“First and foremost, Bruno Mars is an incredible artist and performer! It was so much fun to take such an amazing pop song and make it metal. The lyrics and concept of the original just seemed to perfectly fit the more aggressive instrumental we created. As huge fans of Bruno Mars, we can only hope he somehow hears it and enjoys our spin on his classic,” says Chris Luca, the band’s vocalist.

“The basic concept and lyrics were created years ago after a show I played at The Whisky A Go Go. As I walked down Sunset Blvd reflecting on the night and in general the many highs and lows of my time in Los Angeles, I knew I needed to write down the stream of thoughts I was having in that moment and cultivate them into a song. When I got home, I began writing and the story was told. It took a very long time, but I finally found an instrumental that was perfect for what I was feeling that night and ‘So Many Devils’ came to fruition,” says Chris Luca, the band’s vocalist.

“‘Blood Stains’ is about a failed relationship. Each blood stain represents a memory of a toxic event that ultimately led to the split. The song is an attempt to finally end this toxicity and wash away all the blood stains,” says the band.
