Metal giants ICED EARTH have posted some new updates via their official Facebook page, showing the fans that they are now in rehearsals for the 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise, which takes place from 4-8th February. The band stated several days ago:
“Brothers and sisters,
We are closer to beginning our journey on the high seas of heavy metal. Arrrgggghhhhh!!!
Rehearsals start Monday and the whole team is pumped up big time!
70,000 Tons of Metal here we come!

Since their 2014 release “Plagues Of Babylon” guitarist and mainman Jon Schaffer had a cervical fusion operation which he successfully recovered from and the band have also released some of their past classic albums on vinyl, including “Something Wicked This Way Comes”, “Horror Show” and “Days Of Purgatory”. ICED EARTH have also been preparing a new studio and headquarters in preparation for their new recordings.
