Rock is not dead — it screams, burns, and fights back. And now, with a voice that cuts through the noise like a blade, PINO SCOTTO – OFFICIAL returns with his brand-new studio album:
“THE DEVIL’S CALL” – eleven explosive tracks, eleven raw truths, eleven wounds torn open on the flesh of our broken times.
With his unmistakable raspy voice and a soul forged in fire, Scotto leads us on an unfiltered journey, where every song is an electric shock to the system.
True friendships, inner demons, daily injustices, distant wars, and power struggles — nothing is off-limits, nothing is sugarcoated. Pino stares the world down, challenges it, denounces it, and sings it loud.
Musically, the album breathes the air of deep America:
rock’n’roll, blues, southern rock, hard blues, hard rock — a wild mix that never loses the raw authenticity that defines Scotto’s signature style. Every note is real. Every riff bleeds. Every word burns.
Leading the charge is the new single “No Fear No Shame”, accompanied by a powerful and symbolic official video.
This track is a gut-punch. A stripped-down reflection on a world that has grown numb and indifferent, where humanity has lost all sense of direction.
In the silence of this desensitized age, Scotto finds refuge in the one embrace that still offers true comfort: a mother’s arms. A return to the roots. A cry from the soul. Raw, real, fearless.
“THE DEVIL’S CALL” ISN’T JUST AN ALBUM. IT’S A WAR CRY. A VOICE THAT REFUSES TO SURRENDER.
Out now on all digital platforms and in stores worldwide.
“It’s a dream come true, lasting for years. Now everything can begin!”. With these words, Marco Rinaldi announces the official debut of Rimmar, his visionary solo project, and unveils the first single, “Planet Mars,” released via Rockshots Records.
Completely written, composed, and arranged by Rinaldi himself, “Planet Mars” is more than just a song—it’s the first chapter in a sonic journey that blends the power of classic, progressive, and industrial metal with disco and electronic elements. A bold and cinematic opening track that sets the tone for Rimmar’s debut album “Raises”, “Planet Mars” hovers between the past and the future, echoing with the urgency of rebirth and the desire to rise from a stagnant world. As the artist explains, “This album was born in the past, matured in the present, and projected into the future like a spaceship.”
Rimmar is not a traditional band but a one-man artistic endeavor. Marco Rinaldi is the sole author of the lyrics and music, building his songs from riffs and rhythmic structures before enriching them with orchestration, synths, and pads. The words are deeply inspired by readings, dreams, and philosophical reflections, but always subordinate to the music itself — “The word is a servant of music in my case,” he states.
“Raises” features a refined blend of styles and moods, reflective of Rinaldi’s wide musical background and personal influences ranging from 80s metal to 90s prog and even Italian avant-garde artists. The production also benefits from a remarkable cast of guest performers from the Italian rock and metal scene: Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire, Angra) on tow songs “Mighty Messenger” and “Vortex”, Kyo Calati (MindAheaD), Marco Andreotti (Imagine Dragons tribute), Mattia Fagiolo (White Thunder, Dragonhammer), and Alessandro Cola (Eldritch) all contributed their unique voices and energy to the project.
On stage, Rimmar transforms into a full live band with experienced musicians delivering a performance that merges metal intensity with the aesthetics of electronic dance. As Rinaldi explains, “All we are interested in is ‘increasing’, ‘raising’ the volume, the intensity, rising from the rubble of our indifference, superficiality, ignorance and difficulty to communicate with others!”
“Planet Mars” is now available on all digital platforms and marks the beginning of an ambitious musical vision—emotional, genre-defying, and unapologetically bold.
British blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Joanne Shaw Taylor offers a dose of feel-good nostalgia with the release of her new single “Summer Love.” Released today via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records, the track finds Joanne in a more carefree, radio-ready mode—without letting go of the heart and honesty that have defined her career.
“I specifically had it in my mind that I wanted to write a summer pop single for this album,” Joanne shares. “It’s just something I’ve always loved—driving around Michigan, now Tennessee in summer and having that one song you love to hear on the radio that years later triggers happy memories. I hope this could be that song for someone out there.”
With crisp handclaps, crunchy riffs, and a laid-back groove that begs to be played with the windows down, “Summer Love” tells the story of a fleeting romance that burned bright and ended sweet. “What’s to say, let’s call it what it is / It’ll almost be easy, getting over this,” Joanne sings, striking the perfect balance between wistful and free. “Had love for a season, both had our reasons / It’s only for forever—forever till September.”
“Summer Love” is the latest in a run of singles leading into Black & Gold, Joanne’s highly anticipated new album out June 6th. It follows the moody and emotionally raw “Look What I’ve Become,” the roaring rocker “Hell Of A Good Time,” and the introspective gems “Grayer Shade of Blue” and “I Gotta Stop Letting You Let Me Down.” Each release has shown a different side of Joanne’s artistry, reflecting a record that’s as dynamic as it is deeply personal.
Produced by Kevin Shirley (Black Crowes, Journey, Aerosmith), Black & Gold sees Joanne stretching beyond the boundaries of traditional blues-rock, embracing cinematic textures, soulful pop, and modern guitar grit. From the shimmering cover of Sam Sparro’s “Black & Gold” to the stirring ballad “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now,” the album showcases Joanne’s evolution as a writer, player, and vocalist.
Joanne recently wrapped a string of U.S. Spring Tour dates and is gearing up for a summer packed with major festival and headline performances across North America and Europe and in the midst of announcing a US tour this fall. Known for her fiery musicianship and magnetic stage presence, she continues to captivate live audiences with a setlist that spans fan favourites and new material from Black & Gold.

