Industrial Giants DIE KRUPPS to Join MINISTRY on 2025 North American Tour

Post-industrial provocateurs Die Krupps are set to ignite stages across North America this summer as direct support for the legendary Ministry on their highly anticipated 2025 tour.

The bill also includes performances from My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and Nitzer Ebb, and Die Kruups founder Jurgen Engler describes it as “The tour we have been awaiting for a long time.

“It’s the perfect package, a great line-up of bands, which for sure is exciting for the U.S. and Canadian fanbase, and for us! We have all met before in the past, so it will be like a one big happy family going out together.

“Also, Die Krupps haven’t done a full blown U.S/Canada tour in almost three decades. Now is the time for us to reconnect with our fans and show them that this band is far from retired! Hope to see you all soon, to the hilt!!!”

Just ahead of hitting the road, the band has unleashed their hypnotic new single, “Cinnamon Girl” — a dark, dirge-like homage to the sonic spirits of Neil Young (whose own “Cinnamon Girl” sounds nothing like this!) and Type O Negative.

Dripping in noir atmosphere and analog melancholy, the track also introduces the enigmatic Cinnamon Babe, a fast-rising star in the dark-pop underground whose voice floats through the song like smoke in a dim-lit motel room.

“‘Cinnamon Girl’is about memory, obsession, and the soft tragedy of stardom,” Engler continues. “We wanted it to feel like a furious version of that famous Blue Velvet backroom scene where Dennis Hopper is listening to ‘The Candy-Colored Clown Called The Sandman’.”

For more than four decades, Die Krupps have carved out a distinctive space in the modern underground. Originating from the same hometown as fellow robots Kraftwerk, blending brooding synths, jagged guitars, and dystopian visual aesthetics, their signature sound fuses electronic attacks with the visceral punch of Industrial Metal — a style critics have described as “what would happen if Bowie scored a horror film produced by Trent Reznor, if he was from Dusseldorf!

And, as “Cinnamon Girl” hits streaming platforms and Die Krupps take the stage with Ministry, fans can expect a thunderous live set soaked in high tension, lots of sweat, the notorious steelophone and electrified doom. Don’t miss it!

ODDLAND Share New Single And Video ‘Freefall’

Finnish progressive metal band ODDLAND are thrilled to share their new single and official music video, “Freefall”, available today via Frontiers Music Srl.

Stream “Freefall” HERE

The band commented on the new single: “Freefall” paints a picture of a repeating nightmare in sleep paralysis that feels like you are forever falling, without a way out. Like a broken record, you are forced to relive it again and again, but with the difference that you can’t get up and change it. Hopefully people will find this song a pleasant ‘nightmare’ that you really don’t mind listening to again and again!”

The song was mixed and mastered by the Grammy nominated producers Carson Slovak & Grant McFarland from Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Lorna Shore, Candlebox). The video for the song was shot by the band in various cities during Oddland’s European tour with Soen in October/November 2024, with additional cinematography during the tour’s last concert in Gdansk, Poland by Dariusz Feluz, who did an amazing job capturing the intense atmosphere on camera. The final editing and special effects were added by the band’s drummer Ville Viitanen.

Founded in 2003 in Turku, Finland, Oddland’s forward-thinking delivery melds aggressive tones, spacious textures, and glorious melodies into a seamless and cohesive entity. Following a string of successful demos, the band was signed to Century Media for the 2012 debut album, “The Treachery Of Senses”.

Mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö, the record was greeted with a barrage of critical acclaim, including praise from top-tier publications like Rock Tribune, Metal Hammer, Inferno, and many others, and praised as the best prog-metal record ever recorded in Finland.

Oddland recorded the magnificent follow-up album “Origin” at Fantom Studios (Insomnium, Korpiklaani, Oranssi Pazuzu) after which it was mixed and mastered by Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir) and release worldwide through Sensory Records in 2016.

Containing a bit more than forty-five minutes of music, the album bears a theme which ties deeply into the lyrics and extensive artwork, with a separate piece of art being created for each of the nine songs, by Egyptian artist Mohammed Essam.

