metal band from the Netherlands, forging their legacy since 1982. The world first took notice in 1985 when their track “En Masse (Stand Or Die)” appeared on Metal Blade’s iconic “Metal Massacre VI” compilation alongside acts like Possessed, Dark Angel, and Nasty Savage. That same year, their debut album “For The Universe” became an instant classic, praised by Encyclopaedia Metallum for its superior songwriting.

Martyr‘s impact on Dutch Metal was further cemented with their inclusion in the 2014 “Dutch Steel (80’s Metal From The Netherlands)” compilation. The band’s hometown of Utrecht also recognized their contributions, with Mayor Jan van Zanen personally thanking them in 2018 for representing the city on the global stage. Renowned for their electrifying live performances, Martyr has toured extensively across Europe, Japan, and India, sharing stages with legends like Trivium, Iced Earth, Saxon, Raven and Flotsam & Jetsam, as well as Iron Maiden alumni Paul Di’Anno and Blaze Bayley. In 2022, Martyr released “Planet Metalhead” to widespread acclaim, earning “Album of the Year” from Metalfan.nl and leading to a partnership with Rock Of Angels Records for its global re-release in 2023.

Now, on August 15, 2025, Martyr is set to unleash their seventh studio album, “Dark Believer”, through ROAR. With headline slots, festival appearances, and club shows on the horizon, Martyr continues to prove why they remain one of metal’s most enduring forces!

KORPIKLAANI Release New Video ‘Tapa Sen Kun Kerkeet’

Finnish Folk Metal Superstars KORPIKLAANI release a live video for the song ‘Tapa sen kun kerkeet’, from their latest album, Rankarumpu. The music video was filmed at Trolls et Légendes 2024 in Mons, BE.

Jonne Järvelä comments: ”Tapa sen kun kerkeet” (Kill While You Can) is maybe the most aggressive thrash metal song what we’ve ever done while still maintaining our typical folk style. The aggression in the song comes from anger and frustration about the state of our world and how senseless war is. Humanity is so stupid that it doesn’t learn anything from history and just keeps making the same mistakes as before. Always with the most advanced weapons and methods.”

KORPIKLAANI are planning to tour end of 2025 & beginning 2026 in UK, Europe & Latin America. Please contact if you are interested. Package details are under discussion. North America for late 2026.

KORPIKLAANI’s twelfth studio album Rankarumpu is classic folk metal – fast, energetic and dynamic, showing once again they are the leaders in this genre.

NOUMENIA Question Spiritual Connection with Fate in Emotional New ‘Fall Apart’ Music Video

Noumenia are a post-groove metal band from Northern Italy, who have crafted an soul-striking explosive sound that hits you square in the face, the mind, and the soul! Fronted by their powerfully-charismatic vocalist Vivian Black, the band just premiered a new music video for their emotional new single “Fall Apart“. The music video was directed by Steve Saints (Genus Ordinis Dei). “Fall Apart” is the second single & music video taken from their upcoming full-length album Echoes which will be released on June 27, 2025 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Richard Meiz (Lacuna Coil, Genus Ordinis Dei), and mixed & mastered by Daniele Salomone (Lacuna Coil, Inverno, D With Us) at DDStudio Records.

“The main inspiration for the video was the Ancient Greek myth of the Fates (or Parcae) where it was told that three women wove the strings of human fate” says vocalist Vivian Black. “The legend told that whenever the Parcae stopped weaving the strings a human would die. So, the most important symbols were obviously the red strings, which represent our bond with the other human beings and our subconscious.” Drummer Sam Zichi adds, “We shot a video for Fall Apart because we wanted to bring the lyrics and emotions that we put into the song to life. Every member of the band is fighting against these red strings that represent the bounding and deep connection with our destiny and souls. They keep us bonded but restrained, awake but not aware how linked we are to other human beings and our fate.”

Echoes is the title of the exciting post groove metal album by Noumenia, featuring rhythmic virtuosity, ripsaw growl vocals, heavy drumming, and a gargantuan guitar sound that literally reinvents the power of the power chord. The pound and burn on this record are massive, the changes invigorating, the hooks mesmerizing, the philosophical lyrics all too close to the heart, the bottom-side where we stockpile secrets and darkness. Often, the songs on this record kick off with bizarre futuristic introductions constructed of suspense and trepidation, like movie soundtracks made for aliens, dangerous AI, and cyborgs gone mad, yet following these mystic “orchestral” and “celestial” preludes, Noumenia hit us with drop after drop that rock so hard we are stunned. Musically, this record makes for a striking hybrid, explosive and smooth, hard diamond with a soft shine, a thick dose of dangerous velvet. Holistically, it seems that the band has a mission here to invigorate, exfoliate, and buzzsaw the brain so the new world looks real and raw. Echoes features cover art designed by Samuele Zichi, and it is scheduled for release on June 27, 2025.

Pre-Save or Pre-Order Echoes at this location.

Argentinian singer Santiago Ramonda is pleased to announce the release of his debut album “The Walls Are Crumbling Down”, out on July 18th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The first single, “Gone”, is out now, offering a taste of the upcoming record.

Pre-Order “The Walls Are Crumbling Down” HERE

Talking about the first single, Santiago Ramonda commented: “I think this song is a deep reflection on the importance of living in the present and taking advantage of the opportunities that come our way. The lyrics are emotional and resonant, and the melody is catchy and memorable. I like how the song invites us not to wait too long to do what we want, and not to let fear or uncertainty hold us back from making decisions and enjoying life. The song has a powerful and relevant message for anyone looking to live more authentically and fully”.

Describing the album, Ramonda added: “This album is a battle cry for all those who love rock and refuse to let it die. With this album, we want to keep the flame of classic hard rock alive and take it to new places. For all those fighting to keep the spirit of rock alive, this album is a message of hope and resilience. And to see my name on that banner is a dream fulfilled, an honor that drives me forward with passion and dedication. I especially want to thank having had the opportunity to work with Alessandro Del Vecchio, a great honor for me that has enriched this project in an invaluable way. We will keep on rocking, and with you, we will take it to the top again!”

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to present the upcoming debut album from Ramonda, the first solo release by the brilliant Argentinian singer Santiago Ramonda.

Ramonda already caught the attention of the melodic hard rock scene with Stormwarning’s debut album and he’s here again, under the direction of Serafino Perugino, president of Frontiers Records, to prove his immense vocal talent, crafting an album of melodic rock gems!

Santiago started as a guitarist and then became a singer, developing his skill primarily through practice and self-knowledge. Although he has received valuable advice and guidance from some experts, including Iván Sencion, his growth as an artist has been largely self-directed.

In 2020, as a result of a cover of Joe Lynn Turner’s “Prelude/Endlessly” published on his YouTube channel, Santiago began to catch the attention of some players in the global melodic rock scene. Guitarist Stuart Smith (Heaven & Earth), whom the label has a long relationship with, shared Santiago’s YouTube videos with the label.

“The Walls Are Crumbling Down” is a solid album, showcasing songs with big choruses, a wide range of vocal arrangements, Santiago’s tone is the perfect balance between vocal extension and a warm bluesy digression (“Blue Heart Of Stone” is a clear example) and an amazing guitar work by Suraz Sun, guitar player from Girish And The Chronicles.

Songs like “The Walls Are Crumbling Down” and “Don’t Look For Love” are just a mention in between all the great tracks featured in the album!

2.    The Walls Are Crumbling Down
