David Reece has just been confirmed as the headliner of Pirates Metal Night – 10 Years El Puerto Records.
Reason enough to give an impression of his live concerts with a new video. “Tomorrow Don’t Matter Today” uses live footage from his release tour through the USA and Scandinavia, which took place directly after the release of his latest album “Baptized By Fire” on March 1st.
Not much more needs to be said about David Reece. Since the late 80s, his charismatic voice has enhanced successful albums by ACCEPT, Bangalore Choir, Bonfire and the Sainted Sinners, among others. In addition to this, however, he also continued to focus on his solo career. As the cover and title “Baptized by Fire” already suggest, his latest album is significantly “heavier” than its two predecessors. Twelve new songs full of power, mature and varied. One reason for this is certainly his new band line-up. In his adopted home of Italy, he found three highly talented, creative collaborators with whom he was able to work on the songs around the clock. A paradise for a “thoroughbred” musician like Reece!
Tracklist: 01 – Enemy Is Me 02 – We’ve Lost The Fight 03 – Wrong Move 04 – Payback’s A Bitch 05 – No Rest For The Wicked 06 – Twilight of the Gods 07 – Seasons Of A Man 08 – Closer To God 09 – Archbishop Of Anarchy 10 – My Heart Burns 11 – Acceptance Of Denial 12 – Tomorrow Don’t Matter Today
DAVID REECE releases his new album “Baptized By Fire” – 12 heavy metal highlights that he wants to celebrate live as often as possible. The beginning has a certain metal romanticism about it. He has chosen Minnesota in the USA for the release concert. A journey into his own past – this is where his musical career began in the early eighties.
In his own words, it sounds like this: “Greetings everyone around the globe I thought I would take a few moments to speak about the journey of rock’n’roll. As i sit here in my hotel room in Minnesota I can’t help but reflect on the fact that my journey in music began here in the early 80’s.Those days were full of wonder where a kid named David Reece was playing six to seven nights per week in the local Minnesota scene and throughout the midwest doing covers and trying to write my own songs and scratch a living out at the same time.Through the journey I’ve met many many wonderful people because music is the Universal language we all understand.I begin Friday night March 1 2024 by playing Route 47 in Fridley Minnesota and looks like many many old friends and new friends will attend.I am also pleased to announce that March 1 is the official release date of my latest works Baptized by Fire on El Puerto records worldwide! The media has been amazing my band is amazing and the fans are amazing! Also March 1 our second video single We’ve lost the fight will coincide with everything so watch for You tube and listen to this great song! In closing I wish to thank you all for your support and promise the best we can deliver live.Remember Life’s a journey not a destination Your’s in voice – David Reece “
At the end, the viewer can expect a sequence in which fans and friends take part in the video. It’s worth taking a closer look, because one or two well-known musicians have also joined in. Be curious!

With the first single “Enemy Is Me” from his upcoming album “Baptized By Fire”, David Reece sends a first hint at the musical direction of the new CD. Much heavier than its two predecessors! The reviews so far immediately draw comparisons with Accept – which was clear given his musical history – and other heavy metal heavyweights.
David Reece has changed, is more focused, but darker and more aggressive in his songs! But the single is also a foretaste of the outstanding quality of his new band. The three Italians Riccardo Demarosi, Niccolò and Giovanni Savinelli show impressively how “fresh wind” should sound in metal today.

DAVID REECE have revealed the cover and tracklist for his new album “Baptized By Fire”, which will be released on March 1, 2024, followed by an extensive tour through North America and Europe. The exact dates will be released gradually. The artwork was created by Newton Artworxx.
The singer says: “The title choice of Baptized by Fire was suggested by a friend in America as we talk about the ongoing efforts in working on new music and the trials that always go along while creating the music, creating a visual to also flow with the music.I have branded David Reece with the Chief and felt the Chief should evolve like each new album I release so working with Ritchie Newton we agreed to give the Chief a new more aggressive look that also goes along with the sound and vibe of this record.I am very excited to share this album through El Puerto Records because it’s a natural progression in this journey.”

DAVID REECE has unleashed the new Bangalore Choir video for the song ‘Back To Life’, taken from the new album “Center Mass” which was released on Global Rock Records via Cherry Red on July 7th.
David Reece adds:
Greetings BC friends and family! Well as everyone knows we’ve recorded a new Bangalore Choir record which we felt was way overdue. On Target has been a personal favorite of mine since the inception and I always felt a need to awaken the beast again. The record Center Mass was recorded in Italy and produced, mixed and mastered by Riccardo Demarosi who also plays bass on the record. The guitar’s are played by Nicolò Savinelli, Jimi Bell, Martin Kronlund, Mario Percudani and many others. Nello Savinelli is the one driving the nails on drum’s. Also a special addition was reaching out to the great Ian Mayo who also contributes on the album. There’s a special “If The Good Die Young (We’ll Live Forever) Part Two” on the album which the great Brynn Arens masterfully created. Giles Lavery I must give a shout out to because he’s been the rock that makes it roll with me for many years. I think we tapped into some of the magic everyone expects from Bangalore Choir and I advise you in advance to Crank it!
Fronted by former Accept and Bonfire vocalist David Reece, Bangalore Choir emerged in 1991 at the tail end of the 1980s melodic metal movement, instantly impressing the rock press with big choruses, melodic guitar playing and songwriting contributions by Jon Bon Jovi, Aldo Nova and Autograph’s Steve Plunkett!
The new album ‘Center Mass’ was released on Global Rock Records via Cherry Red on July 7th, is a direct sequel in style to the classic debut ‘On Target’,and is sure to excite fans of the debut album and of the melodic heavy rock genre in general.
The initial pressing comes with an 8 song live CD recorded in Germany in 2022.
