Celldweller has announced “Fakebreaker,” as the first new vocal single from his recently completed Detroit studio, from the upcoming gaming-inspired Celldweller EP, God Mode. An apocalyptic assault created alongside dark bass powerhouse SWARM and UK electronic-metal artist/vocalist REEBZ, “Fakebreaker” is accompanied with an adrenaline fueled music video, delivering chaos, intensity, and merciless energy, out now across all platforms from FiXT.
The single opens with tense, cinematic synths before erupting into a powerful blend of industrial metal riffs, heavy midtempo drops, and driving electronic bass. Dark atmospheres collide with fierce vocals, crushing drums, and cybernetic textures, creating a high-energy immersive soundscape.
The music video plunges viewers into a dark, ominous cyberpunk world, playing out like a side-scroller featuring Klayton (Celldweller) and REEBZ navigating a high-stakes, video game-inspired dystopia. The project marks Celldweller’s first live-action music video in over eight years. Its intense, cinematic visuals amplify the track’s sense of chaos and rebellion, making the full experience both audibly and visually destructive.
This is Celldweller at his most relentless, cinematic, and devastating, a high-octane return proving that even after years away, he remains a pioneer of electronic-rock, industrial metal, and dystopian soundscapes. “A 303 acid bassline and a breakbeat. This was a demo for my project FreqGen, and from these humble beginnings while simultaneously completing the build of my new studio, “Fakebreaker” developed into a monster. During the process I hit up my friend REEBZ to see if she wanted to throw vocals over the FreqGen demo, and when I got them back knew instantly it needed to become a full blown Celldweller track. Being a SWARM fan, he instantly came to mind when thinking about how to make this track even bigger and better. The combination of the 3 of us was the perfect storm to bring this track to God Mode level.” – Klayton (Celldweller)
“I love Celldweller, and I love video games. When I was asked to work on a song that had both in common, it was the quickest “yes” that has ever left my lips. It turned out to be such a cool fusion of retro-tinged electronic music & heavy rock, and Reebz’ vocals gave it such a fresh feel. I had such a blast making it with such talented people!” – SWARM
“Both Celldweller and SWARM have always been great inspirations to me musically, and I was so excited to collaborate with them on our new song Fakebreaker! It was so much fun getting to record a range of both heavy and melodic vocals to add to the awesome high-energy vibe of the track. I was absolutely stoked with how it all turned out!” – REEBZ

SWARM, known by his friends as Brandon Thomas Carroll, started carving his sonically-destructive path in 2018 after recovering from nearly a decade of struggling with anorexia. In 2023, Brandon explained in an interview with Forbes how this difficult experience shaped not only who he is today, but also the dark tone and mental health-focused message of SWARM’s musical vision.
His hyper-aggressive brand of dark electronic music remains firmly rooted in the realm of Industrial EDM while taking listeners on an ever-evolving journey through rock, metal, and apocalyptic film score. This fluid combination of sounds has earned him a diverse array of musical collaborations with bands and producers alike, including Bad Omens, Till Lindemann of Rammstein, HEALTH, Celldweller, The Browning, Apashe, and Sullivan King.
In addition to amassing well over 40 million global streams of his self-released discography alone, SWARM also has released music on Sumerian Records, FiXT, Out Of Line Music, Kannibalen Records, and many more. His music has been licensed for Battle Royale juggernaut Fortnite, and featured on CSI: Las Vegas.

