J.Ahola, the vocalist, bass player and one of three songwriters for the successful Finnish heavy metal band, Teräsbetoni has issued the following update on his myspace page:

“Hi guys! Here’s what’s going on right now:
I sang one track on Pispalassa jytää-album (“Hengitä sisko”), that contains songs of Coitus Int. and Juice Leskinen. The CD will be released in 20.10.2010 – meaning this wednesday! You can hear other artists like Pauli Hanhiniemi (Kolmas Nainen), Heikki Salo (Miljoonasade), Pate Mustajärvi (Popeda), Olli Lindholm (Yö), Heikki Silvennoinen (Kummeli), Mikko Alatalo & Erja Lyytinen. The profit of the CD will be donated to the Federation Of Mother And Child Homes & Shelters.  So, we are on a good mission here. You can buy the CD and be a part of this donation.

“Oulu All Star Big Band & J.Ahola-album will be released this month as well. The exact day is 29th of October.  The album is a cool mixture of mostly old heavy and hard rock songs arranged for a big band – a jazzy one. It’s bravely mixed thinking today’s standards of sound: no tuning, no effects, no super polishing – just the band and the vocals.
