ADRENALINE MOB: To Release Their Debut Full Length Album

American metallers ADRENALINE MOB are about to release their debut full length album “Omertá ” via Century Media Records on March 19th, 2012. The album includes 11 tracks and it was produced by ADRENALINE MOB and mixed by Jay Ruston known for his work on Anthrax’s Worship Music and Steel Panther’s “Balls Out”. ADRENALINE MOB – featuring drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-DREAM THEATER), vocalist Russell Allen (SYMPHONY X), guitarist Mike Orlando, and bassist John Moyer (DISTURBED) – have updated their live schedule for the summer. It is now as follows:

The band recently issued the following update:

“That’s right, we are officially returning to the Hiro Ballroom in NYC for a very special CD Release Event. We’re celebrating the release of our new CD, Omertà, as well as our first performance with John Moyer! Tickets will go on sale later today. We’ll have a ticket link for you once it goes live so please check back here later!”

According to a press release: 2012 is shaping up to be some year for Adrenaline Mob. The band, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Russell Allen, the shredding guitar attack of Mike Orlando and the drumming virtuosity of Mike Portnoy, just found the missing piece their lineup needed. John Moyer, half of the rhythmic backbone of multi platinum rock juggernauts Disturbed, is stepping in to fill the recently vacated bass player spot. They all got together and after one jam session, the band knew they had found the newest member of the family. John will be making his on-stage debut with Adrenaline Mob on March 12th when they play their record release event at Hiro Ballroom in New York City.

Says Moyer: “Mike Portnoy called me about auditioning for his new band Adrenaline Mob. He had heard through the grapevine that I was looking to stay busy while Disturbed is on hiatus. After jamming with Russ, MO, and Portnoy, the chemistry as musicians was undeniable. I am super stoked about joining “The Family” and I can’t wait to hit the road with these guys and see what kind of musical mayhem we can create!”

Adrenaline Mob will release their debut full-length album, Omertá, on March 13th. Serving as the follow-up to Adrenaline Mob’s self-titled EP, Omertá will be released in North America by the newly formed Elm City Music in conjunction with EMI Label Services. Century Media Records has announce a licensing deal to release the album on March 19th in Europe.

Omertá was produced by Adrenaline Mob and mixed by Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER), and will feature the following 11 songs:

ADRENALINE MOB: Announce New Bassist And European Festivals

American heavy metallers ADRENALINE MOB have recently annonced via a post on their official facebook page that John Moyer will be the new bassist of the band.

“Sending out a huge thanx to all the incredible Adrenaline Mob fans & friends for your amazing support in welcoming bassist John Moyer to our family! Myself & the guys are psyched as hell to kick off the Omerta 2012 Tour! Lookin forward to meeting each & everyone of you all around the globe!! Adrenaline Mob in 2012…Oh it’s on!! \m/ All the best!” Mike Orlando posted.

Allen then reached out to long-time friend Portnoy to see if he had any interest in playing with them. Portnoy jumped on-board and from the very first note, the chemistry and sound was apparent and the beast that is known as ADRENALINE MOB was born.

ADRENALINE MOB — the new band featuring drummer Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD), SYMPHONY X frontman Russell Allen, guitar virtuoso Mike Orlando (SONIC STOMP), bassist Paul DiLeo and STUCK MOJO/FOZZY axeman Rich Ward — will release its full-length debut, “Omertá”, on March 13 via the newly formed Elm City Music in conjunction with EMI Label Services. The 11-song CD — which was produced by ADRENALINE MOB and mixed by Jay Ruston, who has previously worked on ANTHRAX‘s “Worship Music” and STEEL PANTHER‘s “Balls Out” — includes a blistering reinterpretation of DURAN DURAN‘s classic “Come Undone” featuring guest vocals by Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM.

The self-titled debut EP from ADRENALINE MOB, which was released last summer, is available via iTunes and is being sold in physical form at the group’s shows and online store. Self-produced by the band, the effort features four original tracks as well as a cover of the Ronnie James Dio-era BLACK SABBATH classic “The Mob Rules”.

ADRENALINE MOB‘s first-ever headline tour made stops in various markets, including Chicago, Denver and San Francisco. ADRENALINE MOB also opened for GODSMACK on select dates of the Massachusetts act’s headlining tour.

ADRENALINE MOB formed in early 2011 when Orlando approached Allen with some material the guitarist had written. Allen and Orlando refined those ideas, at which time Allen reached out to longtime friend Portnoy to see if he had any interest in playing with them. Portnoy jumped on board and soon thereafter DiLeo and Ward were recruited to join the family.
