Metalcore outfit RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA are excited to reveal the music video for their ferocious single, “War Is Killing Us All”, taken off of their debut Century Media album, “Cursed”, which was released in early 2017.
The video was directed by Vince Lundi and filmed at the notorious Ohio State Reformatory, which has held some of history’s most infamous criminals and has also been notably seen as the backdrop for blockbuster movies such as “The Shawshank Redemption”. Much like the alleged ghosts that have been claimed to haunt the prison, RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA refuse to be silenced with their “deliberate and measured harsh vocals and growls” (Cryptic Rock) on “War Is Killing Us All”.
Guitarist Justin Olmstead commented, “Everything came together perfectly for the ‘War Is Killing Us All’ video. The song is dark and aggressive, so we wanted to go at it in a unique way that would actually capture the attitude. Capture the mentality of twisted distress and borderline insanity, while portraying that most battles are created and sustained in our own minds, ultimately attacking ourselves. Vince Lundi and the crew absolutely killed it on our POV concept, and everyone at the Ohio State Reformatory was so cool in opening their doors and allowing us virtually free reign on sections of the prison to get the shots we needed to get. Everyone had such a great time hanging out and checking out the prison that it didn’t even feel like a video shoot. Definitely an experience we will always remember.”

Global Music Award-winning nomadic folk metal group TENGGER CAVALRY have already released two new singles from their upcoming album, Die On My Ride, on June 2 via M-Theory Audio. The tracks, entitled “Die On My Ride” and “Ashley” portray two very different sides of the band, both musically and conceptually.
Just recently TENGGER CAVALRY unleashed a third track into the mix. “Cursed” is a more introspective look at breaking down personal barriers risen by oneself and others. “Cused” premiered via Metal Hammer, here.
Watch the lyric video here:
“‘Cursed’ is about breaking barriers,” says TENGGER CAVALRY frontman Nature G. “Society has always put up different mental and physical barriers barring individuals just trying to achieve their dreams. You are too short, you are minority, you are a female not a man, you are from somewhere else, you don’t look good enough. All these disadvantages that we think we are born with, are like a curse to us. We are cursed for believing these barriers, aren’t we? No, we are not. We need to break this barrier of belief. We need to strike it and claim who we are supposed to be. Cursed, or rise above the curse.”
Die On My Ride is available to pre-order now in both physical CD and vinyl format via M-Theory Audio or digitally via the band’s Bandcamp page. The album is distributed by AISA/RED in North America and PHD in the UK. Die On My Ride adds new flavor to the band’s celebrated, exotic metal-meets-Mongolian/Central Asian musical influence and lyrical explorations of tradition, history and warfare. The album further delves into topical themes of personally-experienced racial discrimination, identity conflicts and equal rights issues while exploring new sounds and musical influence.
In addition to hearing these tracks on Die On My Ride, you can witness them live on the band’s upcoming 25+ date North American headline tour featuring support from Felix Martin, Malphas, Sicocis and Helsott. The tour will begin in Montreal, QC on June 3 and visit several other major Canadian and U.S. cities before coming to an end on July 8 in Manchester, NH (Malphas will appear June 3-13, Helsott June 18-27, and Sicocis June 28-July 8). About TENGGER CAVALRY:
As one of the most unique and innovative acts in modern music, TENGGER CAVALRY (“the army of the sky god” in Mongolian) blends the nomadic musical traditions, instrumentation and warrior spirit of Central Asia with the aggression and power of heavy metal. The group was founded by Nature “G” Ganganbaigal, who sings using the ancient Mongolian tradition of Khoomei (more commonly known as throat-singing) and plays multiple native instruments, including the Morin Khuur (an ancient fiddle), the Tovshuur (a Mongolian guitar) and the Mongolian flute.
Following Nature G’s relocation to America four years ago, TENGGER CAVALRY has successfully completed two headlining tours and even sold out a performance at New York City’s prestigious Carnegie Hall.
In the studio, meanwhile, the group’s output has been prodigious – since forming in 2010, they’ve released four full-length albums, two EPs and numerous singles, including unique cover interpretations of metal classics. In January, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine retweeted the group’s cover of “Symphony of Destruction,” while the previous month, the official Motörhead Facebook page reposted their rendition of “Fight.”
TENGGER CAVALRY has been praised by top media outlets such as Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Billboard, CNN, The Huffington Post and countless others.
This Is Core Music is proud to announce that IF I DIE TODAY, came back at the Hate Studio in Vicenza (Italy) to record the third official full-length, out in November.
The band is currently in studio to complete the recordings of “Cursed”, that will see the light of day this autumn. The successor of “Postcards from the abyss”, which was released a couple of years ago and that has allowed the band to play in several European countries like Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine and festivals like Groezrock 2012.
This is a record that marks a change in trend respect to the latest productions, both of production and songwriting.
