According to Gulf Daily News, legendary German hard rock legends the SCORPIONS will perform at next month’s Bahrain F1, organisers confirmed yesterday.
The GDN exclusively revealed last week that the best-selling German band will take to the stage at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) on April 5 – the same day as global superstar and Grammy-nominated DJ Avicii.
“It is an absolute delight to have rock legends like the Scorpions come to Bahrain and be part of our 10th anniversary Grand Prix celebrations,” said BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa.
“We are truly privileged to have them performing live at BIC on such a momentous occasion, and are confident that both sporting and music fans alike will be treated to yet another unforgettable entertainment spectacle during the race weekend.”
Tickets for the Formula One are now on sale, with prices ranging from BD150 for the Main Grandstand to BD60 for the University and Victory Grandstands.
