Triumphant return of the highly esteemed Indian metallers AGAINST EVIL, announcing their new album “Give ‘Em Hell”, set to be released on July 12th. Furthermore the band has revealed a video for ‘Give ‘Em Hell’.

The band says about the new title track:
“‘Give ‘Em Hell‘ is a pretty straightforward meat & potatoes kinda Heavy Metal song, packed with rapid-fire riffs, explosive bass & drums, high octane vocals, and a blistering solo. Guitarist Shasank has a lot to say about the new full-length release:
“Songwriting for the album began sometime in June 2023 when we got back from our second successful European tour. We only had one song idea to start with and had to write the rest from scratch, but since we were all pumped up thanks to the kick-ass response we received during the tour, the remaining songs came together pretty quickly and we completed the writing process by December.

In terms of songwriting, the approach was the same as always and we didn’t consciously do anything different or try to reinvent the wheel! Our approach has always been to keep ti simple and write songs that give us the same feel and excitement we get when listening to our favorite Heavy Metal bands such as Judas Priest or Accept to name a few. We are extremely happy with the end result and we hope you like ti as much as we do.”  [ learn more here ]

Indian heavy metal sensation AGAINST EVIL first enthralled listeners when they released their debut ‘Fatal Assault’ on the Indian sub-label of Transcending Obscurity. Three years later, they conjure up enough material to release their debut full length titled ‘All Hail The King’ (out April 6th, 2018) which includes their famous song “Stand Up And Fight!” (watch below) whose official video went viral. Their artwork has once again been made by the Croatian artist All Things Rotten (Hirax) and for the first time, there is a guest appearance by Jeff Loomis (Nevermore, Arch Enemy). No stone has been left unturned here in delivering a high quality, anthemic heavy metal album that would hold appeal to just about any metal fan. This here is honest-to-goodness music from a region that still loves its metal the old school way.

India’s Heavy Metal Troupe AGAINST EVIL Release New Video

Hailing from the city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (India), heavy metallers AGAINST EVIL have released a video for their brand new single “Stand Up And Fight!”, watch it below.

Lead guitarist Shasank comments on the song: «”Stand Up and Fight!” is all about having the courage to confront your fears and to fight for what’s right. We’ve always wanted to do a music video for one of our songs and we felt this was the right song to do so. We also came up with a simple story line based on the song and wanted to include that in the music video.»

The musician also spoke about their crowdfunding campaign which helped this video to become a reality: «We didn’t want to compromise on the quality of our music video and wanted it to match the production and standards set by our debut album “Fatal Assault”. That’s why we launched a campaign on the popular crowd-funding site “Indiegogo” to help us raise funds for this music video. We are very thankful to everyone who has supported our campaign and helped us in the making of this music video. We are very happy and proud of what it turned out to be!»

The band’s debut album “Fatal Assault” was released last year through Transcending Obscurity.

AGAINST EVIL: Release Debut Single ‘War Hero’

Heavy metal band AGAINST EVIL based in Vishakapatnam, India have released their debut single titled ‘War Hero’, via Demonstealer Records. The band plays classic heavy metal and is made up of members Shasank (Guitars), Sravan (Guitars/Vocals), Siri Sri (Bass/Vocals) and Noble John (Drums).

Guitarist Shasank commented, “This song reminds us of a battlefield where the soldiers have to stand up and fight their own fears to destroy the enemy. It’s IN YOUR FACE kinda Heavy Metal – Louder than the War Itself!”

AGAINST EVIL: Reveal Artwork For New Single

Born from the ashes of a very successful hard rock cover band called ECHOES, residing in Vishakapatnam India, comes AGAINST EVIL a brand new band. Put together by band members: Shasank (Guitars), Sravan (Guitars/Vocals), Siri Sri (Bass/Vocals) and Noble John (Drums), AGAINST EVIL  is focused on making a mark in the Indian metal scene by performing their own style of heavy metal music across the country.

The band will be releasing their first single titled ‘War Hero’ on the 26th of February via Demonstealer Records.