Following the release of “Liminal Spaces” via Rockshots Records, Italian progressive metal act Beriedir unveils the Official Music Video for “Burnout”, the album’s emotional centerpiece.
Musically and lyrically, “Burnout” captures the very essence of the record. A song about mental exhaustion, the crushing weight of self-imposed pressure, and the relentless cycle of overexertion, “Burnout” blends technical complexity with emotional immediacy. The track opens with hammering rhythmic patterns and aggressive riffs before collapsing into a fragile, almost sobbing pause culminating in a melodic death-inspired finale of overwhelming intensity.
“Filling all the time we have, keeping the furnace burning as everything gets consumed. Writing page after page, until something breaks. Silence falls in an instant, like the noises in the forest when a predator is present. But the only threat to us, in the solitude of sleepless nights, is ourselves. The cycle never stops: our mind becomes incandescent, works non-stop, then burns out. Then it starts again.”
The band comments:
“‘Burnout’ is a vocal and instrumental challenge in every aspect. It’s the most representative track of “Liminal Spaces”, where every musical choice mirrors the content of the lyrics. It’s hard to stay emotionally untouched while playing it.”
The official music video, directed once again by Luca Rapuzzi, visually amplifies the tension and vulnerability expressed in the track. Through stark and immersive imagery, Rapuzzi brings the song’s inner conflict and emotional unraveling to life, reinforcing “Burnout” as the album’s defining statement.
With “Liminal Spaces, “Beriedir has taken a bold step away from their power metal roots to fully embrace a progressive, melancholic, and immersive sound. The album explores trauma, nostalgia, longing, and emotional fragmentation, offering a listening experience that resonates deeply with those navigating dark and complex emotional states.
The band’s stylistic shift is both natural and deliberate, shaped by years of personal growth and sonic exploration. As frontman and primary songwriter, Stefano Nusperli explains, it all began with a USB drive full of music from bands like Vision Divine, Dream Theater, Dark Tranquillity, and Children of Bodom—a discovery that sparked the initial flame of Beriedir and ultimately led to “Liminal Spaces”.
Now, with a more collaborative approach and a renewed focus on progressive and alternative metal, Beriedir’s sound draws comparisons to Pain of Salvation, Leprous, Katatonia, Gojira, Trivium, and Dark Tranquillity. The album was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, ensuring a sonic depth that matches its lyrical weight.

New album, new tour, EVEN MORE FUN: Exciting times for Franconian comedy metal masters J.B.O.! Although they’re still celebrating the 30th anniversary of their much-loved debut album, “Explizite Lyrik” [1995], the band recently announced the tempting title of their forthcoming studio album, “Haus Of The Rising Fun,” as well as an extensive supporting tour. But that’s not all: the group’s 15th offering will not only lure fans into their very own ‘pink light district,’ but also be their first release via the rising home for heavy music, PERCEPTION, the latest imprint of Reigning Phoenix Music, which the self-titled ‘Kickers of A**’ are now proudly signed to.
“We’re excited to call PERCEPTION our new home, because Reigning Phoenix Music is very good at grabbing beers! We’re looking forward to our first release in early 2026 and working our a**es off until then! Where a phoenix reigns, you can expect lots of fiery surprises!” promises band co-founder and vocalist/guitarist Vito C.
PERCEPTION managing director Jochen Richert adds: “We’re happy to welcome yet another act I’ve been collaborating with during the past decades: J.B.O.! Vito, Hannes, Ralph & Wolfram – the impersonated consortium of fun – haven’t lost a single bit of their ingenuity over time, and as we enter their “Haus Of The Rising Fun,” there’s definitely no way to escape from their humorous seduction. This Franconian-Swabian union promises J.B.O. at their finest, brought to you in the best possible…errr… pink way, of course!”
In J.B.O.’s more than 35-year history, stagnation has never been an option and 2025 is no exception after all. Despite the aforementioned jubilee celebrations are still lasting until the end of October and the street date of “Haus Of The Rising Fun” has only been set for January 9, 2026, the four-piece will already officially pop the corks next month. Their new single ‘Ka-Fump!’ is inspired by Shania Twain’s 2002 hit song ‘Ka-Ching!,’ and will present fans with nothing but a beer-thirsty interpretation of the world-famous track. Due out on Wednesday, May 21, ‘Ka-Fump!’ can be pre-saved now, here: https://jbo.rpm.link/kafumpPR
J.B.O. are ready to make even the darkest souls smile with their unique musical shenanigans, and the announcement of further details about “Haus Of The Rising Fun” is really just a matter of time. Put on your pink armour, the ‘defenders of true nonsense’ are returning! Cheers!

Heavy guitars and German lyrics combined with Franconian sense for nonsense don’t work? Way off the mark! Since 1989, J.B.O. have multiply proven that they’re the real masters of comedy metal – over the course of 14 studio albums to be concrete. Additionally awarded with two gold records, the quartet are mostly known for covering hit songs by artists of different genres, giving them a unique twist through re-written lyrics with an extra portion of humour.
Their original tracks shouldn’t remain unnoticed nevertheless since they also popularise with not minor jocular lyrical content. Fan favourites such as ‘Ein guter Tag zum Sterben’ [‘A Good Day To Die’] are classics of the band’s repertoire and vital parts of each and every J.B.O. concert.
From die-hard old-school metalheads to families and kids and fans beyond the hard’n’heavy boundaries: Their wide range of musical inspiration has resulted in an equally varied amount of followers which sees J.B.O. unite all sorts of people under their multicoloured musical roof and especially in front of the stages, making them even more outstanding amidst the heavily crowded world of artists out there.
