Swedish Rockers DEAD LORD have launched first single, “Strained Fools” from their new album ‘Heads Held High’, set to be released worldwide via Century Media Records on August 21st. Stream the new track “Strained Fools” below.

Heads Held High will be released in the following formats:
1. Limited CD Digipak (matte cardboard, bonus track, logo patch)
2. Standard CD
3. Deluxe LP (180 g vinyl, inside-out print, inlay, double-sided poster)

Sweden’s DEAD LORD has revealed the cover artwork for their upcoming album, Heads Held High, which is going to be released worldwide by Century Media Records on August 21st. DEAD LORD’s debut album, Goodbye Repentance, hit the scene like an airstrike out of nothing in 2013 and gained them the reputation of being excellent song writers and vanguards of the new scene of classic hard rock. Two years of constant live activities have managed to spread the name of DEAD LORD further all across the rock music scene. With the newly gained experience and armed to the teeth with killer songs, DEAD LORD entered the studio in late 2014 to record Heads Held High, an album with “10 songs of solid no-bogus, face-melting, twin-guitar, smart-rock action”, as singer/guitarist Hakim Krim describes the album.

The album’s artwork was created by Pol Abran / Branca Studio; details about formats, vinyl color splits and more will be announced soon.

Century Media Records is proud to announce the signing of DEAD LORD from Sweden.

DEAD LORD was formed in January 2012. The mission was to rock. It still is.
The band’s critically acclaimed debut album, Goodbye Repentance, was released in 2013 through High Roller Records. The album as well as two 7″ EPs (one being a split 7″ with BLACK TRIP) gained DEAD LORD a lot of attention, both from media and fans of straight forward rock. With the reputation of being one of the best live rock acts today, DEAD LORD have played festivals like Rock Hard, Muskelrock, Getaway Rock, Hell’s Pleasure, Turock Open Air, Hell Over Hammaburg and also Metal Assault and have toured with IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC, NOCTUM and most recently WOLF. DEAD LORD’s appearance at Rockpalast/Crossroads Festival was broadcasted via WDR in October 2014 and can still be seen here.

DEAD LORD’s second studio album is entitled Heads Held High and was produced/recorded by Ola Ersfjord (known from his works for TRIBULATION, MORBUS CHRON, DREAD SOVEREIGN, etc.) and Nicke Andersson (ex-ENTOMBED, ex-THE HELLACOPTERS, IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC).
Philipp Schulte, A&R at Century Media, comments on the signing as follows: “We are more than happy to finally have DEAD LORD on Century Media. Their brilliant debut album, the excellent 7″ EPs and the awesome (or better: AWESOME!!!) live shows have made DEAD LORD’s mission very clear: They are here to rock. And their new album ‘Heads Held High’ surely does rock. Welcome on board!!”

Sweden’s guardians of real Heavy Metal, WOLF, released their seventh album “Devil Seed” in August 2014 and proved once more that there are one of the best bands to keep metal true. And WOLF want to invite you to witness their evil powers live:
