After a successful US tour this fall, Danish deathcore powerhouse CABAL are keeping up the pace, announcing their first European headline tour today! Set for January 2024, the band will hit the road armed with their latest album Magno Interitus.
Alongside CABAL, UK metal outfits VISCERA and VEXED as well as CABAL’s fellow countrymen LIFESICK will join for the 14 date trek across eight countries.
Singer Andreas Bjulver states: “We are beyond ecstatic to do our very first headline tour outside of Denmark. This tour marks a huge step up for us as a band, and we can’t wait to bring the rot all over Europe and The United Kingdom with the help of our amazing special guests; VISCERA, VEXED and LIFESICK.”

Ahead of the upcoming Never Say Die tour, Denmark’s most visceral deathcore export CABAL have released an earth-shaking new live video for their song ‘Like Vultures’. The track is a fierce and confrontational cut from their new album Magno Interitus that was released on October 21st via Nuclear Blast Records.
Singer Andreas Bjulver states: “We live in a world were people are forced to live in absolutely poverty and misery, starving to death and dying in the streets, while the planet is dying, because of a small number of people in the absolute tops greed. Like Vultures calls out these people, to let them know that we see them and they’ll get what’s coming to them. We will be heading out on the Never Say Die tour in a few days from now and this video is compiled by a bunch of the footage from last years edition of that tour. We can’t wait to get back out on the road for this years edition of the tour.”

Copenhagen’s most visceral metal export, CABAL, have released a brand new single titled ‘Exit Wound’ that displays their willingness to tackle deeply sensitive topics whilst drawing from personal experiences. Focusing on the trauma experienced after the death of a loved one without the chance for a final goodbye, CABAL channel those feelings of powerlessness and loneliness into a gut wrenchingly intense track.
Singer Andreas Bjulver states: “Exit Wound is a very personal song to me, as it serves as an outlet for the trauma i felt right after my granddads suicide at the beginning of 2021. It deals with the heavy subject of being denied a final goodbye to one of the few people I’ve ever felt a true connection and real kinship to.”

The production is crystal clear, whilst the songwriting draws inspiration from everything from black and death metal to djent and hardcore.
Since the release of their debut album “Mark of Rot” in 2018, the young band has managed to make a name for themselves in both Denmark and the rest of the world by playing renowned festivals like Copenhell, Roskilde Festival, Euroblast Festival and Complexity Fest as well as touring in Europe, Japan and North America. CABAL released the sophomore album “Drag Me Down” in April 2020 – a dark descent into a personal hell brought to life by crushing instrumentals, an oppressive atmosphere and dark personal lyrics delivered with relentless intensity, while still leaving room for experimentation and expansion of CABAL’s signature sound. CABAL states: “The album Magno Interitus – which translates to the great decay, was written during the pandemic when we felt like everything was falling apart right in front of us, both in grand scheme of things but also on a much more personal level. So most of the songs serve as an outlet for all of the emotions we’ve felt during this time, which is also why this might not be the most uplifting album ever produced. The album was recorded, produced and mixed and mastered by our very own Chris Kreutzfeldt.”
