Progressive death metal masters FALLUJAH have revealed the second single, ‘Labyrinth of Stone,’ from their upcoming 6th album, Xenotaph, that’s due out June 13th from Nuclear Blast Records.
Commenting on the new single, founding guitarist Scott Carstairs states: “‘Labyrinth of Stone’ is nearly six minutes of pure, mind-bending tech death and prog. From start to finish, this track will tear your face off. We guarantee you’ve never heard Fallujah like this before. Prepare your ear holes and eyeballs for one of the most ridiculous tracks and music videos we’ve ever produced.”
Speaking about the album, vocalist Kyle Schaefer says: “We are excited to finally reveal Fallujah’s new album Xenotaph, marking the sixth chapter in our discography. This is our most ambitious record yet, and is certainly the band’s most technical, dynamic and progressive material to date. The music carried out by these eight tracks is matched with an equally ambitious concept, a lyrical story that traverses unfolding layers of time and reality in an otherworldly, post-death realm of existence. Xenotaph is also our most collaborative album, with broad input from the current lineup leading us to expand the scope of our songwriting while simultaneously highlighting the true potential of everyone involved. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming this bold new stage of the band’s evolution.”
July 11, 2025 will see Vienna, Austria-based glam metal act Mädhouse release their much-awaited new studio album “Plead The Fifth” via ROAR. Today, the band is premiering a music video for their latest, high-voltage single “Wicked Hearts”!
“Toxic relationship? Bring it on,” comments guitarist Mikky Stixx about the new single. “As long as the poison satisfies my desire. Wicked hearts can’t be tamed!”
Formed in 2017 by Mikky Stixx, Mädhouse‘s origins trace back to a spontaneous Hard N’ Heavy show, where 18 rock musicians gathered, leading to the band’s creation. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Ratt, Mädhouse blends the raw energy of classic glam metal with a modern hard rock edge. Their sound is unmistakable—gritty riffs, anthemic choruses, and an unapologetic attitude that demand attention. Since their debut, the band has continuously evolved while staying true to their wild, rebellious spirit.
Their first album “Money Talks Bullshit Walks” (2019), introduced their high-energy style, followed by “Bad Habits” (2021), a more polished and aggressive follow-up. They further refined their sound with “Down ‘N’ Dirty” (2022), and now, their latest release, “Plead The Fifth”, pushes the boundaries even further with heavier riffs, bolder lyrics, and an electrifying presence!
Known for their explosive live performances and larger-than-life stage presence, Mädhouse continues to captivate audiences worldwide. The current line-up features Tommy Lovelace on vocals, Mikky Stixx and Thommy Black on guitars and backing vocals, Rickey Dee on bass, and Bobby B Bastard on drums. Together, they keep the spirit of glam metal alive, delivering high-octane rock that never backs down. With “Plead The Fifth”, they prove once again that glam metal is far from dead — it’s louder, bolder, and wilder than ever. Turn up the volume, join the madness, and let rock ‘n’ roll reign!
“Plead The Fifth” will be available on CD, limited Vinyl (incl. signed photocard) and in Digital formats on July 11st via ROAR. Pre-order your favorite choice of format now on:https://madhouse.rpm.link/pleadthe5thPR

Swedish death metal juggernaut UNDECAYED have just unleashed their crushing new single, “The World Shall Know Only Death”, taken from their upcoming debut album “In Death’s Image”, due out May 21st, 2025 via Lethal Scissor Records. True to the band’s vision, the track displays a raw, punishing style rooted in the brutal legacy of ’90s American death metal. With pummeling intensity that echoes Suffocation and Deicide, and a savage edge reminiscent of early Sinister and Severe Torture, “The World Shall Know Only Death” offers a relentless glimpse into the sonic carnage that awaits.
Likely the first album ever released with the word ‘death’ in the title of every song, “In Death’s Image” takes its thematic obsession to another level: in one track, the word for ‘death’ is even sung in 19 different languages. The album’s lyrics paint a grim and absolute vision of annihilation—”Death” arrives on Earth in a physical form, surpassing any concept of a god, to extinguish all existence. No one and nothing is spared: humans, animals, vegetation, water, air—everything dies. There is NO hope for life.
Tracklist:
1 – The World Shall Know Only Death 2 – Death’s Only Demand 3 – The Descendants Of Death 4 – In Death’s Image 5 – Death Shall Come (Death Shall Prevail) 6 – Death’s Pallid Coat 7 – World At Death’s Door 8 – Entreating Death In Vain 9 – The Greatest Death
All music composed by Mikael Bergman All lyrics written by Tony Richter Cover artwork by renowned artist Jon Zig
UNDECAYED was formed in August 2008 by Tony Richter (vocals) and Mikael Bergman (guitars) as a result of lineup issues in their respective bands, 9th Plague and Disromance. The two had played together in several bands throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, most notably Gardens of Obscurity and The Darksend. Initially, Richter and Bergman were joined by Disromance drummer Johnny Augustsson. Bassist Christoffer Svensson joined in 2009, and in 2014, drummer Jesper Leidbring replaced Augustsson.
The idea that every song should include the word “death” in its title emerged in 2010, both to emphasize that this was true DEATH metal and because such a concept had never been done before. The demo “The Triumph of Death” was recorded in late 2010 and released in January 2011. It was then decided that no further demos would be released before the debut album.
Over the years, family matters, work commitments, health issues, the loss of two rehearsal spaces, and lineup changes all contributed to periods of forced inactivity and delays. It wasn’t until the Covid-19 pandemic that the band was finally able to complete their album “In Death’s Image”.