Circle of Dust, the ‘90s industrial-metal project of artist/producer Celldweller, is back, announcing a pre-order for the anticipated 2-LP vinyl edition of Circle of Dust’s explosive 2016 comeback album, Machines of Our Disgrace, featuring the new single “Invisible World” out now from FiXT.
Originally released in 2016 after a nearly two-decade hiatus, Machines of Our Disgrace is Circle of Dust’s fifth full-length album and a powerful statement piece from Klayton, better known to many as Celldweller and Scandroid. The album marked a massive creative resurgence, fusing metal riffs, glitchy electronics, and raw industrial noise into a sound that’s equal parts nostalgic and forward-looking.
Machines of Our Disgrace isn’t just music, it’s a brutal mirror held up to humanity’s accelerating descent into technological dependence. Across 13 core tracks, the album unpacks themes of transhumanism, biohacking, surveillance, dehumanization, and the blurred line between evolution and manipulation. Tracks like “Contagion” and the title track “Machines of Our Disgrace” explore our surrender to the machine and the consequences of automation and blind progress. “alt_Human” and “Neurachem” dive into the ethics of gene editing and synthetic enhancement. “Hive Mind” and “Humanarchy” challenge the illusion of individuality in a digitally homogenized world. On the hauntingly emotional “Outside In,” Klayton shifts gears, revealing a fragile, human core beneath the circuitry with acoustic guitars, layered harmonies, and cinematic sound design.
The album was unflinching, both sonically and lyrically, combining dark, aggressive, and energetic moods into a cohesive and cinematic listening experience. It’s a definitive work of industrial rock and a bold creative milestone in Klayton’s expansive career.
Now Machines of Our Disgrace is available as a 2-disc vinyl, featuring the full original album and an entire second disc of original new songs and remixes from Sebastian Komor, The Anix, The Plague, Zardonic, and Voicians. It also features the new singles “Invisible World” and “Digital Messiah” showcasing Klayton returning to his early 1992 roots of the self-titled Circle Of Dust album, taking inspiration from “Technological Disguise” – a nod to his earlier work.
Released today with the pre-order announcement, “Invisible World” is a defiant anthem that launches listeners headfirst into a dark, dystopian industrial rebellion. The track delivers a high-octane blend of industrial metal, thrash, and gritty cybernetic rock. The single continues Circle of Dust’s legacy of genre-defiant sound design and razor-edged commentary, combining the aggressive pulse of industrial metal, the precision of thrash, and the dark energy that’s become the project’s signature. Longtime fans will find themselves back in familiar mechanical chaos, while new listeners will be slammed by the track’s fierce modern production and unrelenting pace. It’s a track that doesn’t ask questions, it kicks down the door.
Circle of Dust made its triumphant return in 2016 after Klayton regained control of the entire Circle of Dust catalog, re-releasing each album (Self-Titled, Brainchild, Metamorphosis, Disengage, and beloved side-project Argyle Park) with remastered audio and completely re-imagined art. Later the same year, with the project fully resurrected, the new album Machines of Our Disgrace was released followed by a feature-length documentary, Full Circle: The Birth, Death & Rebirth of Circle of Dust, and full-length remix album alt_Machines in 2018.In 2020, Circle of Dust began releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition of the 1995 self-titled debut album, featuring all-new mixes resurrected on original gear with separate audio tracks for the first time in over 20 years. Each release from the album has received new remixes from modern artists such as Fury Weekend, Soul Extract, Rabbit Junk, Cyanotic, and FreqGen. 2021 kicked off with an updated version of “Twisted Reality” along with a cinematic remix from Void Chapter. The complete Circle Of Dust 25th Anniversary Edition was released in late 2021 followed by the Circle Of Dust (Remixed) album in early 2022.

With the original single released this year on August 15, the remix navigates the delicate balance between chaos and calm, taking listeners on a journey through the feelings of being lost between “nothing and nowhere,” as the lyrics suggest, while offering moments of reflection and resolution in the chorus. Blending his signature hard-hitting soundscapes with the raw intensity of the original Celldweller amplifies this intensity, weaving together pounding beats, layered synths, and the industrial grit. Falling into the electronic and industrial genres, this remix delivers a dark, atmospheric twist that perfectly complements the song’s deep lyrical themes.
In their own words: “Chester Bennington once said something like, “when I’m caught up inside my head, it’s like a bad neighborhood, and I shouldn’t be out walking alone.” This is a feeling that many of us suffer from, whether it be depression, substance abuse, or past trauma. I don’t like to be alone, and sadly I find myself in that position often due to lots of travel. It can be challenging to not let your mind take you down a dark path with various thoughts and memories. One line from No Illusion is, “…lost again, in your head, between nothing and nowhere, knowing you shouldn’t be out there alone.”
That encompasses the theme of the song; feeling lost. Yet, you find others, whether it be friends or partners who also struggle with some of the same challenges. The song takes on the idea of two people working through their challenges in life together, often including self-destructive behaviors. The chorus attempts to bring everything to a peaceful place, where you’re thinking about existentialism and impermanence. I like to use a lot of figurative language and imagery. In the lyrics are words like “evenfall,” “starlight,” “nightmare,” and lines like “lost again in your head between nothing and nowhere.” I like to leave the interpretation of the lyrics up to the listener and for them to potentially have many meanings to many people”– Stephen Sims (Deadcode Singer/Lyricist)
Formed in 2020 by Steven Morgan (Music/Production/Guitars) and Stephen Sims (Vocals), Deadcode creates a seamless hybrid of rock and electronic music that feeds off of sci-fi themes to deliver an epic soundscape that almost sends listeners to another world. The band’s upcoming series of songs are each releasing along with cinematic high production-value music videos that will unfold the story of an epic space-opera that spans time and galaxies. “Deadcode is an ambitious project that bend the lines between music, cinema, and performance, and becomes more rewarding for the fans that want to explore and immerse themselves into something alien,” explains Morgan about the sensorial environment that will enthrall listeners with a full-on immersive experience that will integrate the music and videos in the upcoming live performances.
