Italian Epic Doom Metallers CRIMSON DAWN have revealed the lyrics video for the title track of the new album, “Inverno”, set for release in March 2020 via Punishment 18 Records.

“Inverno means Winter in Italian, so it’s only fitting to reveal it on the first day of the season” – said Dario Beretta, guitarist and composer – “It’s a track which is completely sung in Italian. That’s something we started to think about when we did that small Italian folk insert in ‘The Skeleton Key’ on our second album. Lots of fans, especially from outside Italy, said they enjoyed that very much and suggested we do a full song with Italian lyrics someday, so here it is. It wasn’t an easy task, because we’re used to writing in English, and because Italian is a difficult language to use in the context of rock and metal songs, but in the end we’re very happy with the result. It shows a different side of us, incorporating our Doom Metal roots with our Italian roots. We’re also very happy that our long-time friend and co-founder of the band, Emanuele Rastelli from Crown Of Autumn, has lent his voice to the song in a great duet with our singer Antonio. As a band, we want to keep growing and experimenting, and you will see this when the rest of the album comes out. We want to forge our own brand of Doom Metal, not just to rehash what the masters have done so well before us. You will see this in 2020. We’ll have lots of surprises for all our fans. It’s going to be an exciting year for sure!”