Irish metal heavyweights Hero In Error have today announced the release of their brand-new single, “Echoes” — a standalone track following the success of their long-awaited self-titled EP last year.
Available now across all digital platforms,“Echoes” is a brooding, dynamic statement that reflects the band’s ever-evolving sound and their enduring bond as a musical brotherhood.
Speaking about the track, the band explained: “Since releasing our self-titled EP last year, we’ve been keeping the momentum going by writing and working on new material. Echoes came together pretty organically, starting with the heavier parts, with the chorus falling into place towards the end. The song really took shape during vocal tracking, thanks to input from Kaan and Justin Hill, who helped restructure it for a better overall flow. We’re really happy with how it turned out and hope friends and fans of the band enjoy it.”
In addition to the single, Hero In Error have announced two very special fundraiser shows in Dublin and Cork this month in support of their longtime friend and former bandmate Adam Moore, who has been living with multiple sclerosis for over 12 years. Adam, a crucial figure in the band’s history and a co-writer of their 2009 debut EP The High Points of New Lows, is currently undergoing several rounds of stem cell treatment aimed at improving his condition and quality of life.
All profits from both shows will go directly towards Adam’s ongoing treatment.
The shows are as follows: Thursday 24th April – The Soundhouse, Dublin With special guests Uragh and Solothurn Tickets Here Friday 25th April – Dali, Cork With special guests Worn Out, Codespeaker, and Nealo Tickets Here
Fans attending these shows can also pick up limited edition merch available exclusively on the night, with all proceeds going to the cause. “Adam has had a huge impact on us, both as a person and a musician, for over 20 years,” the band said. “These shows are about supporting him, but also about celebrating everything he’s been a part of.”
Formed in 2007, Hero In Error quickly made their mark with a string of explosive live shows and the release of their debut EP The High Points of New Lows in 2009 — a record that saw them rise to prominence within Ireland’s thriving metal and hardcore community.
Their return in 2024 saw them sell out venues throughout Ireland and plans are now underway for more shows this Summer. Listen to the self-titled EP here.
Known for their relentless energy, melodic aggression, and tight musicianship, the band has shared stages with acts like Parkway Drive, Architects, and Misery Signals, earning a reputation as one of Ireland’s most respected heavy outfits.

The award-winning roots-rock octet Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado reveal their video for “House Of Sticks,” which you can watch HERE.
“House Of Sticks is a modern delta style song,” says Risager. “With all the trouble going on in the world right now, it’s easy to feel that we’re sitting in a house of sticks and there’s a storm coming.”
“I would say that it’s my favourite track of the album.” I think it’s a really wonderful song. I didn’t write it, it was our guitarist Joachim Svensmark,” he says. “It’s not a 12-bar Delta blues but has a Delta vibe, while still sounding very fresh; I think writing this kind of Delta blues is tough.”
The song is taken from the album of the same name and was released by Provogue Records in January. “The album has been very well received and the audience love the new songs. We’ve played almost the entire new album on the first 34 concerts of our release tour,” he adds.
The band are a relentless touring machine and are frequently on the road, bringing their irresistible performances to the doting Black Tornado congregation. “A lot of the concerts so far have been sold out and the reception from our fans and the media has been incredible; from the reviews to airplay on radio stations across the world”
The song is the final taste of the album ‘House of Sticks’, which saw the singles Climbed A Mountain, Long Time Ago, Already Gone and Inner Light delight fans and critics alike. The album was recorded at Medley Studios and MillFactory NuVenue Studios in Copenhagen with Thorbjørn Risager, bassist Søren Bøjgaard and guitarist Joachim Svensmark as producers.
An unforgettable live experience, Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado have played their way through more than 20 countries and countless stages – from intimate jazz clubs to large festivals. Along the way, they have won four Danish Music Awards, ‘Best Band’ at the European Blues Awards and the prestigious German Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik Jahrespreis. The band’s explosive live shows and Thorbjørn Risager’s signature vocals have made them one of Scandinavia’s most prominent roots rock bands.
The band have spent the last two decades traversing Europe, covering almost every inch, over twenty countries, sweeping through the islands and mainland of their home country Denmark and through the rocky terrains and bright lights of Sweden, Finland and Norway countryside and cities. They’ve graced stages in the valleys and mountain regions in Switzerland and have circumnavigated Germany, France, The Netherlands as well as hurtling through Croatia, Greece, the UK and Spain. They’ve played aboard cruise ships, packed all eight members into smokey jazz bars to large theatres and captivated the biggest festival stages. Their euphoric blend of Blues’ n Roll has taken them as far as the US, Canada and India on their quest to enchant crowds.
