Enigmatic black metal legions DÖDSRIT and LAMP OF MURMUUR have teamed up for a co-headlining tour throughout Europe this spring! The Regal Vengeance Tour (Part 1) will embark on its path of destruction starting first from April 3 – 5 and then will resume its onslaught from May 13 – 24. In addition, both bands will be dominating the European festival circuit this year, with more festivals TBA! The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.
Dödsrit comments:
“Head our words! With bitter rejoice, the flames of catharsis burn fierce… this time under the banner of ‘Regal Vengeance.’
“We ride not alone, but once again in conspiracy with our brethren. The dreaming prince who bears the Saturnian crown; Lamp of Murmuur!
“Our journey will reach new territory, and leave new scars into the world’s flesh. “…and let it be known to you all: this journey does not end here. This is the first wound of more to come..”
Lamp of Murmuur adds,
“From nothingness, towards glory we rise. As the Prince breathes in the waking world, gentle cinders shimmer leading us toward the wandering Knight.
“Two pilgrims, one journey. Side by side we ride… seeking the ultimate retribution: Regal Vengeance.
“The banners of the Saturnian Prince venture toward lands unknown, standing proud as equals with our brethren in Dödsrit. “Stay vigilant, more shall come…”
In addition, Lamp of Murmuur will also be embarking on the To Dream of Rhûn Europe 2026 headliner in EU/UK from April 24 – May 2, with support from Tolkienian black metal masters ONE OF NINE. Tickets can be found HERE.

More on DÖDSRIT:
From the shadowy desolated woods of Borlänge, Sweden and the rusting urban lechery of Amsterdam, The Netherlands comes Dödsrit, a maelstrom of soul tearing blackness and cacophony.
Dödsrit entered the worldly realms in 2017 as a sole venture that would produce both the self-titled debut in that same year and the subsequent ‘Spirit Crusher’ in 2018. Following this second full-length, the project expanded into a full-fledged group with the addition of three new members, a change that would sharpen the band’s course into the potent force that stands today.
Whether painting landscapes of storming riffs, crescendos of pulsing intensity, or immersing mournful wails, Dödsrit’s crushing devotion to the visceral element in men and nature allured from its very inception. While rooted in the Black Metal milieu, the group’s sonic traits expand wide and beyond, from repetitive and atmospheric upsurges of misty ambiance to melancholic yet triumphant infused outbreaks, a pallet of sorts that provides this journey with an uproar of emotions. Such features find their most precise outcome on their latest opus, ‘Nocturnal Will’, a step forward in the direction of the abyss, and a definitive illustration of Dödsrit’s treacherous display of ghastly emanations for and to the strife and suffering of our feeble world, and it’s nocturnal flame.

More on LAMP OF MURMUUR:
Few artists in recent memory have swept through the dark underground with the excited fervour that Lamp of Murmuur has achieved since first appearing with a string of demos in 2019.
Despite the project’s quick rise to renown, little is known about the band except that the project hails from Los Angeles, CA, and is led by an enigmatic man known as M.
After the initial onslaught that was ‘Heir of Ecliptical Romanticism,’ it was evident that behind the awe inspiring riffs and classic black metal cold atmosphere hid a completely different beast, one with a particular obsession and sensibility that allowed the project to break through the barrage of raw black metal projects that now flood the internet.
Two more albums came after that initial effort was released (‘Submission and Slavery’ in 2021 and the overwhelmingly acclaimed ‘Saturnian Bloodstorm’ in 2023) that cemented the one-man-band’s status as a spearheading institution in modern Black Metal, delivering albums that constantly bend the rules while also maintaining that rebellious and unapologetic spirit that represents the genre’s tradition so greatly.
In 2025, Lamp of Murmuur unleashed their latest effort: ‘The Dreaming Prince in Ecstasy,’ A celebration of M.’s progress as a musician, yet again breaking and bending all preconceptions of how black metal should sound, yet retaining the exquisite songwriting and larger than life head-banging riffs that the project has become known for, attracting and enchanting adepts from all regions of the world.
