The live album is slated for release on January 7, 2022 and will be available on all digital platforms and a limited edition vinyl version. Pre-orders are now available HERE.

In celebration, CARNATION is now releasing the first live video for the track “Reincarnation,” which is taken from the band’s latest record, ‘Where Death Lies.’ The clip is available at THIS LOCATION.

CARNATION comments: “To celebrate the excellent experience we had during our livestream event at the Galaxy Studios, we have decided to release the entire recording as a standalone live album. We consider this performance as an important milestone during our ‘Where Death Lies’ album cycle, as we were finally able to present the new tracks in a live capacity after multiple unsuccessful attempts. Drummer Vincent Verstrepen of old school death metal revivalists CARNATION is now releasing an official drum play-through video for the track “Spirit Excision,” which is taken from their latest album, ‘Where Death Lies.’ The clip can be seen at THIS LOCATION.

Verstrepen comments: ”’Spirit Excision’ is the fourth track on our album ‘Where Death Lies’ and my favourite tune on the record! This song is a combination between groove, accents, double bass, blast beats and some concert toms that I started using while feeling inspired by Neil Peart!”

The whole band will be available in the live chat during the stream, which will be made available via both the band and label’s YouTube and Facebook. Belgian death metal stalwarts of CARNATION are now streaming a brand new drum play-through for the track ‘Napalm Ascension’, which is taken from their recently released full length ‘Where Death Lies’. Watch the new offering via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE.

Drummer Vincent Verstrepen comments: “I’m very excited to unleash the very first drum-playthrough of ‘Where Death Lies’. The writing process of ‘Napalm Ascension’ came together pretty naturally. Most of the songs on the album started from jam-sessions with the band. I tried to keep a certain flow and groove in this particular song. Enjoy & thank you all for watching!”
