UK’s heavy rockers I, ASSASSIN have announced their new singer, Ashley-James Peters, read more below:

I, ASSASSIN was formed by 4 individuals, but over the course of 2 years became a brotherhood. Since 2017 we’ve played some amazing shows, competed in national competitions, released a debut EP and had fun every step of the way. Unfortunately, with success comes increased responsibility and commitment, and as 2018 progressed it became clear that our vision and ambition transcended what was possible for our founding singer, Adrian Turner – a dedicated father of three – and with heavy hearts we amicably parted ways at the beginning of this month.

Since then we’ve been utterly humbled by the interest that we’ve had from singers far and wide, and of the selection that we invited to audition we’ve been left in awe at the talent and diversity they displayed. However, we could only pick one, and one artist simply ticked every box we had on our wish list and we were thrilled when he accepted our offer to join this brotherhood and be the face and voice of this brave and exciting new chapter. It is with great pleasure that we introduce the new front man of I, Assassin; – Ashley-James Peters. Former frontman of Rolo Benz, Ashley is 29 and resides in Shrewsbury, the band’s hometown.

Ash wrote: “I’m buzzing to be joining the lads in I, Assassin! I’m very eager to be making music again and can’t wait to get back onstage and perform after a short time away from it – and to be doing it with such a talented group of musical beasts is beyond exciting; it’s going to be sick! Next stop: World domination!”

I, ASSASSIN are thrilled with this announcement, and couldn’t believe our luck to find such a talent right on our doorstep in Shrewsbury! We began this month torn and daunted by the uncertain path ahead, but we end it with a renewed fire and excitement that’s hard to convey. We salivate like hungry wolves as we look ahead to a future without limitations – we line up on the starting line once again, and this time the handbrake is firmly off! We are back, we are driven, we are I, ASSASSIN.

I, ASSASSIN are a high-energy, dynamic and exciting 4-piece heavy rock weapon forged in the darkest corner of Shropshire, UK.
