Australian blackened death metal outfit EARTH ROT are now releasing a brand new live video for the track ‘Unraveling Vapour of Sanity’ which is taken from the band’s latest release ‘Black Tides Of Obscurity’. The footage can now be seen via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE. The link may be freely spread throughout your channels.

EARTH ROT comments: “While we can’t tour or even meet up to create a video, our good friend NJV Media has pieced this video together for Unravelling Vapour Of Sanity from our Melbourne show of the Dread Rebirth tour in March. While we spend our isolation starving off madness, this track seems the appropriate choice.”

Australian blackened death metal outfit EARTH ROT are now releasing a brand new live video for ‘Bestial Shadow Forest’, which was shot during their tour with FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE and PSYCROPTIC in Tokyo back in 2017. The never released footage can now be seen via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE.

EARTH ROT comments: “While we can’t be bringing our live shows to you at the moment, we’ve dug up a live track from our previous album! Here’s ‘Bestial Shadow Forest’ from ‘Renascentia’ at a huge show in Tokyo from our 2017 tour with our friends Fleshgod Apocalypse and Psycroptic. Crack a cold one and enjoy a some Earth Rot while we’re all at home!”

Australian blackened death metal outfit EARTH ROT are now unveiling the second track of their upcoming opus ‘Black Tides of Obscurity’, which will be released on March 06, 2020 via Season of Mist. The music video for the single ‘Mind Killer’ is now streaming via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE.

Guitarist Colin comments: “As the human mind develops and matures, the radiant yet indistinct forms of the unknown coalesce into knowable concepts, bounded and caged by language. The blazing brilliance of primal ideas solidifies into the banality of earthly understanding. A malevolent entity, old as existence itself, unknowable by mortal languages – as mortal language was created to guard the mind from its conception. For aeons it lurked, hidden in the spaces between concepts. It defied definition – the antithesis of the conscious mind. Mind Killer.”

Australian blackened death metal outfit EARTH ROT will release ‘Black Tides of Obscurity’ on March 6, 2010 via Season of Mist, making it their debut to the label. The band have revealed the album art, tracklisting, and an Australian record release tour, which can be viewed below.

EARTH ROT comment: “A morbid hallucination of the inevitable end. Heralded by titanic black waves, monstrous tentacles spill forth from the abyss, accompanied by a total fracturing of the mind. Hanging black in the heavens, an all-seeing spectre of the adversary confirms our darkest fear: doom is coming for us all. It is with much excitement we reveal the title and artwork for our upcoming Season of Mist debut release, ‘Black Tides of Obscurity’ with artwork by the exceptional Khaos Diktator Design. To celebrate the album release, we’ve handpicked lineups of the best that Australia’s underground metal scene has to offer.
