Death metallers NO RAZA, forged in the climes of Colombia and now firmly based in Florida, USA, have announced their highly anticipated new album “Tyrona”, slated to be released worldwide on May 16 via Noble Demon.
To give a taste of what’s to come, NO RAZA has unleashed “Overflowed”, the album’s first single, along with a brand new video. This track vividly encapsulates the band’s apocalyptic vision and their signature blend of cruelty and social commentary, making it a must-listen for any follower of the genre. The band’s commentary on “Overflowed” further emphasizes their message:
“We were once in balance with the land – connected, thriving, and guided by the wisdom of our ancestors. But time, greed, and blind ambition have shattered that harmony. The indigenous cultures that held the true essence of humanity have been silenced, erased by conquest, religion, and political hunger. Now, overpopulation consumes the earth, fueled by selfish interests and relentless violence. The cycle of destruction continues, as we poison the world that once sustained us. Have we strayed too far to turn back? Or can we still remember who we were before we lost our way?“
Formed in 1997, NO RAZA‘s amazing staging recreates the desolation of a world at war and the disposition to struggle of those who guard the truth to defend our ancestral cultures and defend what remains of a sick dying earth and demands justice and peace, to those who bring us under a power snatched from our hands.
Thorugh the years, the band has performed on international stages across Mexico, the UK, the USA, and Colombia, sharing the spotlight with renowned bands at major festivals and tours.
After releasing three solid full-length studio albums between 2004 and 2014, NO RAZA was one of the very first signings of Germany-based metal record label Noble Demon (est. 2019) and successfully released their latest masterpiece, “Transcending Material Sins”, back in 2020. Five years after that success, both entities join forces again, scheduling the next studio album “Tyrona” for a worldwide release on May 16, 2025.

40 years of “Power From Hell,” more than four decades of history: 2025 is a definite milestone in the career of UK thrashers ONSLAUGHT, recalling their roots and their iconic debut album, which saw the light of day in 1985. Comprised on two discs, the group will now release a career-inspiring album titled “Origins Of Aggression” on May 23, 2025 through their new label home, Reigning Phoenix Music. Disc 1 features a fine selection of ten re-recorded tracks from ONSLAUGHT’s early days [1982-1989], while disc 2 presents a colourful bouquet of cover versions of punk and metal songs that lead fans through the range of bands – from the DEAD KENNEDYS, THE EXPLOITED and DISCHARGE to JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH and beyond – defining the group’s sound.
Also to be found on the second part of the album will be ONSLAUGHT’s adaption of ‘Iron Fist,’ originally written and performed by MOTÖRHEAD, which is the first single off the forthcoming effort.
“What true metalhead doesn’t love MOTÖRHEAD? And we weren’t any different. In the early beginnings, I was still very much a novice on guitar and it was Lemmy, Phil, and Eddie that really drove our band in the metal direction from our hardcore punk roots. Myself, I actually learnt the whole “Live At Hammersmith” album – including all the solos – and it greatly improved my personal playing and knowledge of the guitar, it was a real learning curve for ONSLAUGHT and we would always jam the tracks at rehearsal and even sometimes live. So, the reason we chose ‘Iron Fist,’ apart from it being one of their heaviest, most aggressive songs, is that we got to tour with MOTÖRHEAD on the “Orgasmatron” tour in Europe 1987. We arrived at the Zurich venue, the first show for us, just as MOTÖRHEAD were about to start soundcheck. Lemmy struts out on the stage, stamps his foot four times and they crash into ‘Iron Fist’… WTAF… IT BLEW US ALL CLEAN AWAY… I’d never witnessed anything like it and that moment will never be forgotten and changed our lives as a band,” remembers founding member Nige Rockett (guitars).
Accompanied by a powerful music video, the single amplifies ONGLAUSHT’s trademark intensity and relentless energy. This ferocious cover is a nod to the band’s punk and metal roots, capturing the spirit of rebellion which is still running through their DNA.

Finnish progressive death metal band SARGASSUS is set to release their debut album ‘Vitruvian Rays’, out in June 2025 via Inverse Records. The first single ‘Spirit of Gravity’ is unleashed today.
‘Spirit of Gravity’ is a relentless onslaught on the listener that introduces both the fresh sound of the band as well as their new bass player Mertta Halonen. Being perhaps Sargassus’ heaviest song to date, it features aggressive blast beats and wailing tremolo riffs ornate with shrieks and guttural growls, much like in some modern black metal songs.
The song was initially formed around the peculiar blast beat that starts the song. Later the bunch worked all together on the song, refining it into what you’ll now know as ‘Spirit of Gravity’. Once the song felt complete enough, it was time to pen fitting lyrics. The chaotic nature of the song demanded the listener’s attention, so it only made sense to write the lyrics from the point of view of a rabidly preaching ritualist. With bass parts being composed last, they managed to highlight some groovier elements that can be found in Sargassus’ earlier works. The end result is something familiar, yet superlative.

Thematically ‘Spirit of Gravity’ centers around themes of rebirth, Nietzschean philosophy and conformity. The lyrics are structured like an occult ritual of renewal, where the participants ingest poisons to break free from a circular existence, but in typical Sargassus fashion the ritual is likened to a wildly inebriated communion. Structure and sincere practices are mirrored with chaos and natural human perversion, masking philosophical ponderings about the eternal recurrence and life’s immanent worth.
The band comments: ” ‘Spirit of Gravity’ is no doubt Sargassus’ heaviest song to date. While the song might showcase clear modern black metal influences, it is not without groovier and eerily calming passages. The chaotic nature of the song may partly reflect the whims of the band itself, but this oppressing feeling is also a key theme on the rest of the upcoming album. ‘Spirit of Gravity’ tells the story of an ecstatic ritual in occult fashion, while reflecting on philosophical aspects of eternal recurrence and life’s immanent worth.”
Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the signing of TRANSATLANTIC RADIO, an international AOR band that emerged during the global shutdown of 2020. Founded by Los Angeles-based Swedish bassist Victor Brodén, the band embodies the quintessential melodic rock sound reminiscent of the genre’s golden era. The label is excited to partner with the band to bring their authentic AOR sound to audiences worldwide. Fans can anticipate the release of their debut album later this year.

Brodén, with a career backing multi-platinum artists such as Richard Marx, LeAnn Rimes, and Dokken, seized the opportunity during the pause in touring to craft songs that serve as musical comfort food during uncertain times. To bring his vision to life, he reunited with University of Miami classmates guitarist R.J. Ronquillo and keyboardist Fred Kron. Their collaboration led to the formation of Transatlantic Radio.
Keyboardist Fred Kron, a film and television composer whose work has been featured in productions such as Anchorman 2, High School Musical 2, and 90210, has performed with legends such as Ringo Starr, Michelle Branch, and Joe Bonamassa. In addition to his role in Transatlantic Radio, Kron is a regular presence in the house band on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Guitarist R.J. Ronquillo brings experience from performing with artists like Ricky Martin, Stevie Wonder, and Stone Sour. Known for his influential YouTube guitar channel, Ronquillo’s acquisition of a vintage ‘80s Rockman effects unit propels Transatlantic Radio’s sound into classic AOR territory.
Drummer Chris Reeve, originally from Australia, began his U.S. career with the rock band Filter. Currently drumming for Avril Lavigne and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Reeve’s dynamic rhythms provide a solid foundation for Transatlantic Radio’s music. To enhance the band’s international flair, Brodén enlisted fellow Swede Mattias Osbäck. A prominent figure in southern Sweden’s rock scene and a high-ranking officer in the Swedish Navy, Osbäck contributes powerful vocals and co-writing expertise to the ensemble.
