DIONISYAN To Release New Album, Lyric Video “Blood Prophecy” Unleashed

DIONISYAN have signed with Sliptrick Records for their second album, provisionally titled “Delirium and Madness – Concerto Grosso Opera N° 2 in G Minor”, which should be ready for release by 2017. It will be released worldwide in all the usual formats via Sliptrick Records. Now the band has unleashed a lyric video for “Blood Prophecy”, taken from the upcoming album. Tregor Russo proposes with his band DIONISYAN, an innovative Atmospheric Doom Metal melted Symphonic Baroque Metal, structured in his polyrhythmic contrapuntal polyphony style. The lyrics he has written for the opera are based on the “Concept for the Human Sanctification”. All compositions, arrangements, orchestrations and lyrics by Tregor Russo. All Instruments were recorded and performed by Tregor Russo at Ultrasuoni Studio, Palermo, Italy.

TREGOR RUSSO (teacher of music, composer, arranger, lyricist, orchestrator, multi instrumentalist and producer) is glad to introduce the second official video clip of DIONISYAN. “Chain of Thorns” is taken from the first full lenght concept album “The Mystery of Faith”, released worldwide in 2014 by italian Beyond Prod/Masterpiece Distr. With the album “The Mystery of Faith” DIONISYAN proposed an innovative progressive/atmospheric/death/doom metal with classical music and traditional arabian music.

TREGOR RUSSO (teacher of music, composer, arranger, lyricist, orchestrator, multi instrumentalist and producer) is extremely glad to announce that he has the pleasure to have as special guest SARAH EICK, amazing opera singer and now norwegian journalist, who sang in Norwegian language in one of the songs that will be part of the second full lenght concept Album of his DIONISYAN Band.

“Her unique voice’s style between the ambient and Norwegian folk, enhances her ethereal voice, marrying perfectly with the atmospheric symphonic doom metal and baroque music of his DIONISYAN Band.”

Sarah Eick has sung and recorded her beautiful voices in the 1997 demo album “To Mourn Is A Virtue” of the legendary norwegian band FUNERAL.

Italian Atmospheric Gothic Doom Metal project DIONISYAN is working on the second full-length concept album.

Some important and decisive changes have entered the realm of the Band of TREGOR RUSSO; Mastermind and factotum of his musical project DIONISYAN, with the active first concept album “The Mystery Of Faith” released Worldwide in 2014 for the Beyond Prod. / Masterpiece distribuition, decided to change the style of music for his Band, from now on, will propose only “Atmospheric Gothic Doom Metal”, retaining only the elements of Classical Music, with training in the insertion of the new Female Singer that replacing the male growl singer, then with respect to the traditional middle eastern music, progressive metal and melodic death metal, will no longer be available from Second Album on the DIONISYAN.

Very soon I will present you the new line up of DIONISYAN and will attach the new photos!

“The Mystery of Faith” is the first full-length Concept Album of DIONISYAN – written, composed, arranged and orchestrated by TREGOR RUSSO (SORTILEGIUM, ERIAMINELL, LEPER DIVINE etc). He decides to give life to DIONISYAN, with the intent to create Music and Lyrics from his deep feelings, pathos, dark emotions and amalgamate melancholy atmospheres in complexes gloomy arrangements. “The Mystery of Faith” is expressing mix of emotions between Angels and Demons, it contains growl vocals by Ignazio Conticello, gregorian male vocals by Tregor Russo and gregorian female vocals by Maryanne Bonfante, which give a conflict messed up feelings between Light and Dark, besides that veiled with atmospheric and at the same time melodic doom/death hard Tones.

The new musical project of TREGOR RUSSO proposes Symphonic Doom / Melodic Death Metal with Progressive, Atmospheric, Epic, Funeral, Gothic, Heavy Metal elements and amalgamating Classical Baroque Music and Traditional Arabian Music. He performing all the instruments in the studio; Electric 7 strings Guitars, Classical Guitar, Lute, 5 strings Bass, Drums, Keyboards and Clean Gregorian Voice, with Ignazio Conticello on Growl Vocals. Tregor Russo directed the orchestrations to the Roxy Studio – Palermo “Italy” with regard to the registration of the Violins, Violas, Cello, Harp and Harpsichord by some fellow academics who took part in the recording as guests in the Album!

For the fans of the Symphonic Doom, Melodic Death, Progressive, Classical Baroque Music and Gregorian Chants!