Oddland have performed at several festivals including FME, Tuska, Headway, Næstved metalfest and Progpower Europe, been touring Europe three times, both as support act for Persefone, for Manticora and as split headliner, in addition to many shows alongside the likes of established acts including Soen, Leprous, Swallow the Sun and Omnium Gatherum. It’s a great live band that leaves nothing to be desired.

In February 2022, the band signed with the brand-new German label Uprising! Records (a sub-label of Target Group) and released their third album, “Vermilion”. With an insanely amazing production that takes the listener into the universe of Tool and mixes that super production with a perfect blend of musical twists that would startle any Leprous, Pain Of Salvation or even Faith No More fan, you just can’t go wrong with these Finnish masters of Prog.

“Vermilion” is nothing short of a production-wise masterpiece that combines all that prog-lovers love about prog. Mixed and mastered by Carson Slovak and Grant Mcfarland (Black Crown Initiate, Rivers Of Nihil, a.o.), with an eerie artwork, created by drummer/multi-talent Ville Viitanen, this album sees Oddland lifted to higher levels within the world of Heavy Metal.

Line Up:
Sakari Ojanen – Vocals, guitars
Joni Palmroth – Bass
Ville Viitanen – Drums
Jussi Poikonen – guitars

Rickert G. delivers a searing dose of melodic death metal with the lyric video for “Singularity”, taken from the album Endless Thoughts, out now via Wormholedeath.

A brutal odyssey through darkness, destruction, and defiance, “Singularity” is a relentless battle against oblivion. Torn apart, betrayed, and buried—yet rising stronger each time—this track channels raw intensity, catapulting listeners into the abyss where cosmic weight meets unbreakable will. Will you escape, or will you be consumed?

Born from the depths of trauma, Endless Thoughts is more than an album—it’s catharsis. A harrowing yet empowering narrative of descent and resilience, its eight evocative scenes paint a visceral portrait of struggle and survival.

Musically, Rickert G. fuses the crushing intensity of melodic death metal with a profound artistic vision. Fans of Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity, Opeth, At the Gates, and In Flames will feel right at home in this sonic maelstrom.

A multi-instrumentalist and composer, Rickert G. blends the raw aggression of metal with the depth of academic composition. Armed with a background in piano, audio production, and composition, his music is a visceral expression of pain, power, and perseverance.

THE MUCKS Release New Single ‘Need Your Love’, Out Tomorrow

Indie rock newcomers The Mucks from Coventry return with “Need Your Love”, on 24th April, out on Flip Flop Records — a soul-stirring representation of young love that is falling apart due to distance, commitments and growing up. Set against the backdrop of two people leaving for university, the track captures the quiet heartbreak of drifting apart, even when the feelings haven’t gone away.

Pre-save now at https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/themucks1/need-your-love

With emotionally raw vocals and lyrics that cut deep, “Need Your Love” channels the confusion, craving, and sadness of what once was. As one partner begins to move on, the narrator is left behind — reliving promises that were supposed to last forever.

“She used to call me in the morning / She kept on reassuring / Now it’s just a text once a day.”
“And I need your love / And I bleed your trust / The times we had we said will never end.”

The song builds with a slow and gradual build of strong vocals and instrumentation so the listener can get a feel of how desperate and fed up the narrator becomes. Full of red flags, unanswered questions, and the pain of watching someone become a stranger. “Need Your Love” is solely about the memory of a couple, which listeners can almost definitely relate to as they have to understand to let go of the things that are sometimes holding them back in life.

With this release, The Mucks continue to prove their gift for turning deeply personal moments into powerful, relatable anthems for a new generation.
For fans of: Inhaler, Sam Fender, The 1975 and the likes.

