AUDIOTOPSY: Premiere New Song ‘The Calling’

AUDIOTOPSY, the powerhouse foursome featuring guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hell Yeah), drummer Matt McDonough (Mudvayne), vocalist Billy Keeton (Skrape) and bassist Perry Stern will release their debut album “Natural Causes” on 2nd October via Napalm Records.

Until now only one song from “Natural Causes” has been unleashed on the public. That song entitled ‘Headshot’ can be heard here. Today AUDIOTOPSY presents the second offering from their explosive debut album. Get a first listen to ‘The Calling’ here.

Vocalist Billy Keeton commented on the new single : “The Calling” is about that slow burning flame that burns inside every artist. It is slow and constant and all the emotions like love, hate and pain that come with it are “our” calling…”This is our calling”…”

Self-produced at The Porch Studio in Orlando, Florida with engineer Tim Laud, the guys maintained their singular perspective with “Natural Causes”. “The focus was to write solid, hooky, big riff songs,” declares Greg. “We didn’t want to sound or look like every other band. It’s not supposed to be regular. We’re all building this vision together.” Merging intricate instrumentation with a seamless knack for melody, they conjured up a style as heavy as it is hypnotic. “We got a vibe going”, states Greg. You could call it ‘Progressive Hard Rock’.” With extensive tour plans in the works, it will undoubtedly be a very busy remaining 2015 and beyond for AUDIOTOPSY.

Recent Napalm Records signees AUDIOTOPSY, the powerhouse foursome featuring guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hell Yeah), drummer Matt McDonough (Mudvayne), vocalist Billy Keeton (Skrape) and bassist Perry Stern will release their debut album “Natural Causes” on August 28th. Today the stunning artwork, track listing and first song have been revealed.

Album opener ‘Headshot’ pairs a slithering riff and steamrolling percussion with an anthemic punch. “It’s from the point-of-view or the eyes of, not necessarily a soldier, but anybody who’s in battle and in the trenches”, states Billy. “Metaphorically speaking, it’s life through the eyes of somebody fighting a battle.”

With extensive tour plans in the works, it will undoubtedly be a very busy remaining 2015 and beyond for AUDIOTOPSY. For now, they urge you to simply close your eyes, open your mind, and let Natural Causes do the talking for them.

AUDIOTOPSY: Sign With Napalm Records

AUDIOTOPSY, the powerhouse new band featuring guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hell Yeah), drummer Matt McDonough (Mudvayne), vocalist Billy Keeton (Skrape) and bassist Perry Stern have signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records. Their debut album is scheduled for release in the fall 2015.

“AUDIOTOPSY is the band that has been waiting to happen,” says Greg. “All the stars aligned and here we are. It’s some of the best music I’ve been a part of. We all cannot wait for everyone to hear it and we’re excited to join forces with Napalm to make it all happen! See ya on tour!”

“We are thrilled to announce that AUDIOTOPSY has signed with Napalm Records! All of the members have already left their mark on the music scene with different groups before and we’re glad to be part of the AUDIOTOPSY story that will certainly follow suit! The debut record will be released later this year and leave no doubt that this is a highly creative and innovative group of musicians,” states Napalm Records Vice President Thomas Caser.

Extensive tour plans are in the works for what will undoubtedly be a very busy remaining 2015 and beyond in support of the new album. So expect much more news from these guys in the weeks and months ahead.
