Moonlight Haze has released a video for “Chase The Light”, second single taken from the new album “Beyond” to be released on May 23 by Scarlet Records.

An incredibly uplifting and direct metal anthem that includes basically all the trademark features of the band. The audience will be totally carried away by the extremely catchy melodies and upbeat lyrics. The chorus sounds almost like a mantra encouraging the listener to look on the bright side of life and to glow up. “Chase The Light” is going to be one of the future staples in the live set-list of the band for sure, with a chorus that will get stuck in your brain for hours.

Lead by sensational frontwoman Chiara Tricarico (currently one of the live vocalists of Avantasia and special guest on the “Highlights From The Revenge Of Odysseus” 2022 Manowar EP), Moonlight Haze has joined forces with extraordinary producer Sascha Paeth for their fourth studio album.

“Beyond” is a perfect mixture of heavy, melodic and super catchy songs recorded in the old fashioned way with little to no edits – Moonlight Haze went ʻorganicʼ this time, with a little help from Sascha Paeth that was able to make some of the classic features of the band emerge and shine even more.

The Italian unit keeps delivering its trademark killer refrains while exploring new musical territory, further experimenting throughout ten tracks highlighted by yet another stellar vocal performance courtesy of Chiara Tricarico.

Moonlight Haze’s fourth record is a journey through time and space, galactic landscapes and earthly elements; a never-ending quest for a deeper reality and a purest inner truth. Soul searching symphonic power metal, if you please.

Finnish melodic doom metallers RED MOON ARCHITECT have delivered their highly anticipated sixth studio album, “October Decay”, released today via Noble Demon. This marks the band’s first full-length offering in five long years, and judging by early listens, it was well worth the wait.

Hailing from Kouvola, Finland, RED MOON ARCHITECT have consistently carved a respected niche within the doom metal scene, earning critical acclaim with each release. Originally the solo vision of drummer Saku Moilanen, the project has evolved through various iterations to its current potent lineup, fronted by the compelling vocals of Ville Rutanen.

Following their 2020 Noble Demon release, “Emptiness Weighs The Most”, “October Decay” stands as another significant chapter in RED MOON ARCHITECT‘s impressive discography. Their sonic journey has seen them traverse diverse landscapes, notably with 2019’s “Kuura”, which ventured into darker, black metal-tinged territories. Earlier albums like “Fall” (2015) and “Return of the Black Butterflies” (2017) further illustrate their evolution and unwavering dedication to crafting deeply resonant doom metal. Over their tenure, RED MOON ARCHITECT have solidified their reputation not only through their studio work but also by sharing stages with genre titans such as Amorphis, Swallow The Sun, Moonsorrow, Insomnium, and Wolfheart, and by gracing the stages of numerous metal festivals.

“October Decay” is out now on Noble Demon and available for purchase at THIS LOCATION

Tracklist:

  1. Frozen Tomb
  2. The Depths
  3. Decay Of Emotions

Blackened doom project INCINERATION IN THE INFINITE returns with a new offering of sonic devastation—the music video for “The Gates of Daemons”, taken from the EP Serpent’s Tongue, out now via Wormholedeath.

This visual companion to “The Gates of Daemons” plunges viewers into a ritualistic haze, capturing the EP’s raw intensity and unrelenting darkness. With a minimalistic, yet crushing songwriting approach, Incineration in the Infinite harnesses the rebellious pulse of Punk Rock, the bone-rattling depth of Stoner Metal, and the oppressive atmospheres of Doom Metal, delivering a sound that is as primal as it is punishing.

and vocalist.

Adopted in 2014, this pseudonym is a nod to the nightmarish yet fragile work of NICO, who in many ways deconstructed the unbearable myth of ‘femininity’ imposed on us.

Musically, MÜTTERLEIN mixes Post-Punk savagery, Doom, Noise, Industrial and Black Metal to create a vast universe of Post-Metal experimentation.

First album, “Orphans Of The Black Sun” – released in 2016 on Sundust Records, a label co-run by Vindsval from BLUT AUS NORD – leaned towards the Post-Punk and Doom registers using minimalist, cold instrumentation to create a record organic and ritualistic as a witch-dance around a fire.

In 2020, MÜTTERLEIN responded to an invitation by the artist LIMBES (ex-BLURR THROWER) to create a mirror piece to his epic 25 minute track entitled “Vérité” (French for Truth) for a split release issued in 2021 by LADLO. The free format allowed MÜTTERLEIN to experiment even further, constructing a slow, desolate dreamscape of doom-laden Dark Ambient.

“Bring Down The Flags“, MÜTTERLEIN‘s second album, was released in late 2021 by Debemur Morti Productions. Dark, haunting and immediate, the album incorporated more electronic sounds and blackened Industrial atmospheres to serve a more direct subject and voice.

After a couple of years performing both solo and alongside TREHA SEKTORI following the release of “Bring Down The Flags“, Marion helped forge a new entity, EITRIN, in collaboration with Dehn Sora (THROANE, TREHA SEKTORI) and Vindsval (BLUT AUS NORD). The alliance was conceived to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Debemur Morti Productions, with an instinctive and impassioned self-titled debut album released in December 2023. As a crowning moment, both MÜTTERLEIN and EITRIN graced the stage at the label’s own Servants of Chaos festival in October 2024.

In early 2025, MÜTTERLEIN unveiled plans for a third album, “Amidst the Flames, May Our Organs Resound“, a work that delves into the profound scars left by oppression throughout history. Anchored by an abrasive and darkly cinematic industrial soundscape, “Amidst the Flames…” is set to be released on May 9th.

MARGANTHA Unveil Title Track of Upcoming Debut EP “Blood Moon Sacrifice”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 18, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MARGANTHA. Leave a comment

Rockshots Records proudly presents MARGANTHA, a black metal band born from a shared artistic vision rooted in darkness, atmosphere, and storytelling. Conceived by experienced musicians from the extreme music scene, the project was founded on the idea of anonymity, removing names, past projects, and expectations to let the music speak for itself.

Their debut EP, Blood Moon Sacrifice, will be released on June 27, 2025. It is a concept work based on a legend passed down orally through generations. The tale, told to the vocalist as a child by his grandmother, tells of a werewolf haunting a hunter’s village at the foot of a remote mountain range. This myth gave birth to a collection of songs designed not simply to be listened to but to be experienced in full immersion.

The EP was mixed and mastered at Sonic Train Studio by legendary guitarist and producer Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), adding an extra layer of depth and sonic intensity to the work.

The band comments:

“We always begin with the concept. The music follows naturally, often starting with a guitar riff or arpeggio, and evolving through a collaborative process. We’re not interested in technical exhibitionism. Every choice serves the narrative. The resulting material is raw, evocative, and direct—true to the spirit of black metal, but enriched with depth and atmosphere.”

MARGANTHA’s sound draws inspiration from the evocative power of Mgła, the intensity of Uada and Gaerea, and the epic darkness of Naglfar and Behemoth, while also channeling the spirit of legendary pioneers like Celtic Frost, Venom, and King Diamond. The songs are structured to be memorable, immediate, and fully aligned with the conceptual vision of the record.

While the band is just beginning its journey, their identity is already clear—both musically and visually. Their approach to live shows reflects the same energy: tight, relentless, and impactful. Inspired by iconic performances where the music speaks louder than words, Margantha aims to deliver live sets that are immersive from start to finish, with minimal breaks and maximum emotional charge.

The first single and title track from Blood Moon Sacrifice is out now.
