The Official Anvil Metal Pounders Union Worldwide is the Official fan club of Canada’s Metal power trio, ANVIL. The original incarnation of the Metal Pounders Union was founded in the early 80’s. In 2011 is was reincarnated with the intention of fulfilling it’s original vision of uniting fans for the cause of supporting Anvil and the Heavy Metal genre. It’s a place that people can come, to feel a sense of belonging. People want to belong to something, that’s what it’s turned into. It’s like a special family, it feels like they’re all connected to each other.

The AMPU is run by Robb Reiner – Drummer of ANVIL in conjunction with Dalila Kriheli (“SisterD#0222”) of rockstarpix.com. Currently, the AMPU meets on Facebook & Twitter. The Union has plans to open a dedicated website (www.Anvil-Metal-Pounders-Union.com) in 2012.
