According to Pug-Nose Records, The Norwegian progressive metal band RUDHIRA has released a single and music video “Bodies”. The song was mixed by vocalist/guitarist Ole-Martin Moe Thornæs and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Symphony X, James LaBrie etc.). The music video can be seen here:
A little over a year after the release of the critically acclaimed debut album, Ein, Rudhira are back with a new single and music video! “We’ve gone a bit further with our musical style this time,” explains drummer Andreas Nergård. “Ein was our initial statement and now we’ve explored the edges of our style of progressive metal a bit further. Bodiesis a heavy song with a groove that is dominated by a lot of toms from the drum section and heavy bass from Mr. Todal. The song is proof that we’ve grown a lot since the debut but still there’s no doubt that it’s Rudhiraplaying.”

Rudhira also made a music video for Bodies. It’s an amazing piece of work that was shot in an old industrial building in their hometown, Trondheim. “We worked with Puzzlefilmon this video and I must say that they did an amazing job,” Andreas elaborates. “The video really reflects who we are as a band and it’s a very sexy piece of film. I really want the whole world to see it!”
This time around vocalist Ole-Martin Moe Thornæsmixed the music and genre veteran Jens Bogren (Symphony X, James LaBrie, Katatonia, Opeth, Enslaved) mastered it. “Ole really knows how to get a good mix so this time we decided to let him do the mixing,” says Andreas eagerly. “I think it’s a wise move to have someone who knows our sound mix it so Ole was the natural choice! The mastering was done in Fascination Street Studiosby Jens Bogren. He was another obvious choice for us as we wanted to up our own game and we’re extremely proud of the outcome!”
