Finnish rock/metal act SUBURBAN TRIBE has announced plans to disband this year. The group, which formed 20 years ago (summer 1991), will hold a celebration party on July 30 at Tavastia in Helsinki as a way to thank its fans and everyone who was part of the band’s story. According to SUBURBAN TRIBE, the decision to call it quits involves no drama, only that the bandmembers’ “hearts say that this is where the road ends.”

SUBURBAN TRIBE bassist Janne Joutsenniemi was previously a member of the legendary Finnish thrash band STONE alongside guitarist Roope Latvala, who is now in CHILDREN OF BODOM.
