A MILLION MILES Split, New Band Line Up Under Progress

After 5 years, numerous shows all over Europe and the just released & critical acclaimed debut album ‘What’s Left Behind’, German based heavy metal band A MILLION MILES from Hamburg have just announced that they have split and parted ways. The band commented the split on their page as following:

“This is a very sad day for us … After 5 years of pouring our hearts and souls into this band, after years of heavily touring and making the best experiences & memories for us as a band & family, and after we have just released our first album, with a heavy heart but due to personal reasons and difficulties inside our band camp, A Million Miles have split. Like in a marriage, deep relationship or longtime love, sometimes things just don´t work out. This is a very dark day for us, but this is NOT the end of A Million Miles. Our girl Mona is going to keep the spirit of AMM alive, there will be a new band line up soon and A Million Miles will be back! Thanks to everyone for the support & rock love over all these years, everyone who believed in us & our music, and everyone who just got the chance to discover us. Although times are tough at the moment, we like to ask those of you who have bought a copy of our new album ‘What’s Left Behind’ to please continue to listen to it in the spirit of which it was recorded and enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. For those who haven´t got a copy yet you can purchase one via Amazon, EMP or iTunes and stay tuned to our page for future updates. We’re very sorry, but there was no other way to go, please stay strong with us & keep supporting A Million Miles.”

In only a few days, German based Heavy Metal band A MILLION MILES are finally going to release their long awaited debut album What’s Left Behind, scheduled to hit the stores April 5th 2013 on Abandon Records via New Music Distribution.

Produced by Eike Freese of Dark Age at the Hammer Studios in Hamburg (Gamma Ray), A Million Miles have just announced the exclusive online stream and free album preview of 3 brandnew songs to celebrate the release of their upcoming album! Classic Heavy Metal meets Groove, Thrash, Hardcore & Stoner, the unique voice of frontwoman Mona Miluski and a natural but mordern metal sound.

After heavily touring the metal underground throughout Europe, German Heavy Metal band A MILLION MILES have just recently announced the release of their debut album What’s Left Behind, coming out April 5th 2013 on Abandon Records / New Music Distribution.

A MILLION MILES Sign Deal With Abandon Records, New Album Coming April 2013

The heavy, do-it-yourself, Hamburg based metal band A Million Miles are proud to announce their recent signing with German label Abandon Records for their long awaited debut album ‘What’s Left Behind’ scheduled to hit stores on April 5th, 2013 via New Music Distribution!

After 4 years of heavily touring the metal underground of Europe, A Million Miles signed a publishing deal with Enorm Music, the publishing company of Wacken / ICS in early 2012 and entered the Hammer Studios Hamburg ( Gammy Ray ) with Eike Freese of Dark Age to record their first full-length album.

“It’s been a long hard road for us as a band and we’re excited about this chapter of A Million Miles with our new album which we’ve poured our hearts and souls into making. After having played these songs for the last few years on tour, we are looking forward to sharing them on record with all our friends and fans of our band who, like us, have been anxiously awaiting our release. Finding the right home and producer was important for us and it was worth the wait. We’re pleased to have signed with Abandon and working with Eike Freese in the studio was an inspiring experience for all of us. He captured the natural beauty & understood our sound, it allowed us to be ourselves and much like we are on stage without over production.” said lead vocalist Mona Miluski.
