The third video from the collaboration between 7string guitar goddess THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF and world leading classical guitarist Craig Ogden premieres on Guitar World. The song was written by The Commander-In-Chief and it is the bonus track on their album “2 Guitars – The Classical Crossover Album” – which was released yesterday, on December 10th. This re-arranged acoustic version of her original song “Let It Go” features Craig Ogden on classical guitar and her on vocals. Check out the video — Exclusively on Guitar World, HERE.
The album features several songs normally played by violin virtuosos and some of them have never been recorded by guitarists before The CIC decided to play them; Zigeunerweisen Op.20 by P. Sarasate and Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso by C. Saint-Saens. The album also has a guitar duel version of Paganini´s challenging Caprice 24. Their video for it was featured on the “top ten metal meets classical” list in major newspaper The Guardian, UK.
This is the last day of the pre-order campaign for the album on Pledgemusic, where you can get exclusives, such as signed CDs, Vinyls, etc. For more information go to The Commander-in-Chief & Craig Ogden: 2 Guitars: The Classical Crossover Album HERE.
