Doro Pesch recently spoke to The Metal Voice about her upcoming Doro cruise, Lemmy tribute album, new dong Warriors of the sea and a new fossil named Ophiopetagno Doro, after her.
When asked about the Lemmy Tribute album ‘I want to do something for Lemmy because it would be his anniversary and it’s called ‘Rock to Death’ and that will come out in September (2025). I want to put on the album with all our duets. We did a couple of duets like ‘Love Me Forever’ a Motörhead Classic and ‘Alone Again’. Also some Motörhead covers like ‘Ace of Spades’ of course and ‘Rock and roll’. So I’m just in the middle of putting that together, in memory of Lemmy
When asked if there are unreleased songs ‘Actually all these versions, they are different versions than you could find on the records ,(alternate takes and mixes). It was funny, I went to the studio and I was checking out all kinds of bags when I’m doing a production I always have like big bags with like CDs and stuff. And back in the day cassettes. It was so funny underneath my bed there was a bag. And I didn’t even think of it I didn’t open it for a long time and that day before I went to the studio and I opened that bag and there were all these CDs and all our mixes like the two duets I did with Lemmy, in LA actually. Bob Kulick he was recording everything it was his studio and I found all these unreleased tracks. So this record will have a lot of unreleased mixes and tracks and um stuff you already know but it’s different versions. Alternate takes, alternate mixes because when we did our first duets ‘Love Me Forever’ and ‘Alone Again’ man I think we had 10 mixes and we couldn’t decide which one was the best. I want to put out a vinyl and maybe CD but definitely this vinyl and then a um a liquid filled vinyl with you know with Lemmys favorite drinks whiskey and cola so it will be probably Jack Daniel’s cola in a liquid filled vinyl. We are just uh checking it out how we can do it and I think there’s a way we found a company. So that’s something really special so you know and you can actually put a little hole in it and then check it out it’s definitely Jack Daniel’s and cola. ‘

DIRKSCHNEIDER are gearing up for the release of their eagerly anticipated album “Balls To The Wall Reloaded,” scheduled for release on February 28, 2025 through RPM. ““Balls To The Wall” has always been one of my absolute favourite albums. I was really happy to sing the wonderful ‘Winter Dreams’ as a duet with Udo Dirkschneider and to shoot a great video for it. We have a long friendship and it is always special to work with him,”Doro adds.

Upcoming North American Tour
“We actually changed our agencies. I just met our new agent right here ten minutes ago in our dressing room. We definitely planning a long tour (Canada included) and I don’t know exactly when and how.”
Live DVD “I just celebrated my big anniversary so we did two huge shows. Two and a half hours shows with many guests and so we are working on a Blu-ray DVD and live and we want to put it out next year.”
Jimmy Kay from Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to Doro Pesch live on Youtube. She spoke about her upcoming album Conqueress-Forever Strong and Proud (via Nuclear Blast) as well as recalled stories on her touring days with Judas Priest, WASP, Megadeth and Metallica.
Doro was asked by The Metal Voice about tour with W.A.S.P. in the early years she said,” We hopped on tour with W.A.S.P. in England. It was my first big tour in the UK and I was sick as a dog. I was so sick. The tour was not the big stadiums it was like the smaller Club. So there was usually only one dressing room for the headliner and we didn’t have a dressing room. So I was sitting on a Stairway, it was cold, it was freezing and I had a big fever. I probably had pneumonia I didn’t know. I think that was what it was. So Blacky Lawless he came up the stairs and he said hey are you Dora? Are you from Warlock? Are you the support band? I said yes and he said you look really really sick and I said man, I feel I’m dying and he said you know come with me and then he carried me into his dressing room. He told his band members let me have the dressing room. And he said lay on the couch and he gave me all kinds of medicine and some vitamins and fruit juice and fresh fruit which in the 80s there was unheard of in England. So he said I will take care of you and he gave me some me medicine like it was his secret portion and I drank it and I ate some vitamins and then I laid down he said you know what, you sleep and I will wake you up when it’s time for you to go on stage or to get dressed. And I slept like a baby and then he woke me up and I got all dressed up and I felt so good, I was healed almost instantly. It was still a heavy tour but you know I felt so good and he really took care of me and he was the sweetest person and it was unbelievable and he probably will not remember that but I will remember that for a lifetime.”
German metal queen Doro Pesch will release her new studio album, “Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud”, on October 27 via Nuclear Blast. “Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud” will arrive one day before Doro’s 40th-anniversary concert at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Germany’s most successful rock singer DORO PESCH has just been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award – Germany’s most important music accolade.
The Pop Culture Prize was awarded in Berlin’s “Admiralspalast” on October 4th in front of musicians, a specialist audience, and media representatives.
The joy was palpable, and Doro accepted the award to thunderous applause from the euphoric music industry present. The emotional laudatory speech was given by Alex Wesselsky from the band EISBRECHER.
“What an honour,” says Doro Pesch. “This award totally motivates me to always go full throttle and give everything! From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone who has supported me.”
The “Prize for Pop Culture” is the continuation of the prestigious German “Echo” music prize.
In the past, metal acts have been rarely seen at this event and it’s a great honour for Doro, who will be celebrating 40 years of her career in 2023.
Canada’s The Metal Voice spoke with DORO PESCH of Warlock about her upcoming Live album Triumph And Agony Live which will be released on 24 September 2021 via Rare Diamonds
During the interview Doro Spoke about the new live album, showed the metal guys the Bullet she was given with Lemmy of Motorhead’s ashes, a three metal queen tour with Lee Aaron, Lita Ford and herself and talked about the upcoming studio album she is working on in the new year 2022.
In regards to the new alive album “We played Sweden Rock and it was the first time we performed the Triumph and Agony in it’s entirety and the first time was the most magical one. On the Live Cd it is a also mixture of Sweden and Spain. There is also a Blu Ray that comes with it of our performance at Sweden Rock and also a nice documentary which is about 90 minutes long. I think it’s very cool even especially for die hard fans. I even put some bootlegs in it like some snippets with our tour with Megadeth in 1988 as well as other videos too.”
When asked about the Lemmy ashes she was sent “There was a beautiful letter that was came with this package, I was so blown away. His ashes is in a bullet and it says Lemmy. I loved him so much.”
Touring with Lee Arron and Lita Ford as the Three Metal Queens tour “Yes I am interested in that it would be awesome. I recently did something nice with Lita Ford in the Studio and it will be on her upcoming record eventually
