Hot on the heels of their much-praised studio album “Plead The Fifth” (unleashed in July via ROAR here), Austria’s high-voltage glam metal renegades Mädhouse are back, bigger, bolder, and badder than ever! With guitars cranked to the red zone, and enough hooks to fill an arena, the band drops their brand new video for “Get A Grip” – a turbo-charged anthem built for late nights, loud amps, and a whole lotta attitude!

Formed in 2017 by Mikky Stixx, Mädhouse‘s origins trace back to a spontaneous Hard N’ Heavy show, where 18 rock musicians gathered, leading to the band’s creation. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Ratt, Mädhouse blends the raw energy of classic glam metal with a modern hard rock edge. Swedish melodic rock band Treat are pleased to announce their return with the new single and official visualizer, “Adam & Evil”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

Formed in Stockholm in 1983 by singer Robert Ernlund and guitarist Anders “Gary” Wikström, Treat emerged as one of Sweden’s most prominent melodic hard rock and glam metal bands of the 1980s. Initially called The Boys, the group landed a record deal with Mercury and released their debut “Scratch And Bite” in early 1985. It featured tracks like “Too Wild” and “Get You On The Run”- anthemic songs that showcased their high energy riffs and big choruses and quickly earned them both national and international attention.

Their follow up, “The Pleasure Principle” (1986), and third LP “Dreamhunter” (1987) solidified their signature sound: polished, AOR tinged hard rock infused with emotive melodies. Standout singles like “World Of Promises” received major airplay, including on MTV’s Headbangers Ball, and they toured extensively across Europe, sharing festival stages (including Monsters of Rock in Germany in 1988) and opening for acts such as Queen in Sweden and W.A.S.P.

By 1989, Treat released “Organized Crime”, their fourth studio album, that featured songs like “Ready For The Taking” and “Party All Over.” Despite lineup shifts, they continued touring internationally – including in Japan – and pressing forward creatively through to 1993, when a self titled album and evolving musical landscape culminated in the band’s first breakup.

A surprise resurgence came in 2006 with the retrospective “Weapons Of Choice 1984–2006”, which sold far beyond expectations and inspired Treat to regroup with much of their late ’80s lineup. 

Since their reunion, the band has released four new studio albums – “Coup De Grâce” (2010), “Ghost Of Graceland” (2016), “Tunguska” (2018) and most recently “The Endgame” (2022) -winning praise from fans and critics alike for melding classic melodic rock energy with modern songwriting finesse.

MEGADETH to Release Final Album in 2026 + Announce Global Farewell Tour

Today MEGADETH’s DAVE MUSTAINE revealed in a social post directly shared with his worldwide fanbase and Cyber Army that his forthcoming album (due out early next year) will be the final MEGADETH studio album of his career.  MUSTAINE shared the announcement via his alter ego Vic Rattlehead.  MUSTAINE also revealed that the multi-platinum superstar band will embark on a global farewell tour kicking off in 2026.  Also set for next year is a new memoir from MUSTAINE, details of which will be revealed in the coming months.

“There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional,” DAVE MUSTAINE says.  “Most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have traveled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them. 

DAVE adds, “We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour. If there was ever a perfect time for us to put out a new album, it’s now. If there was ever a perfect time to tour the world, it’s now.  This is also a perfect time for us to tell you that it’s our last studio album.  We’ve made a lot of friends over the years and I hope to see all of you on our global farewell tour.  Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years.  We have done something together that’s truly wonderful and will probably never happen again. We started a musical style, we started a revolution, we changed the guitar world and how it’s played, and we changed the world. The bands I played in have influenced the world. I love you all for it. Thank you for everything.”

MEGADETH are set to release their forthcoming album via MUSTAINE’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label.  It will launch with the project’s first single (TBA) in tandem with global pre-orders this fall.

Following their recent signing with Nuclear Blast Records, Texas death horde TRIBAL GAZE has announced their 2nd full-length album, Inveighing Brilliance, will be released on October 17th. Injecting a heavy dose of scorching old school death metal straight into the veins of the modern metal scene, TRIBAL GAZE hold nothing back on their massively anticipated followup to 2022’s highly praised The Nine Choirs.
