On May 16th 2015 it will be 5 years since the legendary Ronnie James Dio passed away. To honour him some Swedish bands and artists have joined forces to record a tribute. Meet D.A.S.S. or ‘DIO Appreciation Society Sweden‘, which is part of the Legacy – A Tribute To Ronnie James Dio. All proceeds will go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. The band has the following members:

Mats Levén – Vocals (Candlemass, ex Yngwie Malmsteen, KRUX a.o.)
Mike Wead – Guitar (King Diamond, bibleblack, Hexenhaus a.o.)
Simon Johansson – Guitar (Wolf, Memory Garden, bibleblack)
Anders Modd – Bass (Wolf, ex Tad Morose a.o.)
Tom Björn – Drums (Nightingale, Memory Garden a.o.)

The band comment:
