Lynyrd Skynyrd, Opeth and Rush are all nominated for the 2012 Classic Rock Awards, run by Classic Rock magazine, in the following categories:

Opeth‘s Heritage and Rush‘s Clockwork Angels are both up for Album of the Year!
Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rush are both up for Band of the Year!
Finally, the Download Festival is one of the nominees for Event of the Year. A fistful of Roadrunner acts performed this year: Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Megadeth, Nightwish, Opeth, Corey Taylor, Theory of a Deadman and Trivium!