“Fans of shimmering guitar-based rock are in for a treat.” – Chordblossom
“The chorus is sure to get stuck in your head, and you’ll be thankful for that.” –
 Melodic Mag
“Fantastic sound for their debut single.
” – John Kennedy, Radio X

The Mucks are a 5-piece indie rock band formed in the heart of Coventry back in 2022. They have made a name for themselves in the west midlands indie music scene with a sold out headline show in Coventry at HMV Empire and multiple Birmingham gigs. The Mucks have taken fans by storm with their effortless take on modern indie rock that will for sure turn anyone’s head when they are turning it up to 11 on stage. They combine a mix of fast-paced, heart-felt, relatable sounds that can be understood by listeners of all ages.

The Mucks look to broaden their horizons in 2025 having already played shows in Liverpool and Manchester to showcase their take on the indie scene. Having worked at some well renowned studios across the UK with top producers, The Mucks are set to get as much of their music out as soon as it is perfected. Most recently having been down in Brighton at Salvation Music Studios with Nick Brine to record songs that are by far the best ones yet.

28th June, The Mucks play Deadwax, Birmingham – TICKETS

HATE Unleash Video for Title Track of Upcoming Album “Bellum Regiis”

Slavic black/death metal titans HATE are pleased to unleash the title track of their forthcoming new full-length, Bellum Regiis, set to drop on May 2nd on Metal Blade Records.

With a dozen ferocious and lauded albums since 1996’s Daemon Qui Fecit Terra, HATE‘s lucky thirteenth album, Bellum Regiis, finds the unrelenting Polish quartet forging a bolder and more aggressive style than ever. Bellum Regiis‘ nine songs see vocalist/guitarist ATF Sinner, guitarist Domin, drummer Nar-Sil, and bassist Tiermes honing a modern sound rife with eerie atmosphere and depth. Produced by David Castillo (Candlemass, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity,Katatonia) at Stockholm’s Grondahl Studio, Bellum Regiis is lyrically a more “humanity focused and personal” album than 2021’s Rugia while its songs are timely aural and visual exploration of, according to the vocalist, “a struggle for power and everything that comes with it.”

Watch / Stream HATE’s “Bellum Regiis” HERE

Bellum Regiis roughly translates to “A War of Royalty” or “A War of Kings” and the title track encompasses the LP’s leitmotif. “As a song, ‘Bellum Regiis’ has both a deep melancholy and a sense of grandeur,” notes the frontman. “The vocals laid down by Eliza Sacharczuk [a renowned singer and voice teacher who runs a holistic arts center in Bialystok] give the song a strong sense of time. Whether that’s nostalgia, reminiscence, regret, or preparation for the future is in the eye of the beholder. These wars, these struggles, have been ongoing since the dawn of our existence. Whether they are futile or not, they are scars on our very nature. ‘Bellum Regiis’ represents the whole album in the best way possible.”

Watch HATE‘s previously released video for “Iphigenia” HERE.

Find pre-orders at: metalblade.com/hate

Forged in Warsaw in 1990, HATE has been hailed as a “hallmark of consistency,” and praised as a “sleek and tight death metal monster.” Since 2017’s Tremendum, the band has focused on nature and its mysteries as a main source of inspiration. As Sinner explains, “Whether that’s the nature within us, around us or that we see from afar, the perspectives gained and how they relate to different overarching themes have driven each album.” For instance, 2019’s Auric Gates of Veles focused on death, the Slavic perception of death in particular. Six years later, Bellum Regiis delves into “humanity and why are we, as creatures, so deeply motivated by concepts like power, wealth, glory and faith. The main theme is a struggle for power and everything that comes with it.” Fans may notice some commonality between Erebos and Bellum Regiis in the character of the compositions and overall sound, with Bellum Regiis being richer in style and with more black-metal elements to it. “Between female vocals, orchestration, samples, acoustic guitars, there are a lot of moving pieces that help set this album apart,” says Sinner. “My vocals have also changed quite a bit over the years. They’re more nuanced and wider-ranging, able to portray emotions and meanings in a more powerful way.“

HATE will join Venom Inc. and Krisiun for a European tour later this Spring. In October, the band will support Vltimas on a Latin American tour followed by a short run of headlining shows through Poland in November. See all confirmed dates below.
