Swiss metal legends SAMAEL have announced a rare North American festival appearance at Montreal’s Messe Des Morts Festival, where the band will play their universally lauded album, ‘Ceremony of Opposites’ in its entirety. Messe Des Morts runs from April 2-4 and sees the band playing alongside underground stalwarts SHINING, CULT OF FIRE, and MITOCHONDRION. More information about Messe Des Morts is available here.

Founded in 1997, SAMAEL has earned notoriety within the worldwide underground scene as a result of the band’s constant evolution in extreme music. The band’s classic album, ‘Ceremony of Opposites’ is considered the record that paved the way for SAMAEL’s shift from primitive black metal to their current-day fusion of extreme metal with industrial music.
