GATHERING OF KINGS Release Lyric Video For ‘From A Whisper To A Scream’

Swedish melodic hardrockers GATHERING OF KINGS have released the official lyric video for the song “From A Whisper To A Scream”, watch it below. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album, “Discovery”, which will be released on May 15 via RN Records.

The Album was produced by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room, Skövde, with Ron Dahlgren, Nina Dahlgren & Victor Olsson as executive producers. Drums was recorded at Nordic Sound Lab by Thomas “Plec” Johansson, Bengan Andersson and Victor Olsson. The cover artwork was once again created by german artist Markus Vesper.

Gathering Of Kings is created and supervised by Ron Dahlgren and Nina Dahlgren, bringing together top musicians from the current hard rock scene in Sweden. The idea was to create a AOR/Melodic Hard Rock project/band like Tom Galley’s Phenomena or even Tobias Sammet’s Avantasia, with multiple vocalists and instrumentalists. Victor Olsson is the main songwriter, with Alexander Frisborg co-writing the lyrics.

The follow-up to 2019’s critically acclaimed debut album “First Mission” will be released by RN Records on all digital platforms as well as on CD and vinyl.

Swedish melodic hard rock AOR band GATHERING OF KINGS will release its new album, “Discovery”, on May 15th via RN Records.

Three singles “Heaven On The Run”, “Moonlight” and “Kiss From Above” from the upcoming album has already been released and a fourth single “From A Whisper To A Scream” will be made available on April 24th.

Discovery Says TED NUGENT Won’t Appear On Channel Again

According to Media Matters For America, following the mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, the cable network Discovery told Fox News that it has canceled its reality series American Guns. In October, Discovery aired a one-hour special called Ted Nugent‘s Gun Country starring NRA board member and Washington Times columnist Ted Nugent, despite his history of inflammatory rhetoric.

While Discovery has described Ted Nugent’s Gun Country as a “one-hour special,” Nugent claimed that Discovery “want[s] to do it as a regular feature.” Nugent has also said the show would help him advance his view in the “culture war.”

The episode of Ted Nugent’s Gun Country that aired in October showed Nugent shooting a scimitar-horned oryx, an animal extinct in the wild, and using a .50-caliber Browning armor-piercing machine gun to blow holes in a steel door used by a team of “preppers” to protect their armory.

Raw Story reported that Ted Nugent won’t return to Discovery “in any form or fashion.” A Discovery spokesperson told the outlet that while Ted Nugent’s Gun Country didn’t draw high ratings when it aired in October, the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, also played a role.
